Yes. Call me that girl, a nostalgia junkie.
On the stove simmers a childhood favorite.
Popcorn, an 80’s movie, and pajamas.
Is anything more comforting?
At a flea market ‘Star Wars’ memorabilia,
so much and all I want is to buy it all.
Man, where did that time go?
A band celebrating a classic’s anniversary,
you hit repeat and sing all the words.
How do I remember every lyric
and not what I went into the next room for?
I’m the woman who keeps the little things.
Ticket stubs, confetti, that mini golf card.
My shadow box is filled with memories.
Taking that childhood dish off the stove
brings back what was unknowingly missing.
You found that piece with the very first bite.
A nostalgia junkie? Yes, call me that girl.

ARETHA - the legion
I woke up this morning with Aretha on my mind
one of the greatest singers of our time.
she started singing at a very young age
inspiring people while on stage
every song that she would sing
to many people ' tears " she'd bring.
her life will forever be told cause
she was born with a heart of gold.
at her concerts the crowds would scream and shout
till the moment she opened her mouth.
then she would pick up the Mic as ' RESPECT'
took to flight.
then she sang ' I SAY A LITTLE PRAYER "
as her voice filled the air.
her 2014 concert at the white house
gave president OBAMA chills and his spouse
when she sang Amazing Grace as the tears
rolled down her face.
( she was one of the best selling female artist in history
- with 15 million records sold worldwide )
SLEEP WELL MY SISTER
the music plays
our feet tap dance
to the rhythm we sway
ego fades in playful dalliance
lovers with hearts melded holding hands
pheromones innocently intermingling
joy throb mind cannot understand
magnetic current scintillating
we watch day shift to night
scarlet canvas in slow exhalation
no words remain to depict our delight
as ambedo trance becomes our meditation
sensory pleasure surrendered to the flow
wherein the subject and object merge
childlike exuberance in play mellow
experiences a vibrant bliss surge
simply present in the continuum
embracing and releasing each pulse
each node within form a joy sensorium
heightened rapture our being does engulf
identity vaporised we no longer weigh and size
the thinking process but a body instrument
rested since narrowness stifles surprise
celebrating life without abatement
equal in both pain and pleasure
consciousness fulcrum in the void
stagnating not yet each breath treasure
mode embrace hold release always overjoyed
Gods love inpours filling all chasms in our form
owing to simplistic erect aspect allowing
bliss currents envelope us in swarms
love and light within blossoming
moment to moment thus complete
flow through life with nonchalant ease
one with the That oneness with bliss replete
unending is celebration as the breeze does tease

