...Now human cloning is always borderline,
but it this case all agreed to it, fast,
a chance to disprove a major religion,
what academic would pass up that?
A good many of them seemed rather glad,
but they all agreed to do this in secret,
they had to be sure, and were not there yet.
They took the DNA, and a donor egg,
in the artificial womb they both went,
a new machine the size of a van,
that, ironically, many thought heaven-sent,
since it had brought abortion to an end.
A device that had saved so many lives…
now used to disprove all religion’s ‘lies.’
About a year in the child looked like
a small boy, somewhere around six years old.
one day Pete looked in, and felt uncertain,
had for a while, if the truth be told,
and said to Tom, who by now felt quite bold,
“I know you are smart, have lots of degrees,
but have you really thought what this might unleash?”
“It will final show superstitious folk
that no deity will ever be real,”
said Tom as if talking to a child,
“And that with facts and reason they must deal,
and that the world does not care how they feel.”
Pete sighed and said, “How have you gone so far
without knowing people, what we really are?”
Tom just scowled at the janitor’s words,
then he snapped back,”Aren’t you on the clock?”
He didn’t say more, didn’t get him fired,
as a worker he was solid as a rock,
but like most men had a head like a block.
Tom refocused on the task before him,
another year passed, they prepared to go in.
Thanks to advances in technology,
growth in DNA they could accelerate,
which means in two years Tom’s people had grown
what took a normal person two decades,
though they could not, in this way, educate.
So what came out would be a large baby,
and not some living god, all people would see.
They were planning a big reveal next week,
but for Tom that just wasn’t soon enough,
he’d put so much effort in this project,
put in long hours, done the media stuff,
he wanted to see the results so much…
He went in late one night while Pete cleaned the room,
and boldly opened the Artificial Womb...
CONCLUDES IN PART III.
The Construct of an Essence Forming
Collaborative custodians of remuneration for the poor
Commemorative symposiums on humans need for wanting more
Symbols of ancient mystery drawn upon cave walls
Thimbles of fragrant misery born from what a man recalls
A nieche in the marketplace, an advertisement that lies
A piece of someone’s face falling plastic from their eyes
The grief of the replaced calling out for compromise
Attitudes of servitude that call for investigation
Gratitude for the interludes that fall for the relief of compensation
Exactitude that can only conclude to stall the consternation
Platitudes that are borderline rude based on weak configurations
Instantaneous satisfaction born from greed and lust
Sub-cutaneous mathematical fractions that only scientists trust
Spontaneous interactions that are based on sense and must
Contemporaneous fine contractions that are born from the modes of break and bust
An ethical integrity that cannot be mistaken
Umbilical propensity that will not be mis-shapen
Ventriloquist alarmists miming political ideals
Soliloquies, pharmacists, timing hypocritical appeals
Contrite sensibility coming from a place of inherent goodness
Finite possibilities running the race of concurrent couldness
Hematite magnifications of ions colliding for war
Israelite pontifications of lions at the gates of Daniels door
Cocophonies of entropy expanding out through space
Topographies and symphonies sounding with an air of grace
Corroborrees and ancient trees expressing wisdom from a race
Soliloquies and poetry forming from a lifetime of disgrace
The basic convalescence of a soul pure as white
The corrupt adolescence as the whole begins to fight
The abrupt incandescence of a goal reaching the light
The construct of the essence of a mould in pure delight

Psychic energy that is misspent on an idea,
perhaps an object, and often on a person,
is referred to as a cathexis, an action
to satisfy an urge or need that can worsen.
In his explored psychoanalytical theory
of personality disorders, Sigmund Freud
theorized about this rather unhealthy drive
in which a life can be hindered or destroyed.
He believed that psychic energy is found
within the id, the ego, and the superego
The id directs a person's most basic needs,
deviating reality, but just how far will it go?
To satisfy the fanatic compulsion it craves
it can throw someone's energy into disarray,
This personality disorder is totally cognitive,
borderline psychotic, leading the mind astray.
Ego cathexis is a median nature of narcissism
causing a break down of stored up emotions.
Anger may occur, irrational to say the least,
often filling the brain with devious notions.

