Do you hear the chimes,
Of the poem’s rhymes,
Also those without rhymes,
How they reflect the times,
The elements of truth within eachofus,
Inspiteofus, trying to getoutofus!!
So that all may see,
Twiddle Dee,
Of the mind, you see!

So poets hold your position,
It is your only opposition,
To a world, in peril,
Love’s knowledge will make it’s stand,
As only love can!

A true poem is truth,
No matter how loose,
Is from truth’s booth,
Don’t try to, up it spruce,
For it is cutting your true potential loose,
From mind control, golden goose!

The spirit of heart,
Will always set the mind apart,
If the mind doesn’t start,
To be a part,
Of love, the heart’s start!

We are in the world,
But not of it’s peril!
The world grossly complex,
They say, too large to fail,
But it’s you and me they quell!
While the economy is sagging,
Many jump on their band wagon!

More tax, is faxed,
To the very max!
But the flop, is throwing money at the top,
Of the tree,
Of the economy,
As they say oh gee,
Taxes are free,
Are you kidding me!

By common nature you see,
To fertilize a tree,
And it is, love’s principle, you see,
A simplicity,
Which is the basis of all, reality,
As in agriculture, they taught me,
You fertilize the bottom of a tree!

But our leaders, you see,
Fertilize the top,
Cause that’s all they got,
Just the mind’s flop,
All this must stop!

They don’t give a flute’s toot,
About the root,
Of the tree,
For that’s you and me!
But the power of the bloom,
Will very soon,
Let the wild branches swoon!

Love is, our intelligent prune,
Let’s don’t be goons!
More taxes, more stress on the root,
That’s such a flute!
If we the people will take it,
Then by more law they will make it!

Meanwhile mind’s theology,
Is running down the leg of we,
The twiddle dee,
Of you and me!

Now we must prune,
Very soon,
Before we bloom!
For the bloom of unrighteous mammon,
Will cause the world great famine!
Like an unrighteous salmon,
Going down the stream man,
Which will spoil the root plan,
Which will not stand,
Being it’s built on the sand!
It’s the top that’s too large,
We must purge!

The wind,
Will begin,
That will topple this tree,
The economy!
Sooner is a bitter, better,
For later is the hater,
Not the lover!

A Promise

I know that sometimes you pray,
I’ll make you the most secure guarantee today.

I lay in my bed about to sleep,
I can’t help but to think so deep.

Tears flow down my cheek,
My face starts to look like a creek.

I think of a different world then that I know,
Like when the gift of my heart was given in a bow.

If someone out there is who you are meant to be,
I want to see you happy even though I’d be dead if it isn’t me.

I know for sure I want to see our world age,
It wouldn’t be fair though to make you feel in a cage.

The tears continue to flow,
About a world I don’t wish to know.

I can’t hold you back on trying new things,
Even though I feel like getting rings.

I know I will put my heart through lots with hope of return,
However I can’t promise stalemate with my heart feeling the burn.

My nose is now running with moisture from pain,
I hold my pillow wishing it was your hair I brush like a mane.

Life has had many lessons already taught to me this I know,
When you finally find what you’re looking for don’t ever let go.

If this isn’t the world I’m meant to bear,
Then as always my life will be unfair.

My past is my past which lacks this burn,
This direction I hope we never turn.

With all the things physically I’ve been through,
Without hesitation I’d go through it all again for you.

Our date of remembrance is September twenty seven 2005,
It’s the 1st date in memory I felt so alive.

As I cry some more hoping I won’t have to make a hard choice,
I realize our love right now is something to rejoice.

I ask that you don’t give yourself to anyone else till the end is near,
Each time I say this line out comes a new tear.

To say if you love something you should let it free,
It’s hard to believe they were talking to me.

I grab my tissues to try & wipe tears in shame,
I then realize it just brings my heart more pain.

I now close my eyes & count to ten,
In hope of getting rest so I can see you again.

This is hard to rest from with heart needing glue,
I just got to say it Larissa, darling, I Love you.

Please if you must take a step away,
Don’t ever forget those words I say.

I can barely say anymore,
Without dropping crying once again & won’t get up from the floor.

I love you Hun remember that forever more…..

A Storm In Heaven, Sections 1-6

To this scene we have gathered on September’s eve
Under darkening sky, where a storm may conceive
Not a sight better is that face I’ve hardly known
So frail and aged in years past he had grown
A tragedy that one with his talents immense
Must be interred so young, still with look of innocence
Too long had my brother decayed under the weight
Of a burden, I’m afraid, that had become too great

And of that blessed curse that I speak
She stands now in the background waiting for her peek
At the man who loved her more than life itself
From the moment they met, he would heed no help
For his eyes had spotted Atlantis it would seem
That girl was no less than a living, breathing dream
And so it was fated by the powers above
The late Ryan Adams be doomed by his love

Young and wild, his heart would stay no cage
At 18, good Ryan as wise as any mage
With the world before him and regrets left behind
The hermited scholar thought the world quite unkind
Joyous was he of his departure from home
To leave for greener pastures where he was free to roam
An artist he was in his heart and his soul
If not to this end, he would never be whole

