ASK THIS QUESTION DOES IT RAIN IN HELL---
Often times I’m reminded of myself;
I am just a vapor a soul/spirit breath;
Now I must get over it;
Must be held accountable of all of this;
What is it?
Seems like I’ll live forever;
Seems like I’ll never die:
Seems like my virtues are predestinated;
Often times I cry
Though the tears in my eyes come flowing down;
Sobbing sweat of my brow, tears continue to fall to the ground;
What is it?
A rebellion, a chastisement, punishment for all my wrongs;
Angels with harps high pitch-voices singing along;
Now I must get over it;
I am beholding to it;
Married to my sins and shame;
And in my divorcement, my choice is sent;
Seems like my virtues are predestinated;
Often times I cry
Seems like I’ll live forever;
Seems like I’ll never die:
Seems like my virtues are predestinated;
I AM DEAD my breath is gone I’ve closed my eyes;

Woman, I heard you
crying
whimpering like an
abandoned puppy
behind the bedroom door
and my
compassionate heart
broke in two.
The mighty hands
that had inflicted
chronic pain
now distorted
arthritic, useless
disabled weapons
...lifeless duds,
yet throbbing
mercilessly.
Knuckles swollen
as big as macadamia
nuts, fingers
warped
like barbwire,
no ass whipping
no pinching of flesh
no goose-eggs today.
I watched your
mouth twist
in agony
no words
could come out
no chastisement,
no derogatory remarks
for my little ears today.
Just look at the
deeply furrowed brow...
So pitiful, so wretched
tell me, did those tears
burn like acid
down those
bitter, cold cheeks?
I take no pleasure
in your affliction but,
woman man-up,
sister and I bore
the daily, horrid brunt
of your despicable
miserable life.
And please, please,
I plead
don't beg
for the doctors!
let us heal
just for one day
let us experience
being happy
children
just for one day,
we all know
this arthritic pain
is bloody temporary and,
unfortunate for sis and I,
hell's door is weld shut.
I was screaming....! Help me
Jesus! Help me Jesus. My life was
ebbing away. The two wires
sunk into my fingers, sparkling
and draining me dry! An itching
surge ran through my veins. I
felt so lifeless, I have never felt
like that before.
The currents hung unto me
when I was about separating
the wires from touching, the
man at the generator ignited it
at the moment and that was it!
I could not be saved, nobody
was ready to snatch me away
from the fangs of death but then
I heard mother scream and feel
her thud as she rushed towards
a dying me. She cared not to die,
she pulled with every force in
her and saved me.
I have ever nurtured the fact
that she loves me not because of
her constant chastisement but I
know that day the worth of my
mother.
She stood by my bedside and
prayed for my relief. The truth is,
in my heart, she's more than
gold.
August 10 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Isaiah 59-63
Key Verse – Isaiah 59:1 Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear.
FAITH IN GOD WHOSE HAND REACHES OUT TO US
God’s hand reaches out to us midst His compassion
As He draws us near Him against sin guilt’s oppression
In our honest repentance and sincere confession
By our faith’s dependence on His pardon’s provision.
God’s hand reaches out to us midst His care
As He heals us from sickness of distress-stare
In our prayer while our needs, we completely bare
By our faith’s reliance on His grant for our welfare.
God’s hand reaches out to us midst His comfort
As He dries our tears of crying retort
In our discouragement because of evil report
By our faith’s trust in His precepts that exhort.
God’s hand reaches out to us midst His cleansing
As He forgives us our admission against cursing
In our humble plea for sanctification’s blessing
By our faith’s surrender to His gentle pressing.
God’s hand reaches out to us midst His correction’s chastisement
As He disciplines us for our disobedience toward our betterment
In our acceptance of His rebukes for our virtuous deportment
By our faith’s perseverance along His empowerment.
God’s hand reaches out to us midst His courage
As He strengthens us for our stewardship-advantage
In our diligence to serve Him by His goodness-package
By our faith’s continuous performance despite attacking rampage.
God’s hand reaches out to us midst His counsel
As He teaches us His standards despite carnality’s hassle
In our learning of Bible principles midst worldliness-bustle
By our faith’s adherence to His immutable epistle.

