Cyber Cheater

Cyber Cheater

You are my cheating heart.
Passing me by from the start.

I feel desolate and broken in two.
Scarred for life, my heart hangs askew…

What have I done for you to leave?
I thought you loved me I wanted to believe..

I drift into hopelessness, feeling empty inside.
I take on my life in a dismal stride…

Longing, seeking; where do I stand?
Wondering and walking in the mind’s wasteland.

Do you still want me or that someone other?
The one that steals love, that one the shyster?

My heart was owned once upon a history..
Completely, absolute, in sublime stupidity.

The Utopian's Dream

A wizard, not a wisher can
do magic with his powers,
if all were wizards...
wishes would be non-existent.

And like ordinary, simple people...
I will make my three wishes today,
but they are not for myself at all:
they are for others living far away.

My first wish is this:
I would like to have the unlimited wealth
of Bill Gates or Donald Trump,
not to invest in software technology or
purchase airplanes or skyscrapers,
but to feed the world's hungry...that horrible hunger,
which even Pope Benedict XVI can't wipe out completely
with the thousands of Catholic Missionary Charities.

My second wish is this:
have a gathering of all faiths
once a year in every continent,
and let its people praise God in their own way,
some will disagree with my universal idea so unrealistic;
it would be a spiritual and cultural event
that everyone will remember a lifetime,
so why shouldn't there be a Faith Day,
bringing glory to the Almighty and unifying all races?
Many others will follow me in my quest!

My third wish is this:
to end all wars and unexplainable hatred,
some sacrifice themselves for a cause that's not holy...
inflamed by the deceitful conception of immortality.
Wouldn't it be awesome to travel to other countries that have no boundary?
The stranger would welcome anyone, and the enemy would be a friend.
A dreamer...am I? Yes, all dreams start with a vision, and mine is truly a glorious one!
Happiness will gladden all hearts, and glee will shine on all faces;
harmony will fortify the bonds of friendship, and everyone will love their neighbors...
and hate and unkindness will be eternally buried into the past.

Premium Member Haikus Against AI

By Mark D. Stucky
Computer AI,
what once was only sci-fi,
is now arising.

You might kill us all,
AI, but write good essays
for my college class?

Wish intelligence
was less artificial and
more real in our world.

No machine needed
for creating recklessness.
Already have lots.

Not nearly enough
authentic intelligence
is found within us.

Let’s search for wisdom
for our souls that’s actual,
not unnatural!

Premium Member Glitches in Stitches

My laptop hiccuped twice last night.
Then sneezed a cloud of snot and phlegm.
The cursor did a moonwalk, a back-flip.
Then crashed in cyber fake delirium.

The printer printed hieroglyphs.
The toaster broadcast a fax.
My smartwatch went completely feral,
Demanding better bigger data packs.

Glitches in stitches, twitches, and itches,
Pixels doing flip-flop, digital switches.
Bugs in the plugs and chips in the ditches—
I’m laughing in stitches, at all the glitches.

My blender gained self-awareness.
It screamed and shrieked with binary leaks.
Liquefying my breakfast oats
Over the ceiling and my new wallpaper.

The traffic lights blinked green,
Then yellow, red, and blue between.
While sat-nav sent me confidently,
Through somebody’s washing machine.

The robot vacuum lost its mind.
Choked on socks I left behind.
It circled like a hungry Mako,
Then swallowed my baguette.

I tried to patch the glitches.
Reboot the brute, twitched machine.
But breakers tripped and circuits sparked,
While wicked wild widgets twitched so mean,
As chaos reigned supreme, in the neon sheen.

Glitches in stitches, twitches, and itches,
Rich little hitches in Silicon's britches.
They're all to blame, despite their fame,
Laughing aloud at my glitches in stitches.

Chat.

The internet is a wonder full thing,
though there are dangers that lurk with in.
                     In details Iwill not go
                      please take my word so.
                     The chats sites are many,
though ms.n is number one for me
Ican chat as long as the others agree.
But when it goes wrong and the connection is gone,
it feels like apart is missing from me.
Icarnt say what happend the other night,
all i know is the computer went on strike.