Paintings so quaint did he stroke by the night
Quietly laboring by the buzzing street light
Mountains snowcapped and rivers of glass
Any nature’s fancy to pay the time to pass
Restless in heart and sleepless in mind
The troubadour knew not what he wished to find
But longing did fester in his young fevered head
And his heart ever ached, beating love as blood red

A man needs a woman, so the heavens made it so
Cloudseated phantoms casting spells down below
Enchanting a fool so to drive him insane
For the purpose of loving another in vain
To squeeze every drop of passion from his being
And blindfold the eyes he could once use for seeing
A hopeless romantic is born in such a way
And so poor Ryan Adams did become that day

The night air was cool and the liquor ran free
Rivers to the gates of hell or a wine dark sea
For the bottle does make demons of us all
If freedom from troubles is a price fairly tall
And Ryan did imbibe twice his weight on occasion
No other could compare to a man of his station
No less than three times in a week did he stumble
Into stupors of hazy, chaotic jumble

Studying Love

I am so inclined to read for I wish to know.
Although first it seems I have to understand the question which I seek to answer.
Unfortunately I do not yet have this question.
I would ask as many before me of love,
But as they have asked before and given the way the world still is,
To no success,
I fear that the question of love is not to be answered by humanity.
So then I just read.
I am torn from left to right, up and down,
About the existence of God from Voltaire
And the definition of the beautiful and sublime by Kant and Nietsche.
Contradictive the former is to the later.
So where then will I find some sort of universal truth, if such a thing exists?

I read more and I feel sick with a sense of digression from my first position.
I read of war
By writers who have experienced and had the knowledge to express it
With structure and form,
Writers that have passed times test and are regarded as the greatest,
Only to be contradicted by another who is held to an even higher standard.
I feel that I am watching this world pass by in third person,
But I believe myself to be waiting for truth that I can utilize
As a tool to make the best of my world.
Although I do not look to define love nor even read specifically about it,
I know it to be fact that answers lie somewhere in that single syllable,
Four letter word.
I believe this to be similar with my studies of literature
And all that the study entails,
To the way a scientist knows answers lie in the relation of gravity to magnetism.
But like them, I know not of a question,
I merely know that there is an answer.

In all of this said, I believe I have said nothing.
My previous sentence should define my life if I continue to look.
And so I turn to love once again,
Not to be defined but simply to act.
J’aime, and that should conclude my thoughts on the subject.

Your World of Fear Can Disappear

A hidden world, like a heart's inner word
it cannot be seen, nor can it be heard
everyday of your life, it exists
you try to resist, but it persists

Just as thoughts control one's mind
so too, the will power where one can find
a way to cope, or at least to unwind
from troubles and fears that do so bind

Fear restricts freedom, your mind to explore
it is forcing your happiness into a detour
left is desire to find this calm, and be content
better than suffering, with fear to vent

There is no escape, you feel like your bait
only time now stands, between you and your fate
no respite, whatever you might endeavor to do
knowing those worries, nevertheless, will continue

It plagues your mind, and plagues your soul
hearing inner voices saying, "I told you so"
so once again, withdrawing from that chase
retreating yourself, to your secret hiding place

That place of comfort, and place of security
a location guaranteeing you, your obscurity
time has taught you, you have fine tuned
this is your way, to heal your own wound

Overcoming fear is the only way
it requires patience to wait that day
thinking you can rely, to yourself do you obey
but with time, once again you do go astray

To regain control, of your inner world of fears
you need a friend, with whom to share those tears
someone who has been tested, someone to confide
allowing you to open up, and to no longer hide

A friend who listens, allowing you to mend
on a special someone, whom you've come to depend
that beautiful soul, she alone with her tears
knows that secret, to remove those fears

Your friend for the duration, till the very end
she is not into gossip, nor does she pretend
a bosom soul mate, destroying your world of fears
giving you a listening ear, and her heart that cares

Premium Member A Girl I Once Knew

She was quiet
Almost shy
And kind.
I was crude
Rough
In a hurry
I only thought of me
She thought of us.

When we dated
We frequented local places
Never venturing beyond
Our quiet town
We had some good times
But I grew tired of the sameness
I wanted to see the world
Meet the smart money
Feel the hustle
And take in the give.

Eventually things faded
Our calls were infrequent
Her voice became cold and formal
A tiny crack seeped between us
Growing into a fracture
That couldn’t be healed
When it ended
We went on our own
But it hurt me more
Than I admitted
Walking home that night I bit my lip
To keep from crying.

One day my mother said
She thought she saw her
In town
Holding a young child by the hand
She looked happy.
“I thought you didn’t like her” I said
Stopping, my mother searched my face
“I was used to seeing you as a couple that’s all.”

We met by chance years later
We changed
The world changed
Things happened
We stared at each other
Not speaking
Just staring
Standing
At arm’s length
In awkward silence
I was going to ask about children
But I didn’t
The anguish
And bitterness of rejection
Was still buried somewhere inside.

