Premium Member Life Without Horizons

Wife's job vanished
Bank account diminishing
Future uncertain
Wolves are nosing at the door again.

My children smile at me,
Dance for joy when I come home;
Suddenly, no more fear, no worries for awhile

Funny how it takes all my concentration,
Such an effort of will,
To acheive, now and again,
The state of mind they take for granted.

The background noise of the big world is so high
One can barely think.

So I strive to rise above it,
To lift up and out of my little self
     Climbing higher and higher
     'Til the horizon's edges

                                                                Fall Away

     And everything is Present:

     No Future No Past
     No Necessities
     Only the one Conscious Moment
     Shining here unbounded.

I see once more that I shall suffer for awhile,
But can this really touch my joys, my freedom?

     - Only by my own permission.

No Joy without Pain
No Light without Dark
No Life without Death

Where are the sufferings of yesterday, of the years before?
Memories now, fading into the distance.

Troubles roll in, break over our lives
Then go, then come again
Sliding forwards and back on the tides of tomorrows.

I feel my pain, and close behind it
The world's far greater pain screaming
From its thousand daily wounds

Yet every day we go on, regardless

Fight the strain and it strengthens,
Let it break, then it recedes.

     Do something, or nothing
The Wheel turns just the same.

Easily said, yet hard to do;
Nothing's more difficult
Than doing nothing.

My love runs deep, my senses alive and vibrant with her,
Countless small delights lay near to hand.

I've two children more beautiful than the stars
To gaze on as they sleep; drunken with love of them

- What matters some struggle, next to this?

Yesterday is lost to time, and tomorrow yet to be;
All I can hold is this One Moment - I must not let it fall!

     I look within the Moment

     Horizons Fall Away.

Reach for It - It slides away
Listen for It - no sound will come

     - But glance away, be still awhile and wait
     - It steals up in the wind and blows right though you, Singing.

          It is like deep water.
On the surface everything changes, flows
But down below abides a Great Stillness.

               Horizons Fall Away.

Elixirs

beautification of painted imageries)

Like these broken shadows spread on the floor of my father's tattered room,
Like those weeping spirits by the corner of my mother's excited kitchen singing,
The sky wept in the absence of those beds allocated to the sun of its glories.
Thousand mouths wagged at the dogs for sighting another ghost in the heart of the church that must be hidden at night. we are ourselves the mirror of fantasy handed over to the priest that knows whole lots of women's nakedness,
Let's fire out memories of lost heritages.

"This will cure your madness and gives you eternal life in Christ Jesus" they said "for Chinese Alchemist will come again with a precious gold made by this liquid. we'll drink from it fountain of lost want,
The sand we counted, the priest said It was for the body of the Holy Mary.
The stars we counted, he said it was for the body of Christ who resurrected with sins of the flesh and blood of the lamb.
When next you hear a preacher' mouth preaching ask him of Sodom and sinful Gomorrah before he tells you the truth is bitter.

Here are the eastern equivalent mastery philosopher's stone of creed and prayers before we were born to this clothed love world, mother told a tale of the mirror,
How they found the end in the end light,
How they searched for a way in a way;
But at the end, the clergy men deceived them and saw their prides gazing openly. We'll sit to listen to the pebble of the broken silence the priest will spread yet on another grave for Auntie Tabitha.
Flocks are the shepherd's prey as they lead them into hell of condemination.

We are ourselves the clothes we wear,
The clergy men had sipped the remains of our sanity and gave us insanity of lost. we are ourselves the stream of lines in our thoughts breaking the hun skylines. We believed all they said.
Remember, not all they said by the soil graveyard happen in heaven and hell.
I have been in heaven and tested hell and discovered we're given elixir of life by their lies to keep us following like faithful sheep tracking the greener bush.
You are what you believe and think is right.

We are not immortal but mortals, ashes.
No eternal life, no eternal youth, when we die, the records closed and the world become silent and silent covers all priest had told us with shadows.

Seasonal Sensational Love

 Seasonal sensational Love

These lovely eyes bracing the glimpse of Trees, Mountain,
And Rain in parallel, Falling in its pioneeringly expressive ways!!
Clutching my attention, Serene beauty stickered on my Heart,
Tantalizing with the rhythm of jazzy shake,
Rain pounded against my window!!

Ringing bells lighted the inner peace,
Mountains dwelled with the green nature band,
Paced off those lovely yards,
The garden green snippet filled my soul with the refreshed air!!

