Endings and Echoes, New Chapters Unfold

Years of togetherness now lead us apart.
Desks remain untouched, pages left unturned, charts unread.
Dust blankets everything, forgotten in time.
A new path unfolds.

Laughter echoes through empty walls,
Curtains cling to memories long gone.
The ceiling seems to hold those smiles,
As if everything is still alive.
A new journey begins.

Writing boards erased, markers cast aside,
Files grow old, shelves stand silent.
Awaiting fresh stories, new memories to be made,
A future ready to be written.

Yet the spirit of learning moves forward,
A new academic year will arrive.
With laughter, new faces, and open hearts,
We forge new memories in the making.

And so a new voyage starts,
Writing another chapter in the dairies of time.

Out of the crack, a life did rise,
A fragile bloom beneath the skies.
No gentle rain, no nurturing hand,
Just broken stones, a barren land.

But still, it fought, it clawed its way,
Toward the sun, it longed for day.
A tiny shoot, a will to grow,
A heart that hope would never forgo.

Like fragile souls, with spirits strong,
Who weather hardship all life long.
Though lost and lonely, cast aside,
Their dreams still bloom, a source of pride.

So let them rise, these broken hearts,
And find their strength in scattered parts.
For even roses, cracked and torn,
Can fill the world with beauty, born.

A Lurking Shadow

How perfidious is it to hide,
not to be found and be recognized
for the values not revealed
but shamefully being cast aside?
How deplorable is it to renounce existing,
refusing the crown of meekness,
a life of peaceful days, of a lesser complicity
and accept the glory of vanity...
when feelings of betrail resurge, contesting
the perception of loss beyond credibility?

Does one choose loneliness so voraciously sought,
that retreat from a squalid existence that fate brought
to a secluded place that lacks colors and sounds
allowing horrid darkness to descend upon defeats,
blocking out the brilliance and blighting the thoughts
of a mind in search of solitude and self-awareness?

How pathetic us to turn
into a lurking shadow
to conceal the frown of scorn,
the angry look of hurt...
rejecting soothing comfort,
accepting horrid sorrow!

Do all have the same principles of idiocy
and follow a deceiving voice
swerving them from reason...
does it offer delusions that attempt treason?
How strong is their effect on honesty;
how will it coordinate with their choice?

Supplication

What is supplication? It is faith on bended knee,
A sacred, living fellowship with God's divinity.
It fills our deepest emptiness with mercy from above,
Bringing peace and holy wisdom, joy and perfect love.
"Be anxious for nothing," God's faithful Word declares;
In everything with thankful hearts, bring to Him your prayers.
From Matthew, Kings, and Samuel, to the Psalms that gently sing,
The Scriptures call us to His throne, our praises there to bring.

Let heaven be our heart's desire, where Christ we'll see one day,
So cast aside the weights of sin that lead our souls astray.
Cast every care upon the Lord, for He is ever near;
He knows our every need and wipes away each fear.
Seek and ask, keep knocking still, with humble hearts that pray;
Walk with Jesus every hour and trust Him day by day.
For more than all earth's treasures, it is Christ our souls pursue—
A life of sweet supplication, faithful, steadfast, pure, and true.

Because of Loving You

I felt my life was standing still
No dreams for me to follow
Some nights there seemed to be no point
In waking up tomorrow

The road ahead grew lonelier
And longer everyday
With no one there to hold my hand
Or help to guide the way

But then the clouds began to fade
The sun came shining through
And then my life began again
The day that I found you

You took away the loneliness
And wiped away my tears
You gave me back my dignity
And cast aside my fears

You’re the light that pulled me from the dark
The hope I thought I’d lost
You’re the hand that held my broken heart
When life had taken its cost

And every road I walk from here
Is brighter now it’s true
Because the best thing life has given me
Is loving you"...

You gave the strength I needed
To stand up on my own
I knew with you beside me
I would never be alone

You always saw the best in me
Through all the good and bad
You’re always there to laugh with me
Or hold me when I’m sad

We’ve been through everything there is
Together we are strong
We’ve held each other up
Whenever anything went wrong

I can’t remember loneliness
Or what I used to do
I know I’ve learned what life’s about
Because of loving you

You never hide your love for me
Your feelings always show
Please hold me in your life forever
Never let me go

I prayed that I would find a love
That felt this strong and true
And somewhere up in Heaven
God was leading me to you

For you are my life's happiness
You’re everything to me
I couldn’t live without you now
You are my destiny

So never say goodbye to me
My heart will stay with you
Till the day I leave this world behind
I’ll only love you..

The Dark Side of Emotion

(Love never touched its lips, though it longed for destiny!)

You are gone, a forgotten episode left for me to see,
And still, I wake each day haunted by the chimes
Of your footsteps, echoing through time.
The air was heavy, fraught with doom, the day you left,
The clouds, once sleeping, turned to storms in the south.
At the thought of you,
The bones inside me freeze in an instant,
Never foreseeing such fierce turn in my life.
I lost myself, a wanderer like a parched bird,
Searching endlessly for your elusive presence.