We parted the same way we met
Awkwardly
Memories came back
And I realized
She was comfortable where she was
A place where time moved
In its own peculiar way
A world of
Small shops
Familiar strangers
Clean streets
A place where mothers
Kept an eye on their children.
All in all
Not a bad place to live
And certainly not a bad life.

A voice inside my head
Whispered “Who was she?”
I pretended not to hear
When I look back
I remember the time
A girl walked into my life
For a brief moment.
Maybe it was love
Or infatuation
But whatever it was
She was the girl I once knew.

Resume' De Amor

What lies before us is not always certain,
This world is full of obstacles and branching paths that we could have never imagined
Our plans are set in stone, forthright and true,
Then along comes chance and our love anew.

Confused and trodden becomes our focus,
Our plans and certainness all but tarnished
What is this epiphany that fate has spoken?
Are morality and conviction to be broken?

Eyes exchange glances and hearts begin to race,
Time has stopped and is now our servant,
Passion takes hold but could it be real,
Could this person truly feel what I feel?

A body warm and full of affection,
A face that God emulated ‘perfection’,
A touch so soft to ease flurried emotion,
A hold so captivating to enchant devotion,

A kiss that makes all the angles in heaven stop and stare,
A kiss that somehow makes this world worth it,
A kiss that shows that souls persist,
A kiss to show me love exists.

Reality snaps back and we look upon our created wreckage,
What we have done and morals we have shaken,
Existing upon this planetary system,
Are our man made codes and laws of action,
But how small and minuscule upon the greater picture,
Are these moral obligations to what could be true heartfelt passion?
I know how I feel and I know what I want,
And I know it hurts you to think of your loss,
Sometimes loss is the greater good,
As when a forest burns to ash for the greater good,
Rebuilt and strong it becomes renewed,
My forest is gone and waiting for you,
To become something greater then I could have ever imagined,
To be the love that I always wanted,
Feel my heart and how it beats for you,
You are the life that makes my world true.
What does your heart tell you?
I only hope you listen.

Go Through Hell (Read It Now, I Added and Fixed Most Errors...)

Never in my world have I had anything to fight for, but you
I've been through hell and back only if you knew

We kept our relationship on the down low
We snuck around so that nobody important would know

We had our moments, were goodbye seemed to long
Even if it was for a minute, it felt so wrong

You left your dad, ran away for a night
Had your godparents worried, and your dad at fright

That was the turning point from good to sour
Now were done, and I feel like I have no power

I cried myself to sleep, woke up with tears
Couldn' beleive it, thought it was a nightmare

It was just reality, it didn't want to sink in
I'll always remember way back when

We cruised around, listening to tangled up in you
Knowing every word was beyond true

What do I do now, where do I start
I gave you my heart, and all you did was tear it appart

You were my strength, that guided my will
You were the pain taken away without the pill

Now your gone, what do I do, what did I do wrong
Do I turn to the bottle, hit up that bong

Im at lost for words, never felt so worthless
but I have a lot to confess

I would do the same for you, Leave out all the rest
Just to show you my love, and how it will never be A test

My fate, Is you, my love is true
without you I'd die, my world would be blue

I'm not loosing my reason to try
I wont give up unti the day thatl I die

It's you I need, and I know you need me
One day, you will know, and be able to see

I will rescue you, even if I have to go through hell
Its you I need, Its you Danielle

You and me belong together
no matter the day, no matter the weather

Through stormy skies, and blizzard like conditions
Always remember, our loves mission

Premium Member The Wilderness Part 2

Why not build a building of the real self,
You mind has jumped off it’s cliff,
Having nothing left of itself,
With the old man dead,
Where is the dread,
Live life instead!

There is nothing left,
But God within myself,
For I have been in a hassle,
In my worldly castle with my selves!

Here is the way it goes in hassle’s,
Worldly castle,
My aware said, I do declare,
To my mind, in times line,
Who said to my brain,
You’re lame,
Now my lame brain,
Said, to my flesh,
You’re the very last,
To see,
Twiddle Dee,
The mind’s creation for you to be!

Now that we see our devils,
Lets get our lives on the level,
For there is no devils,
Only a house divided,
Has been decided!
You can now see the cure,
That has been provided!

Just your outer parts out of line,
Created a wilderness in your mind,
In life’s time line!
So sit and pine no more,
No need to walk the floor,
Your mind created your life’s W- - - e!
Read about it in your bible some more,
Living with her has been such a chore,

So now I’ve opened the real door,
Of my inner world to explore,
It’s the real world,
Not the world in peril,
But my real pearl, of God’s world!

One soul, one heart at a time,
With love’s kind,
Dane & Carolyn!
Myself I can change,
You, I cannot rearrange,
My love I can give to you,
But I can’t live it through you!

Once enough members of life’s city is built,
The whole world will tilt,
Toward perfection,
In love’s direction,
Toward the city’s election,
Of a world of perfection!

In the building of the city,
Black stones are a pity,
White stones build the city,
The carnal mind is a pity,
From the white of the hearts,
Comes a perfect city!
