The pitter-patter flutter of a lover’s broken heart,
Like a contorted portrait painting or a Picasso piece of art.
The stream of roll’n, swollen tears on the jilted lover’s face will start,
As our spurned tragic figure faces a world now torn apart.

The completely empty prospect of a future all alone;
The world in which our broken soul violently has been thrown.
The heart that beat out songs of love, now hardened like a stone;
The King and Queen of Happiness, abdicate their royal throne.

If in time you don’t lose your mind you surely will survive;
Mouth to mouth from the next in line; your sick heart will be revived.
But be advised the smear of tears won’t be the last ones that you’ve cried;
Love that stays or goes away equally can hurt our pride.

Move On

I thought the love we shared

was true.

A new connection, between me

and you.

Now today the world is new.

Our love is gone

once one now two.

It's lost in that world of lonely.

(Refrain)

I take a deep breath, find myself again.

I don't know what to do

without you.

But it's time to move on with my life.

The memories we had,

the times that we shared,

that first kiss I so willingly gave.

I thought it would last forever.

(Refrain)

I take a deep breath, find myself again.

I don't know what to do

without you.

But it's time to move on with my life.

The secrets I told you,

the ones you told me.

I thought you would hold me

for eternity.

Who knew,

how different

our world

could someday be.

(Refrain)

I take a deep breath, find myself again.

I don't know what to do

without you.

But it's time to move on with my life.

Premium Member A Girl I Once Knew

She was quiet
Almost shy
And kind.
I was crude
Rough
In a hurry
I only thought of me
She thought of us.

When we dated
We frequented local places
Never venturing beyond
Our quiet town
We had some good times
But I grew tired of the sameness
I wanted to see the world
Meet the smart money
Feel the hustle
And take in the give.

Eventually things faded
Our calls were infrequent
Her voice became cold and formal
A tiny crack seeped between us
Growing into a fracture
That couldn’t be healed
When it ended
We went on our own
But it hurt me more
Than I admitted
Walking home that night I bit my lip
To keep from crying.

One day my mother said
She thought she saw her
In town
Holding a young child by the hand
She looked happy.
“I thought you didn’t like her” I said
Stopping, my mother searched my face
“I was used to seeing you as a couple that’s all.”

We met by chance years later
We changed
The world changed
Things happened
We stared at each other
Not speaking
Just staring
Standing
At arm’s length
In awkward silence
I was going to ask about children
But I didn’t
The anguish
And bitterness of rejection
Was still buried somewhere inside.

We parted the same way we met
Awkwardly
Memories came back
And I realized
She was comfortable where she was
A place where time moved
In its own peculiar way
A world of
Small shops
Familiar strangers
Clean streets
A place where mothers
Kept an eye on their children.
All in all
Not a bad place to live
And certainly not a bad life.

A voice inside my head
Whispered “Who was she?”
I pretended not to hear
When I look back
I remember the time
A girl walked into my life
For a brief moment.
Maybe it was love
Or infatuation
But whatever it was
She was the girl I once knew.

Wonderful World of You

Guess I should be sleeping,

But I just cant stop thinking bout the wonderful world of you.

Maybe you don't see, all the changes you've brought in me.

But when you hold me close, my spirit is set free.

I'm like a river flowing in an an ocean of love,

Like a river flowing in an ocen of love.

Looking behind your cover, was a big surprise.

How was I to know, what was written in your eyes?

Sometimes, when I'm dreaming,

The moon it gets me thinking about the wonderful world of you,

I sail on to unknown shores,

Spread my wings like a dove, and fly away!

Guess I should be sleeping,

But I just can't stop thinking,

About the wonderful world....of you.