To die an old man, tasks left on slow burn,
And as fake coins do, get reborn ‘pon earth;
Work harder still, more mileage points to earn,
Which, heaven calls goodly deeds well their worth,
To repeat none of careless omissions,
Careful avoiding sinful commissions,
Grow up again and relearn things ere learnt,
Suffer old age again, same helplessness,
Begin and end with diapers no less,
Same hassles of life, oh what a huge stunt!
And yet, there are welcome blessings to fore:
Mother's love— not else in life be so good,
Worth returning to earth often and more,
Another, innocence of the childhood,
And its older version— second childhood,
For small joys, pleasures, life's trinkets so rife,
And that hard lesson learnt in adulthood
That true joys come from trivial things of life.
For sure, this journey of life has odd rules,
Where humans are handed worse punishment—
Being treated no better than draught mules
That must learn things learnt ere— in chastisement,
The karmic fate— there's no meaner kill-joy,
But is not life God's play-act to enjoy?
And still I'd feel, life comes with mixed blessings,
Like coins it comes with two sides: joy and strife,
One may call it tyranny of this life,
Of destiny that in a dual voice sings.
And poor man, whether he likes it or not,
Must empty ere refill his karmic pot!
And still, I love you O life, fall or spring,
I like this journey, pray keep me calling. ……

Musings | 03.07.16 | Ode
Poet’s note: This first part of the Ode starts with ten lines in the first stanza. Every stanza progressively loses two lines, ending with a pair of couplets. For, each lifespan is supposed to reduce the journey of evolution that ends with Liberation. But as this poem seems in love with life, it continues and carries on.

Key Verse – 1Kings 12:24 Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word of the LORD, and returned to depart, according to the word of the LORD.

HEARKEN TO THE WORD OF THE LORD
Praise be to God for letting us hearken to the Word of the Lord:

I've often felt quite helpless..Although i would fight hard, against the ocean of life
With its often; errant strong surging tides.'
In twenty twenty five we saw Los Angeles
Besieged; many areas were set ablaze; a great
City upon its knees.' The factor of bad
management of water not held in the
Ammount, that would really be needed
when on it; services had to count.' Also the
Arsonists did their job, a nasty crew indeed
I like others felt asized, of the helplessnes
As the Santa Annas careened.' No respite
Came the news reports, I saw many people
Had died.' I sensed defeat and could
almost taste the charcoal, it was fraught
; and yes I felt a tear in
My eye.. Yet all at once I thought of
God.? who was bigger than any disaster..I said a prayer then put up a blog, and requested prayers to 'the only Master' others joined and but a day and night.? A sea mist rose and rolled in early light.' Then on this improvement rain arrived..The
worst danger over and the remenant survived..'
Now i arrive at year twenty twenty six..A similar tale..My stomach felt sick twenty eight fires in
Victoria my 'home State' hit Again not
Accidents all.. A lot i'd guess were lit.? I decided to ask the Lord again, wondering would He
Have mercy this second time my friends?
All un-worthy i appealled for help.' Others
Answered, i continued and hoped.. For betters trends, again
Weather reports said no respite maybe dry
Lightening ( would more evil arrive? ) another day past I checked the news.' The
First I read was disaster.' My heart went to
My shoes..So my prayers were unaswered.'
Still i decided to look.' To face my chastisement and repent by the Book..Then I was shocked it was all turned
Around He had flooded out the fires people
Were heading for higher ground,
All Praise throughout the heavens all thanks to my friends..Who with me had enjoined..And we saw Himself His Name defend.'
April 4 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on 1Samuel 28-31
Key Verse – 1Samuel 30:6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.
HEART THAT ABIDES IN THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE LORD
Our heart abides in the encouragement of the Lord with His assistance
Along His pardon, marked by redemption’s inheritance
Surely handling us well despite our pride’s resistance
And self-exalted feeling of esteemed importance.
Our heart abides in the encouragement of the Lord with His aid
Along His mercies that never fade
Surely upholding us despite our sinfulness, foolishly-made
And annoying guilt of restlessness’ raid.
Our heart abides in the encouragement of the Lord with His commitment
Along His grace-fulfillment
Surely seeking us despite our worried sentiment
And frustrated spirit of agonizing predicament.
Our heart abides in the encouragement of the Lord with His compassion
Along His wise supervision
Surely securing us despite our confusion
And wavering faith due to doubts’ oppression.
Our heart abides in the encouragement of the Lord with His access
Along His chastisement of care’s success
Surely reaching out to us despite our stubbornness-caused curses
And obvious disobedience of rebelliousness’ traces.
Our heart abides in the encouragement of the Lord with His anchor
Along His fellowship’s succor
Surely propping us up despite our bitterness-rancor
And destructive envy of jealousy’s decor.
Our heart abides in the encouragement of the Lord with His leadership
Along His offered ministry-partnership
Surely helping us despite our lack of devotion in our relationship
And faltering enthusiasm for stewardship as well as discipleship.
