Premium Member They Hate the Color Black

They, the blind
Heavy laden with mystery of denial
Empty of eclectic views
Yearns for Island of blinding white light.

They hate the color black
Every woman's sexy black dress
Every man's spotless black tuxedo
Every child's mem'ry of a clean blackboard.

They hate the color black
Black American history, mighty as Montenegro
Bleach cannot blot out its strength.

They hate the color black
Face the Sun!
Hold a conversation on equatorial black
Black rain clouds cleansing, hydrating, renewing.

They hate the color black
Black, the night, showing starlight
Black ink on sheets of white
Black the beginning and end of life -
They hate the color black.

Premium Member Trinity of Love, Wisdom and Power

In meditation I let go of ego,
to transcend this realm of my earthly life;
I seek awareness of my higher self,
and go deeper into a higher universe.
I open myself to the flame of Christ consciousness,
letting go I embrace love, wisdom, and power !

This threefold trinity flame will bring me self discovery,
it will bring essence to my core, my character;
love will flow, wisdom will penetrate,
power will be my gift, my bliss and my delight.
I must purge my mind within of earthly cares,
then, Christ consciousness can dwell in my high state!

No preconceived ways will clutter my mind,
only awareness of my higher purpose and the next realm;
will die with this Christ consciousness flame that I have nurtured,
perhaps to be reincarnated into a more mindful, aware being.
This is the path to enlightenment and of higher universe,
and cleansing of soul will invite the threefold flame to dwell !

Graceful lights pouring over
Dew covered petals
Gentle as a caress, kissing the spirit
With inspiration and serenity
Joy that comes from knowing a blessing
Has fallen from heaven’s realms
Calling to the soul, a breath
Of insight, hope, imagination that feeds
Glorious compassion through
The whispering wings of angel’s dreams

Lithe, flowing colors in hues
Of miracles, creativity
Polished like stones in a stream
Where liquid smooths edges
With the purity of clear, cool waters
Wistful and precious, laughing
Luminosities, sighs of wonder
Famous for the cleansing sensations
Refining praises that soften
Hearts with whispering wings pulsing
In the veins of a chastity

Glimmers of marvelously twinkling
Stars in the night sky, sapphires
Praising the One who made the very heights
The depths and widths and purposes
Of a passion filled with shadows
Tones of hope shimmering on brilliant
Forever, fighting to glow
Like the whispering wings of fireflies
On a pitch-black night darkness
Free on the evening breath
Of inspiration riding a sensation
Joy like music, songs of grace
Praising the One who knows our hearts
And shines His love into our souls

Quiet Waters

Streams of blue fluid
Flows downward
As fragile carcasses decay
Without a peep of a sound

We’re in the brink of disaster…

Who invited such fear and anguish?
Who could lead us to quiet waters?

We bleed…
Polluting the waters below us…
Trickling down the mountain
To our filthy feet…

Cleansing the sin off of our skin
But, it’s tangled from deep within…

The eeriness breaks
The hearts of a thousand strangers
They all fall away powerlessly…
Into the chambers of death

Danger is lurking in every corner…
Pursuing its evil plans
To cut down our hopes…
Growing like crops…
Rising rapidly –
It never stops

Dreams of misfortune still
Rapes our minds,
Plaguing our happiness…
Consuming the darkness…

We’re sprawling on the ground…
We’re crawling like infants…
Veering briskly like serpents…

Who will set our souls free
From suppression?

Who will preserve our hearts?
Don’t prey upon our
Guiltless lives…
We’re in complete agony…
Does He consider
Our prayers
Of support and nourishment?

We scream…
Breaking the repulsive solitude…

Encourage us to keep on
Trekking toward Your light

Where’s Your path?

You rinse off all of the sorrow
Giving us a ecstatic tomorrow

The weeping ceases…
While the corpses
Tear into
Blood-spattered
Pieces…

The faith of a couple of people
Strengthens us…keeps us motivated…
Not captivated…
In misery…
We’re reaping our
Ecstasy…
Leading us to peace and fortune
Keeping us accustomed
To Your purifying spirit…
Keeping us away from
Calamity…

We’re hungry…
Our demise is close at hand…
Closing in on us abruptly
Like an obscure cave…

Rescue us from affliction –
Embracing downhearted clouds…

Those wretched clouds…

Brought us rain when we asked for bread…

Those merciless clouds…

Spewed out scorching fire when we asked for relief…

Remember our supplications…
Appalling lightning’s daring to strike us
Out of cruel vengeance
Out of sheer amusement

Don’t even attempt to weaken us
We’re blossoming in joy…
We’re under cover…
You can’t manipulate us
Like a subtle toy

We’re praying for
Quiet waters

Offer the deceased
A second chance

Don’t disown
Our broken lives

We’re not alone…

We’re just waiting until
The quiet, glistening waters
Gratefully arrives…

Premium Member I Found My Way

I found my way through trauma and tragic days
I found my way through deep pain and many losses
Life went up and down from mountain tops to ravines
Sometimes feelings were falling from me, like waterfalls
Ongoing, but clear always moving, in a cleansing way
I found my way through danger when life was unsafe
Whether I had to move a lot, I saw beauty in new places
I found my way with determination to be who I am freely
--- To pursue everything I believe in ---
I wish the same for you, in the darkest of moments to be
I wish the same for you, with everything that I can see

Premium Member THE ROSE BUSH MASSACRE

“A fool sees not the same tree
 that a wise man sees
which moves some to tears of joy
is in the others only a green thing
 that stands in the way.”
 William Blake

