Our heart turns to the Lord from idols --- with all our best
Since we have seen His compassion, along His loving care’s zest
As well as His provisions against crises-test…
Let us stay in His will where we should thank Him, indeed blest.
Our heart turns to the Lord from idols --- with all our soul
Since we have known His kindness in making us whole
As well as His hands along supreme life-building role…
Let us dwell in His plan where we should pursue heavenly goal.
Our heart turns to the Lord from idols --- with all our might
Since we have beheld His grace with His wisdom-light
As well as His arm along stretched-out reaching-height…
Let us come in His fellowship where we should worship with delight.
Our heart turns to the Lord from idols --- with all our devotion
Since we have experienced His salvation of peaceful satisfaction
As well as His miracles along life-beautifying transformation…
Let us abide in His purpose where we should serve Him despite persecution.
Our heart turns to the Lord from idols --- with all our ability
Since we have received His blessings in the midst of scarcity
As well as His approval along favour of stewardship certainty…
Let us reside in His promises where we should walk by faith’s reality.
Our heart turns to the Lord from idols --- with all our involvement
Since we have learned of His judgment against discontentment
As well as His chastisement along sin-pardon’s fulfillment…
Let us live in His presence where we should hear His encouragement.
Our heart turns to the Lord from idols --- with all our zeal
Since we have affirmed His trustworthiness of great deal
As well as His inspiration along Scriptural seal…
Let us remain in His might where we should see His miracles so real.