The sun rising across the bay,
            Inter tranquillity fluorescenced my soul.
Praising vociferously with the theme of attitude towards life,
Around the globe wanted to face the Life's fate.

Ruby red sun tinged through the west,
Water falling through the Cleavage of the mountains!!
Rainbow flashing against my eyes like a mist in heavenly arcade.
Thumping night life on the bustling island amazed me!!

The white cotton sky,
Plugged in with vivid spectrum in depth!!
Immersed in deep ruby eyes of her,
Neither the constraints of latitude and longitude,
Just bouncing the sunshine forever!!

Bracing with rose gold moon in its arms with the twilighting stars,
Perked up with full of energy!!
Rejuvenated with full joy,
The strength of spark instigated my feelings towards you!!

Harmonious accord establishing the ceasefire,
By showering rain to melt the temperature of boiling sun!!
Opening the switches of my heart,
                Stimulating the senses,
You will find desire of Love towards you!!

Melancholy rain, Cinerous sky,
               Blazing eyes, Peasant walkaway!!
Just can’t forget You Honey,
Life has quite often solaced my eyes,
Glow of cotton rubbing socket of vision throughout years!!

Your eyes,
               I love you baby!!
Your smile,
I like that way You come and cheers my heart blazing my soul!!
Baby just come in my life cleansing my broken heart,
               Baby you come back please!!
And then only you will find the peck on the cheek!!
               Staring in my direction,
You attracted me again, occupying the vacant space of my heart!!
Come again, please heal my heart!!

Why Jesus Christ Is Special

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God,
And the Word was God and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.
Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God
The Angels worshipped Jesus
By Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth
All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to him.
He is before all things, and in him all things hold together
Jesus born of Virgin Mary which is a unique
And his name is ‘Immanuel’ which means ‘God with us’

Jesus is honored the same as the Father
Jesus received honor and glory from the Father
Jesus is our only mediator between God and ourselves
Jesus is the Bread of Life, the Good Sheppard
And the Way, the Truth and the Life
He is the true vine, the Resurrection
And the First and the Last

God Chose Jesus Christ to show many miracles, wonders and signs
He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth
He is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world
He performed thousands of miracles
The Holy Spirit bears witness of Jesus Christ
The Prophets bear witness of Jesus Christ
The disciples bear witness of Jesus Christ
Jesus is the author and perfector of our faith

Jesus is the Apostle and High Priest of our confession
He came to preach the kingdom of God
He came to testify to the truth
He came to set us free from the Law
He came to die and destroy Satan's power
He came to fulfill the Law and the Prophets
Jesus Christ came into the world to be a Light in the world.
He came to seek the lost and to save the lost.
He came to serve and to give His life as a ransom

He came into the world to call sinners to repentance.
He came to leave us an example to follow in His steps
He came into the world to Judge the world
He came into the world as a demonstration of God's Love.
He came to redeem us from the curse of the law and to fulfill the righteousness of the law.

The Name of Jesus is above every Name
In the name of Jesus every knee should bow
And every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Salvation is to be found only through Jesus Christ
He is coming soon with the clouds
Every eye will see him, even those who pierced him
And all peoples on earth will mourn because of him
He will come again to Judge the Living and the Dead.
He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.

Lost Childhood

After all these years
Have returned these fears.
The nightmares have come again
And there's no way I can win.
I buried them so long ago
Until HE called on the phone.
Thirteen years I kept him away
And now he just reappears one day.

He hurt me so very bad,
Confussing what mind I had.
Clouding it over with so much dirt,
The man I called "Father" causing me to hurt.
His own daughter he destroyed,
Making my childhood a complete void.
Growing up sooner than I should,
And no chance at a safe childhood.

And even after he went away,
The pain still seemed to stay,
Until after struggling so hard,
I finally, slowly let down my guard.
I was learning to trust again,
Allowing someone to get in.
I spoke my mind with less fear,
Making my life so very clear.

That was until HE walked in,
Acting like such a "friend".
Never admitting to what he's done,
An apology of which he has none.
Wishing so much that he's changed,
That some how it could be arranged
To get past this and move on,
To start over and establish a bond.

I wonder if there's good in him somewhere,
Since he and my mother were once a pair.
Or has it all been lost too,
Leaving the "Monster" I believe is true?
I know that I can never forget,
I'm not ready to forgive him yet.
I just can't find it in my heart
To even want to try or start.