Brutal cruel and ignorant
Barbaric really
That stupid woman
Who chopped the flowering rose bushes
Down to one-foot stumps
Because their petals littered the common driveway
And she had no time to clean up after them
She thought they were her disobedient children
She a self appointed cleaner
No gardener of our common garden drive
With no knowledge of gardening children or cleanliness
She spends all her time sterilizing her house
And drying her badly washed laundry
In the unwilling air of the rolling Tuscan hills
This is what we are dealing with
Un- trainable un-teachable blindness
Beasts who massacre deface and pollute
the blessedness of this world unseen
unknown unknowable
The dignity of the non-human world
Assaulted by creatures from hell
Destroyed without compunction

Without any moral consideration
I hear the roses screaming in my sleep
But it’s too late
They will no longer be flourishing
We have come too far
There is no hope left
We can only wait
For the world to be truly cleansed

Premium Member My God, Thank You For Purging My Sins

December 2 Scripture Meditations Based on Hebrews 1-2

Key Verse – Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR PURGING MY SINS

Thank You for purging my sins of carnal wickedness
With Your sanctifying forgiveness
Along redemption-holiness
For my soul’s eternal righteousness.

Thank You for purging my sins of grievous iniquity
With Your cleansing intensity
Along salvation-certainty
For my heart’s holy security.

Thank You for purging my sins of stubborn transgression
With Your purifying correction
Along discipline-compassion
For my character’s divine transformation.

Thank You for purging my sins of worldly defilement
With Your pardoning enablement
Along power-endowment
For my ministry’s effective enhancement.

Thank You for purging my sins of shameful arrogance
With Your humbling deliverance
Along meekness-performance
For my mind’s sincere repentance.

Thank You for purging my sins of deliberate disobedience
With Your chastising resilience
Along conversion-influence
For my willingness’ fruitful experience.

Thank You for purging my sins of human error
With Your refining fervor
Along dignity-honor
For my testimony’s fruitful ardor.

Premium Member Persephone -Stay the Course

I talk to the sky, but the sky is empty
I tread the path, yet it twists and turns,
Seeking solace from the wreckage of shattered dreams,
Is there no one to be my anchor in this tempestuous sea?

I talk to the sky, but the sky is empty,
Empty,
Empty.
Will no one stay the course?

An anchor in the stormy ocean,
A tranquil shore with my name etched in the sands of time,
I have witnessed the rain,
Hissing as it strikes my rusted roof,
Exposing my soul to the elements,
Threatening to wash me away,
Perhaps cleansing my sins first.

I converse with the birds, but they echo only despair,
Like Persephone, bound to her fate,
I speak to the spiders,
But they weave webs of deceit,
Paranoia creeps,
Seeping into the madness within,
Ever-present, like a beast lurking in the shadows.

Will no one stay the course?

My mind is no plaything,
My heart not a carnival ride,
Yet I have been toyed with,
Breaking all the rules,
Lost at the crossroads of destiny.

I walk the path, but it is never smooth,
Addicted to the chemicals in my brain,
Though they are the source of my torment,
Like the hunchback in his bell tower,
Deformed by the weight of the world,
Crushed by the pressure of my own mind.

My mind is no plaything,
my heart not a carnival ride.
Will no one stay the course,
Be the voice from the heavens,
To assure me I will not sail the sea of destiny alone?

I talk to the sky, but the sky is empty,
empty,
empty.

Tub

Love,

I want it to pour all over me.

Instead

Here I lay,
exposed, vulnerable, embittered
               NAKED
 locked away from the world
In my bathtub
Closing my eyes, before the water pours over my head.
Inhaling before the water envelops me
Toes curling the porcelain edge
Wondering,
Do I even have it in me again?

To love, to open yourself up,
 to the great above.
Can you really wash away, and forget, all your past dismay?

Should I let in Love?
The kind that
would pour all over me,
Like the
cat who stretches out, unafraid.
Purring, drinking in, the golden sunbeam it calls home.

Love,

The kind that cascades
Through my hair, gracefully trickling over my eyes.
Dripping down the nape of my neck,
Kissing my chest
Making me sigh.
The comfortable kind, where you can just be.
Be yourself,
SIMPLY happy.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
If I could just freeze frame this moment,
and it would be real.

Not just fleeting, you know when the water just ends up being cold. Making you shiver.

But no,
I want to feel real LOVE, pour into my heart,
lifting me up, bringing out the best in me
Cleansing my soul.
For, I do not wish to be this bitter girl anymore.
LOVE

Drip,
Drip
Drip
Drop
Your thoughts, grow intensely
when your thinking deeply about troublesome Love.
Sooner or later the bubbles in the bath pop,
And you realize, no matter what enough will never be enough
and you haven't given up.

There is a point, where you just have to know when to get right back into the tub. Just
lean back, and close your eyes. Let the steam rise. Feel your hair stick to your face,
just have faith. That love will pour all over you,

If you are not afraid.

Love is a journey, love is a surprise, love is heartache, and love is divine.

                                    Light Shines In Total Darkness

A moment in time where love should leave
                           when incompatibility muddy crystal waters
dissolves a tie that binds divine connection
widens the abyss as dream loudly shatters

Down on my knees I begged for a reprieve
gazes polarizing for to her nothing matters
in locked cages lay vestiges of desperation
intimacy now in tatters mutated to cinders

Aged moon will not commiserate then give
nebulous promises to stop onrushing tears
nor rays to light the path toward contrition
and turtle doves waving wings that glitters

Weary eyes reaching for salvation perceive
apparitions raising me up to alleviate fears
cleansing this heart throbbing in exultation
as grass springs anew...while grief withers.