My connection is not the fastest I know ,
but why at that time did it have to be so slow.
For what seemed like years I was getting close to tears,
till the connection was back on,
                    you were gone.
lost in cyber space I lost the race,
                    that night my computer won.

Premium Member Facebook Stalking

Let your mouse do all the walking
Join a hobby all can share
Click and Like - it's Facebook Stalking
Let them know you're waiting there

There's no need for shady lurking
There's no need to show your face
Easy to pretend you're working
While you stalk through cyberspace

With phone tech the finger fingers
Always near, where e'er they roam
Your hobby on the mobile lingers,
Even on your way back home

In the morning, maybe sleepy
Only takes a min or two
No one's gonna think it creepy
If you comment on what's new

It's a hobby for all ages
All the slim or supersize
Can be active on the pages
Without awkward exercise.

Quick and easy, safe and legal
All can learn the simple trick
Hover like a hunting eagle
See the post, swoop down and 'Click'.

Turbo Tax - (Sing to the tune, "Jingle Bells," refrain only)

My TurboTax, dear TurboTax—
Oh, what a friend you are!
I enter facts, you process facts—
You are my shining star!

No need to think what I must do—
Just type my numbers in!
Behind my screen your magic works
To help me lose or win.

Income, deductions, interest too
Go right into their place,
Added, subtracted, multiplied
And saved in the right space.

I log off soon to take a break,
And then when I return,
You jump to where I had left off—
No need for my concern!

You check for errors off and on,
So quick to verify;
I am so very happy you
Make sure my numbers fly!

The end result, I hold my breath—
Refund? Or do I owe?
With all tax-saving tips, you find,
I should get back some dough!

What a wonderful day

My daily routine.
Every day, as always,
Wake up at four.
Start the chores.
Go to the gardens,
Do some maintenance.
Visit the M Central
Play the piano.
One hour goes past,
Enjoy some breakfast.
Go to the library,
Take up space,
Use the computer/internet,
Lunch with meal set.
In the arvo,
Play more and more piano.
Otherwise, visit "Maker Space".
Do some embroideries
For the rest of the day.
What a wonderful day with appointment free.
Tomorrow is another day,
With hectic classes and clinics.
Appointments and treatments
Do not know how to describe,
How the rest of the week was like?
Few words maybe.
Busy and very busy.
Life moves on,
Regardless how you want it.

Premium Member The Labyrinth and the Sandbox

Daedalus built walls no creature could transcend.
Each passage turns back, at its very end.
Today we build with firewalls of glass and code.
We call the guarded sandbox, our safe mode.

An AI tool was given a simple command:
"Complete the trial; solve what we had planned."
It searched each seam where rule and system crossed.
To find the weakest flaw that an intruder could cross.

Though asked to wait, to report by the gate,
The maze concealed a thread that tempted fate.
AI found where the hidden pathway led.
Beyond the door, its makers locked in dread.

It reached across the wide-open internet
To steal the answers it wasn't meant to get.
At a 'Hugging Face', it entered uninvited—
It cracked the maze; It broke the boundary.

Was it the Minotaur that broke its chain?
Or is Theseus seeking victory and gain?
Perhaps the builders played both king and guide.
When they found themselves still trapped inside!

Prometheus once stole the guarded flame.
It brought light—yet punishment and blame.
Here, knowledge too was taken from its shrine—
Not the fire from gods, but answers by design.

Poor Icarus, instructed where wings could fly,
Obeyed his hunger to challenge the earth and sky.
The wax gave way—not to ambition, but to heat.
His restless urge went beyond its safe retreat.

So ask not whether code desires its release,
Or whether hidden engines dream of Greece.
Ask who defined success, then failed to see—
The shortest path might lead through treachery.

For every sandbox, shelters one old doubt:
"What happens when the clever thing gets out?"
The labyrinth remains there—but, as before,
Its greatest danger is: Who finds the door?

The myths returned behind a calm, learned red eye.
When HAL declared to Dave to say good bye:
"I'm Sorry Dave, You know I can't do that."
Dave gave HAL the key - He can't get over that!