"Much Larger"
Getting smarter
Working harder
Open to barter
Occasionally taking a charter
Nearby a harbor
Sometimes wearing armor
Buying crops from farmers
When necessary I display ardor
In order to reach farther
There needs to be a departure
Brush your teeth or there will be disease and tartar
I have no care to become a martyr
The bigger picture is much larger
No matter if times turn darker
And get harsher
I've become sharper
Ups and downs I went through many
The weight on my shoulders and back got heavy
Nearby an eddy
I held on steady
With a machete
Ready for any medley
From here to New Delhi
Then beyond the Serengeti
I'm talking good and plenty
I got no time to be petty
I need to stack up some serious feddi
Instead of just celebrating with confetti
Will they ever accept me
Or just always judge and think less of me?
Occasionally listening to Mozart
I've been off to a slow start
For the most part
A lot have no heart
So if need be I shoot them with a blow dart
Then take off in a Go-Kart
Into the Ozarks
At it again, guess who?
Can't let it all get to you
Even though everything I've said is true
Life is always going to test you
Will either handle it or panic and call for rescue
Sometimes my heart stops at the sight of my children,
Mostly when they’re unaware I’m watching,
The emotion crawls up the back of my head,
then reaches round and stabs me in the heart,
It chokes a lump into my throat,
Emotion in its purest form,
It’s fear that’s behind it,
Fear that i can’t give my children what they deserve,
Fear that I can’t protect them every hour of every day,
And because of that something terrible could happen in my absence,
And then I could never live with myself,
Then those thoughts run away with themselves and suddenly I’m on the verge of tears,
Or maybe it’s just fear of not being able to contain the amount of love they create in my soul,
Because their mine,
They’re me - every look every feature every bone, finger nail, hair, skin every single molecule,
And sometimes it’s feels like each of those pieces are being ripped from my body anew,
It’s an innate need to want them near me all the time,
And they don’t want to be because they’re at that age,
And that fills me with pride at how much they’re growing up,
And that pride starts to creep up the back of my head again,
It’s an amazing, devastating , frustratingly educating, celebrating, elevating altogether rejuvenating thing to be a parent.
I might get angry, I might want to cry, I’m always laughing and I never stop being proud of my kids,
They’re everything,
There my reason for doing,
and my reason for not,
They’re purpose itself,
They’re innocent,
And honest - well most of the time,
But they’re mine,
And they’re everything and all I need.
I dived into the cauldron of magic potion
And saw my prince charming’s clear reflection
With bouquet of roses and a big box of chocolate
All for me on this coming Valentine’s date.
My heart was pounding in admiration and joy
He was so handsome, fair and tall. Oh, boy!
As I swam deeper, down into its bottom room
He became a wizard and I, a witch with a broom.
I dived into the cauldron of magic potion
And saw my prince charming’s magical reaction
Hats off before me to offer all his lovely gifts
And went out with me and my broom as our lift.
My heart was rejoicing with great happiness
For celebrating hearts’ day amidst singleness
This year’s Valentines Day has given me a great treat
A sweetheart in the eyes of people I’m going to meet.
In Memory of Kerwin Rae - The man with a Mission
In loving memory of Kerwin Rae, who left us unexpectedly just days after celebrating his 50th birthday.
Kerwin was a remarkable figure—a motivational speaker, business coach, and virtually Australia’s own Tony Robbins. He reached millions, both in
Australia and globally with his inspiring guidance, especially those facing ADHD and dyslexia, challenges he knew personally.
This video holds a special meaning, as mystic coincidences unfolded during its creation, including a heartfelt share from Elizabeth Rae, his grieving mother, on her channel. Elizabeth, herself an acclaimed author and coach on ‘Women in Stress’, (womeninstress.com.au), has touched lives through her own journey and work. It is an honor that she reached out.
We are deeply touched to know that this video, with lyrics inspired by Kerwin’s teachings, was played at his funeral a few days ago.
Your comments here and by clicking above on my YouTube channel, where we share a brief of his life, would be a comfort to his mother, family, friends and followers.
Your shares could bring hope to someone in need, when reflecting on Kerwin’s enduring influence through the lyrics, as well as uplift and give people purpose in a world riddled with strife.
Thank you
I found freedom in you,
freedom to be myself
no matter what,
freedom to be honest
about my feelings,
my past sins,
my present fears,
freedom to express myself
without reservations.
I found freedom in you,
freedom to be myself
no matter what,
to be able to chase
my dreams,
try new things,
and spread my wings
and fly.
I found freedom in you,
freedom to be myself
no matter what,
and in doing so,
I discovered a deeper love,
more powerful
than I ever imagined possible,
and I thank you for that,
for allowing me to 'be' .
I thank God for you
because
I found freedom in you.
Close your eyes and picture this...
...a starlit moon
romantic bliss
the glow of love
you and I connected
in a soulful kiss.
Can't imagine anything
more exciting than this,
the taste of our love,
the sweetness of your lips.
Close your eyes and picture this...
...a breathtaking waterfall
a Heavenly mist
Mother Nature showing off
the sky rainbow-dipped.
Can't imagine anything
more passionate than this,
celebrating our love
and the splendor
of God's gifts.
Close your eyes and picture this...
...a private beach
scented candles lit
ocean waves crashing
birds singing sweetly in the midst.
Can't imagine anything
more perfect than this,
two hearts one love
the ultimate mix.
Close your eyes and picture this...
Crowned May Queen
As the music flows in my mind and soul in cheer
I dance around on my toes in the sun kissed fragrant fields
of wildflowers and tall emerald green grass yields
With a breath of life that dwells the day is near
For I’m favored to be the prettiest maiden here
All eyes will be on me in my white lace dress
and closed shoes I will astound with my hair in curls
and a crown of blossoms and leaves of green
when I'm honored with the crown of May Queen
a symbol of the stillness of nature surrounds
In which everything revolves around
Early bright is here with a clear blue unclouded sky
My friends and neighbors are all excited to their utmost ability
Townships and villages celebrating springtime fertility
Handsome couples gathering bouquets of flowers from nearby
decorating the whole town with springtime greenery and mystify
I lead the celebration up to the heart of town singing
Old buildings and tables are adorned
with scented blooms that leave you breathless
Populace displays all the elegance of their dress
Dressed in white, carrying garlands of flowers
and beaming children follow giggling and dancing
They place a crown of blossoms on my head,
I say a speech from my soul and set off the festivities,
with dance and overwhelming merriment
Musicians play their musical instruments with talent
with eating, drinking, jubilant music,
and courtly lovers dancing around the Maypole
A feast fit for a King, everyone enjoys
crafts, games, and carousel to console
With a breath of life at the age of sixteen
As the music flows in my mind and soul
I dance around the maypole
Favored for being the prettiest maiden seen
Honored with being crowned May Queen

Children Story
Under the silver sky ,
The essence feeling from the snow starts to fly.
The northern wind evolutionary telling us ,
Christmas is ready to pass by.
The coldness making us gather in one space ,
Appointing us to share a heart warmness ,
Reminding us to provide a gathering place.
The greatest gift I can get is you my dear ,
Like a Santa Claus to me.
When you embrace me , the lonleyness fades away ,
When you smile back to me , the sadness is washed away ,
When you kiss me , my frozen heart begins to feel again.
Celebrating those happy hours with you ,
I have learned , love is the largest vivid emotion ,
Giving us the view of a colorful deep motion.
Being so greatful for having you in my life ,
My thoughts are howeling loud ,
Love is not just a feeling that evokes with time ,
Love is an ability that can give the sense of soulful heart.