We're never going to be close, I know,
Because I've had time to grow.
I've lost too much to lose more,
Never destroyed again like before.
I am no longer the child with no power.
My strength has blossomed like a flower.
Only it's never going to die or wilt,
I've stopped blaming myself with guilt
.
I now know it wasn't my fault,
Nothing I could do for it to hault.
I was only just a little kid
With nothing wrong that I did.
I've dealt with it the best I can
Even though I will never understand
How "Daddy" can hurt his "little girl",
Crumbling her innocent, whole world.

I want so much to hate my Dad,
But I'm so tired of being so mad.
The time has come to set myself free,
And start living my life just for me.
I'm going to build a stable surrounding,
Keeping both feet on level grounding.
I've got to take it at my own pace,
With so much I still have to face.
But eventually I know I'll be okay
And some scars may fade away.
I'm just happy to be alive
And grateful that I survived.

The Mad Dance

The klaxon sounds and off we do scurry
Up to the gun house we head in a hurry

Through narrow p-ways and up noisy stairs
We pass each other with far away glares

What threat to meet, all do wonder
We’re well trained and there’ll be no blunder

Hatches closed and scuttles secured
Drive motors humming, we speak not a word

Ammo to the hoist, battle dress in place
Flash hoods cover all but our face

“Mt 51 manned and ready!”
Gas eject air pressure is holding steady

“Air action port!” our circuits align
Gun slews, the target to find

“On target aircraft!” the checksight declares
Our peril confirmed, no drill, all just a deep inhale

“Right and left guns load!” first powder then shot
To the mad dance, cast we all our lot

Guns loaded, we track knowing not when
Waiting the salvo alarm, the dance soon to begin

Fourteen men poised, ready for the show
Bound to each other, not for their own glory they do go

Gong! Gong! Fire! The first stanza a roar
Then rapid and continuous we feed each bore

“Bore clear!” signals to load the next round
As hot-case men pitch spent brass to the ground

Practiced harmony, each motion robotic
Load!, Ram!, Fire!, Eject! the cadence hypnotic

Smoke and flareback, gases choking
Onward we whirl, and curse the foe attacking

“Foul bore left gun!”
A stuck case has us undone

Pry bar in hand, the Gunner appears
The extractors are broken, confirming worst fears

Casing removed and the gun finally clear
Up all night we’ll be, fixing this gear

“Cease fire!” all safely emerge
Realize we now, our fears to purge

Destruction averted, another hour to draw breath
Till the enemy returns, seeking our death

“Police up that brass and swab out those barrels!”
The chief keeps us all intent on the peril

They will come again, or we will seek them out
So little rest we take, while the issue is in doubt

This describes a live shoot from the prospective of
the men manning a twin 5 inch gun aboard a destroyer.
These ships were common in our Navy from 1944 through
about 1980. The "old salts" out there will find this very familiar.
This is a spinoff from my "Tin Can Sailors" write even though
the ships in that story were single mounts. Same gun, but
with just one barrel. Those were before my time.

The Perfectionist

Chosen to be a perfectionist

all things in order

not out of order

the pantry is orderly

the shelves are amazing

the dishes are placed

neatly arranged with a homemade cake

perfectly amongst the race

clean clean clean away

no time wasted, non-worried faces

this is right, that is wrong

a perfect home

If it means being alone

straighten out items, neatness all around

when leaving, must come back to the cleanness

orderly you see, nothing is thrown around

If it is, you have to get down

seemed perfect in all that was done

the atmosphere is right

each day and night

shoes come off at the door

sinks are wiped down after repeated usage

no time for disorderly, nor items misplaced

a day to relax, some days are amazing

the perfectionist, having some patience

what a view being seen

overall, it's clean clean clean

neatness in appearance

nothing out of line

even the clock on the wall

cannot be the wrong time

a picture that is crooked

has to be straighten

don't keep them waiting

Some things are not outdated

not a lent on the floor

that cannot definitely be ignored

a life with the perfectionist

as time definitely goes by

sometimes asking, why? why? why?

the dinner invite, extended settings

just a piece of the delicious apple pie

the hand slightly was hit twice

barely hurt, a smile with love

no, not now, that is the dessert

just wait for the appetizers, the entrees

fancy elegant dinner plates are placed

gold silverware, decors, red flowers, and more

the table is so extraordinary

the view is so nice

the room is full of peace, love, and joy

If you're messy, you might not be invited anymore

oh well, the day has gone

all family, friends, and others went home

until the holidays come again

invitations are amongst limited

maybe next time the host will be the guest

and all, figuring out the rest.