Each moment passed now counts in your departure,
Every step you took ahead was a pain in my heart.
You left, not a glance behind,
And merchants ploughed your chest with their lust,
They robbed you and pierced the dreams you once held.
A long, winding path crossed the jungle
where you once walked,
And vanished from my sight forevermore.

You left no wealth, only a heart scarred and torn,
A heart wounded by the trident of time.
Thousands of precious days fell from the sphere,
Hours dropped like petals from the roses to the dust.
Everything passed so quickly, darkness after light,
Dreams linger still, untouched, unwrapped.

The new moon cast aside the sun’s rays from your brow,
A cruelty pierced your chest, your violet lips frozen,
Time has not forgiven you, a fragile flower with no bloom.

Every path leads to an end, and I am your final shore,
Still restless, waiting for a fortune now extinct.

Heavenly persuasion, a journey pay self-reflection.
Sunshine gleaming, sound of waves gain collection.
Forward alone, enjoying the peace of the open sea.
Attaining pure solitude, right where I long to be.

Clear blue skies meet the horizon with ocean's spray.
I'm thankful to be alive, and permitted to savor this fruitful day.
The silence is grand, no judgments found here.
Seagulls dance, intentions quite clear.

Completely unplugged, life's tribulations cast aside.
Smelling the salty ocean water, as the moon controls her tide.
Large sails flapping, while ropes caress the mast amidst a gentle ocean breeze.
Majestic beauty regarded, my heart heals and positions my mind at ease.

Emotional Angiush

Emotional wounds
These cuts run deep
Can't cover the wound
Won't ignore it's pain
Tears have fallen
Hard lessons learned
Feeling non-existent
Travel alone for so long
Latched onto fears
Strong foundations built of rage
Caged I feel
Locked away behind bars of shame
Can't tame the demons that lurk about
Shocked you might be once you see what i have lived though
Tauted and made fun of
Tossed around like a flat ball
No bounce in my step
No air in my lungs
A heartbeat frail
I've sank to the bottom
Staring straight up wanting someone to hear my cries
Ignored I've been
Cast aside a ruin of a man I've stood
My fears weigh heavy
My dreams fade with each sunrise
Courage it takes for my eyes to see each day
Unhappy I seem content I maybe
But someone guides me still
Has not given up on me
I believe that's where these words originate in the eyes of a man that can see past me
A God a wonderful reckoning a cure for all my doubt
A dream he sees in me I just need to see with his eyes and believe I am meant for much more then this reality I live each day.

Days of Our Lives

We spend our lives from solstice to solstice,

creatures caught in a trap hidden by darkness

stuck in a wheel of fortune spinning in no direction

in its endless circles we lose our way.

Despair prevents our souls from healing

all through the solitude of night.

We spend our days like it’s forever night

concealing grief from solstice to solstice,

no hand reaches out in gracious healing.

Moonbeams try in vain to pierce the darkness,

we stumble through a forest losing our way

Like hound dogs running in blind direction.

Heaven has closed all roads that lead to its direction,

so we slumber dreamless, awake through the night,

hugging pain the comfort pillow life brings our way.

Our hurts multiply with each passing solstice,

our days strewn with muck and darkness

in stubborn silence we cast aside light’s healing.

Storms cannot quench earth’s thirst for healing,

Sounds of thunder and lightning beat in all direction.

We sink deeper in a crimson sea of darkness,

struggling under the waves all through the night.

Rain pellets overshadow light in summer solstice

turning into rivulets of water to flood the way.

We stare in apathy at disasters that come our way,

they only aggravate our wounds beyond healing.

we bother not to survive in winter solstice,

as flotsam pieces of our lives scatter in no direction.

We lose our strength and surrender to the night,

under an ominous sky masking the eve of darkness.

We moan and beat the air in the invisible darkness,

feeling no urge to find our feet as we fall on our way.

All the world is foggy and detached as the night,

Ugliness abounds and searches not for healing

We lose step with life’s senseless direction.

while the stakes cut deeper from solstice to solstice.

Each coming solstice may usher more darkness

we need direction to guide us on our way

bring healing to our hearts in the hollow of night.

Thy Maidens Call

THY MAIDENS CALL

Cast aside thy fears and doubts, why live apart, why be without,

Lover's we will ever be, condemned by all society

Shunned for our strength of determined hearts,

how dare we make a whole new start

As winter leaves our world so cold, summer heat brings you to hold,

I have no courage if thine fails, storm to calm our ship set's sail

I won't live in shadows of what could of been,

I live with what mine eyes hath seen.

Multi colored world of light, I offer you my life tonight

The brightest blaze of fire doth burn, celebration that my love return

Out of black and into white, onto deaf ear's fall their piercing cries

None could keep me from thy side, on horseback Knight so bravely ride

Lift thy spear, defend this night, the maiden who awaits in white.
