Super stud
Enjoyed life with many lovely buds
Watched the angry surf
Feeling the need to protect his turf
When all of a sudden Ma Bell did ring
And his dear old friend Win was...

And the Wisdom of a Pin Cushion Equals
Castrated duck ran amok at a goose show yesterday. Then sat in a car. Blacked out to the par. An even score is a self wondering sacrifice. But no self sacrificing prawn could ever really...

Ride Over Four Billion Mountains On a Baking Tray
Ride over 4000000000 mountains on a baked tray

Times a tide,
Divide a ride,
Equal to no one is the writhe of a sprite,
In a whirl of a rotating rhombus,
Is the real

The reality of an equilateral is the...

And That's Ok
and some days sitting, looking out of the
open door, to the tropical sunlit yard,
feels like being in a Goddam tomb;
but when the long-haired girls walk by
and smile that smile, everything looks
better and...

Bushes
Over ten worms then? In coats. Goggles? Flight then. Huge paper bees. Altitude 4 on curvatures rattling over the field, fauna and hedgerows. Boom boom boom beasts coming. Mooooving across the territory pulling dragging. When old...

Travestational
The nucleus of a pin cushion is akin to the internal mechanisms of a sausage. A big massive drama but don't tell Dalai Lamar and the turtle doves will sing and swing in the breeze....

I REMEMBER (1)

Candles & nightlights
   flickering bright
blackout curtains
    shutting out light

Dripping setting
   from Sunday's roast
spread  thick
on Monday's toast

Paper chains
    cut and glued
beer in glass
     bottles brewed
Christmas puddings
   with threepenny bits
 Meccano kits
     made to fit

Sunday school outings
      upto Coombe hill
my first ever train ride
         so quite a thrill
Summer walks
    to the Bugle Horn
crisps & lemonade
     upon their lawn
A weekly soak
  ..in a round tin bath
towelling off
by a fire in the hearth

I REMEMBER (2)
afterschool
on a
          tuesday
  my treat
   awaiting on gran's
baking tray

a spicy aroma
  filled
the air
 t'was
  freshly baked-
my
 weekly share

bread pudding
piping hot
   drizzled with honey
moreish&
          yummy
a moist mouth
 watering
             confection
in
a
 sultana delectation

I REMEMBER (3)
my clerking
ever on the go
the junior
   lowest
                of the low

the office
 with  partners just two
pens   pencils
  nearly-new
daily drudgery
  reality soon shone thru'

the 'old man ' yelling
      'ere lad
  chop chop
get me baccy
   from t'corner shop

 tea-break brews'
                   in a stew
bellows of hurry-hurry
from  the back-office crew

another  task
       to get done
this time
   for the partner's son
    no time to stop &chat
  he'd forgotten the fish
          for his wife's cat

    the switchboard clicked
           the doorbell chimed
&
skills to learn
  juggle & prioritise

whew!
    nearly half five
&  knock-off time

    just one task
still to do
fetch the 'boss's
  evening  news

  was this really
           the career    to choose?...

We Don'T Trust Them
We don’t trust them.
Those giants who rule the Earth;
those fallen ones who stole our dominion.

We don’t trust them.
Those royal descendants of “gods”;
those of the divine blood line.

Why should we trust them?
They live in castles even...

Cup of Tea Dear
Tumble the marble blue and green,
quarter and three read hue manatee,
tea wistfully crusted in the wind blow.

Apple cherry and pineapple, all good,
delicious and decadent in flavor sips,
careful dear there’s, something, lips…

Mirror here you seem to...

He assembled in darkness the corroded horn
by familiarity and sense of touch.
Then cast as thunder into the empty night
long tones void of musical melody.
Sustained tones, fierce and woeful
in succession paraded the street.
Each note precisely chosen,...

Thin Walls
Mallory Hicksby
lived all alone in the basement
of the Bates Hotel

Each night he could hear
Norman and his mother arguing
through the thin walls that had an off-color smell

He lived all alone
He was just a lonely person,
someone who...

Testudo Anima
I flew over a vastness of sand,
ancient ocean withdrawn,
dessicated desert,
neither eternal nor pathetic,
snow dusted, the foot of the Hindu Kush,
even now,
as we humans,
such knotted desperate pieces of work,
loving disorder,
our root cause of violence,
livid hatred for...

Embroiled
You’re feeling so uncomfortably

embroiled in hot controversy
Heated debates swirling all around you,
as your deep-fried life
jumps from the frying pan to the boiling pot
Wiping the sweat off your brow,
	standing before the microphones...

I hear him knocking.
No matter. I will not let him in.

better that it’s not my siding.

the woodpecker stays off the periphery.
His sound inviting, but...