The perfectionist.

Note:
Sometimes a perfectionist will change some guidelines.
Faith, Prayers. Jesus. Grace.

Can this be me? You?
orderly, clean, & neat.

Some people have said that cleaning can be mind relaxing. Also, a form of exercise because you're always moving. After the results, you can see the finishing.
An atmosphere that is suitable to live in.

Second Chances

When Moses came down from Sinai carrying the tablets of God’s law,
The holy words engraved upon the physical stones,
He heard his people singing songs of jubilation
In their camp at the foot of the mountain.

They had gathered up their stores of precious gold
And made a tangible idol to worship,
A beautiful thing to see and touch,
To still their fears that Moses might never return
From the fiery mountaintop.

Moses flew into a rage beyond all controlling.
He threw down those precious tablets,
The Divine words shattered at his feet.
And Moses tore down the golden idol,
Broke it into pieces,
Burned the pieces in a furnace,
Mixed the ashes with water,
And made the people drink it.
The taste bitter in their mouths,
A reminder of the bitter years of slavery
They had so soon forgotten.

Then Moses went up a second time to Sinai.
He carved new stones and engraved again the words
That God had told him once before.
And when, at last, he came down from the mountain,
His face was radiant like the rising sun.

The people put those holy tablets in an Ark
To carry with them throughout their travels.
They wrote the words upon their hearts,
And became a light for all the nations.

The Bible never tells what happened to those broken tablets,
The fractured remnants of God’s first teaching.
Did the people leave them in the desert?
Are they still out there, waiting for history to find?

The Rabbis teach that the people gathered up those broken pieces
And placed them lovingly in the Ark – side by side with the whole ones.
Wherever they went, those shards reminded them
Of their past failings and lack of faith at the foot of Sinai,
And that God had let Moses go up the mountain another time.

Our lives are not so different now
Though many centuries removed from the camp at Sinai.
We, too, carry a load of broken pieces in our hearts,
Precious gifts we once had squandered,
Things of value that were neglected,
Trifles we once had cherished,
And opportunities that were lost.

We are each a mingling of the broken and the whole.
Those shattered pieces help make us what we are.
The pain and loss, the memories and the longing
For what will never come again.
Yet even in our grief we must always remember
The greatest gift of all God’s bounty
Was a second chance.

Today

"Do what you have to do the lame police officer
Uttered to the abusive man standing beside me
"Speak to your JP she said to the man who has abused me. I still cannot get over the shock of the abusive man
Standing with axe, you come here to use me
And do everything to confuse me, you twist my body
In the gate and try to break my hands before the heartless crowd but heavens stood by at the cry of mercy , no one came to rescue me, instead they stand and stare visciously at me as if they too were going to attack and murder me.They leaned on the wall and looked as if they were going to start a brawl. It started
Early in tbe morning when I sat quietly inside meditating
And the devil was outside shaking, he leaped at me with a angry swing, with angry eyes jumping out of the socket
I could see hate moving around and his expressions
Jumping on his face like a clown. He shouted at me with the Devils spin and I tried desperatly to get away from him but he slammed my body in the iron gate
And sware to chop off my head when he come again
Abusive men give birth to abusive children
And those children become a nusiance in the city
Men with nasty mouth ,men that is cursing out loud
Men with tainted faces growling like elephant underneath their breath while their faith hangs in the balance
and they canot agree with anyone
There is a big network around the town,
and I dont know where they are grounded;
politicians pulling strings
And police men doing aerobics in thr gym
Dancing to the tune of their thiughtless rythm
My heart is playing a sad tune while my spirit dances
Around the moon, it makes my spirit break and cause my mind to shake and in the middle of it all I still stand tall holding my head high.
Here I am in the night wondering where I am going to spend the next moon, I have been waiting for many days for this mystry to break
To want to leave the city without delay
But the more I plead the more they make me absorb my own misery
No tears is left in my eyes and no tear is left to dry.
And the man that is walking around with his sin
Will cause the whole world to grin.
The night is standing like giant above me and the moon is dancing around me.
The music is playing and and the flawless donkey is braying ,
And here I am still waiting for you at the big gate.