Love Is a Journey

LET’S RUN AWAY
LET’S LEAVE EVERYTING BEHIND
ECXEPT OUR LOVE

LET’S TAKE A JOURNEY BEYOND
OUR WILDEST DREAMS
AND EXPLORE THE WORLD

LET’S TAKE A CHANSE IN
PUSHING OUR LIMITS
AND STEPPING OVER OUR BOUNDRIES

LET’S SEE WHAT THE WORLD HAS TO OFFER
LET’S HEAR WHAT THE WORLD HAS TO SAY
LET’S REPRESENT A SYMBOL OF FREEDOM

LET’S MAKE OUR WAY INTO THE HISTORY BOOKS
LET’S SET A GOAL TO ACHIEVE OUR FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND THOUGHT
LET’S SHOW THE GRIEFING SOULS THAT HAPPINESS DOES EXIST

LET’S SET AN EXAMPLE OF HOW TO LIVE LIFE TO THE EXTREME
LET’S BE AN INSPARATION TO INSPIRE YOUNG MINDS
LET’S BE A LIVELINE TO THOSE IN NEED

LET’S BANISH THE DARK AND REPLACE IT WITH PURE LIGHT
LET’S FIGHT FOR WHAT WE BELIEVE IN
LET’S MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY STANDING TOGETHER AS ONE

LET’S BE THE BEST THAT WE CAN BE
LET’S BE PROUD OF WHAT WE HAVE ACIEVED
LET’S SEE HOW NOTHING BUT OUR LOVE HAS COMPLETED

know your not my girl but I’m craving you was still in my world as my girl not my X. I know
he missing you why because you’re a Queen no lie in this world and mine, but you have had
times with him and I guess it was good times coz I can still see it in your eye’s, but does he
see the same thing too,

All these years I’ve been good to you only getting better. Understanding you, but I guess I
need to do is understand No OVERSTAND MYSELF before trying to give you my love. So I’m
on my ting now so I’ll holla when I can and see you when I see you coz I’m not throwing my
love around any more.

I LOVE YOU and you have identified it, so it your time to show me what moment in time it is
or you might not call or even TX and just get back with your X but you know how far the
love goes and what adventures we could overcome together. So i don't call this the end or
the past because i believe love will still past this way.

A Night With Her Beauty

A night with her beauty

It was a icy night and
i was very near to her
It was a bank of a river and
we were alone of that bank
We talked in our silence and
enjoyed that night by watching
that night slipped in to dawn
Still we didn’t have any motion
We were in the world of romance
where the moon and stars were very near to us
Sun came on the sky and
sent his heat to seperate us
We were still in our eyes and
our hearts and minds failed to realize
The changes happened around us
We were still as a picture
Up to the arrival of villagers
I was with her beauty and
she was with my love
We were mingled in love and
went to a new world of romance

The Neighbor Boy

I was sixteen budding and fulfilling.
He was fifteen searching and awkward,
walking me home from a bus stop backwards,
carrying my bags, strutting a silly-grin valor.

What a sweet little braggart, trying to woo me.
Quiet and shy with his little trick, a smile
hesitantly grown, an innocent blossom of trust.
Twisted feet tripped, he stuttered, my heart gripped.

One week later still he walked me, holding my bag
sweetly and silently. I grew bold in his attention
our walks extended and moved for privacy.
Budding and grinning I tripped, fell, and he caught me.

I was seventeen and haughty and proud.
He was sixteen budding and promising...
Life fell apart as the world caved in around me,
exploding inwards I fell, and he caught me.

He has held me all these years never leaving.
A promise of trust and love unending
And still his quiet slow grin unbends
my heart and makes the world re-spin.

Premium Member Within These Walls

There blew a storm across the sky, a tattered world arose
Yet in my mind a sense of peace, a warmth within my heart
A battered earth wears ravaged face, a wearied world worn down
The barren trees beneath the moon, will quiver, quake and swoon
While here I keep at peace with you, no fear of winter's view
I turn my back to window seiged, as mighty clouds roll in
I close my ears to thunder's shout, my eyes keep hold on you

There is no dark, there is no voice, to steal a heart serene
If lost the things I've grown to love, were scattered into dust
And crumbled walls around me fell, our haven left a shell
If storms thrust in, and fury roars, to strip it all away
The only place my heart stays strong, is safe within your arms