i love you and you know i would do anything for
you and it kills me that i know you wouldn't do
the same for me.
you’re all i have
please don’t leave me
i hate you for this
i hate that you’re the only thing keeping me alive
when whether i’m alive or not
truly means nothing in your universe
that i yearn to be a part of
your universe;
that which i crave to be
the dark night sky that scares you when you’re alone
the stars you smile at because they’re so beautiful
the moon that make you feel safe under that same dark sky
i want you to need me
as much as i need you
realising i’m nothing more than another person to you
kills me
i want it to kill you
it’s killing me
i want you to need me
i need you to want me
not of my own accord, don’t flatter yourself
Welcome To The 21st. Century
(by Joan Donnelly Ellis October 22 2015)
Have you ever felt separated from society,
Through no known fault of your own,
Because there's been a decline in social gatherings,
Since messaging's increased via internet and cell phone ?
Have you ever sensed a change in home environment,
Where once true love's expressions were the norm,
And now anger lounges with anxiety and depression ?
Seems no escape from the silent, deadly storm.
Spending time alone was once a good thing,
Timeout to rejuvenate , get restored to vigor fresh,
A vacation well deserved and necessary,
Getting back into the Spirit and shedding the loathsome flesh.
But you feel your life and energy depleting , feel wasted,
From the isolation you've become a prisoner, a borderline cuckoo
Avoiding all personal contact with those once treasured loved ones ,
You at insatiable computer, while devils siphon brains and add to poisoned brew.
Do you suppose you might suffer from agoraphobia ,
Subconsciously grounding yourself to house arrest?
Realise if you persist in mutilating love and freedom.
The further from all that's worthy of your devotion you will digress.
NON - DUALISM
Non - dualism! Prime perception in awakening of awareness
oozing from sole Consciousness
on eternal Universal flow fluent and abundant.
Non - duality running through
multiplicity and diversity of existence
revealing static Cosmic state
Or manifesting dynamic progress
transcending to ethereal ecstasy.
Unique Spiritual essence
attributing Oneness embedded
in living and non living objects.
No borderline can be drawn separating continuity of Consciousness.
Unbounded endless Energy rippling propagating
through every quark and nano particle in continuous pattern
neither discrete chapters nor can be discriminated.
Mono-ism! A Universal Oneness
initiating Full Consciousness
to create Openness above Self
surpassing subject-object limitations.
Ever flow of endless ethereal Energy
interconnecting everything
in Sub conscious Semi Conscious Conscious or Super conscious form
to follow a Unique principle: Mono-ism.

My bid to solve the conundrum was fruitless.
Yes, our baffling species can't be rootless.
In the middle of the silence of my privacy.
And amid the well-informed set of primacy.
Man has a hodgepodge of inconsistent data.
We discern that it's a sly topic of alpha and beta.
So enigmatic, just beyond comprehension.
Sinister and heavenly beings coexist in tension.
Each life leads to a core, albeit stated or static.
Aims are inherent to human status, not erratic.
Arguably reluctantly recognizing its brilliance,
Trust audacity breeds resilience.
They carefully revere it as a fragile utopia to win.
We are unable to grasp a rainbow vivid spin.
But he pressed on, equanimous to the distance.
The sky rewards diligent deeds with insistence.
Revamping as a chameleon, tearing layers of skin.
I'm donning a dark cape and gliding into the scene.
When my gloom pulses akin to a hiss in my ears,
I recklessly embrace and succumb to my fears.
I'm cruising down, wondering what this means.
Who is the real me, with my threads fraying at seams?
Am I reckless, terrified, or even human under here?
Am I cruel or bonny? Which of my brain coils is clear?
Maybe it's just one aspect of my identity.
Continues to operate within my entity.
However, my actual self is a hollow grave.
When hearts break, legs turn jelly, as slaves.
I shall opine minus identity, envy, or vanity.
No work or economic stability can annoy me.
No status goals, no phony levity, will rule him.
My spirit will be freed after living a quiet whim.
Borderline: without me, what universe is mine?
Is it just me, embracing each day as it shines?
Three times it happened, all connected,
Transcending time and space,
Ignited by the key ingredients -
A tree and sky above my face.
Looking up through skeletal winter branches,
The leaves had dropped off of each bone,
The third time I was with a cherished friend,
The others, I was alone.
Rock 'n roll poets played the stinging soundtrack,
Very clear, yet very low.
The second time the music played in my head.
The others were the stereo.
Above, a patchwork of blue polygons,
Each a different shape.
My eyes traced the branching borderline.
What I'd caught could not escape.
Those bare boughs and branches were the border
Of my roots in the earth below
And the greater spiritual universe
As time was moving slow.
I was no longer lost, no longer running,
Gazing skyward, I was found.
The quiet energy in me was stunning
As I looked up from the ground.
I saw that I was sad, but not bewildered.
Yet, too, I was wild, and I was free.
I was young and I was old, feeling bleak and cold,
But I was real, and it was me.
Hip hip hurray it’s our Christmas soirée
With Georgia and Mark and Hugh and Ray
This is the only time we meet
To kiss and hug and meet and greet
There’s Sam and Maureen and Fred and Doreen
And not forgetting our Great Aunt Flora
She’s unattached and lives alone
A favourite Aunt, the kids adore her
And then of course there’s Uncle Michael
Arriving on his brand new cycle
Not forgetting Freya and Joyce
Travelling in style in their vintage Rolls Royce
Of course our dearest Grandma Elsie
Who travels down to us from Chelsea
Boarding the train at Victoria Station
With a hamper of goodies from Fortnum & Mason
Dear Auntie Edna and Uncle Howard
Last year, too much food they devoured
They sat in the corner both turning bright green
With bulging great tummies ~ a sight to be seen
But for Phyllis and Jim who are both rather thin
We baked them a cake all scrumptious within
With sugars and spices and all things nices
They have now become vegans eating all things rices
My niece and my nephew Rosie and Jim
Were totally legless ~ what a state they were in
Whilst Jim with a grin drank a bottle gin
Rosie got merry with my bottle of sherry
Dora and Flora second cousins once removed
Are extremely outrageous even borderline rude
They talk about everyone else in the room
Like a coven of witches flying off on their broom
Flirtations ~ Frustrations ~ even Hospitalizations
all welcome to attend our Christmas celebrations…

HONORABLE MENTION
Suns fading across this sky while the clouds weep to noone passin by,
And still I think of the days we made out of dignity, grace, and pain,
and it never seems to speak the same.
So tell me why the tears don't come easy even when the heart is ripped apart,
Yeah, its hard workin' in the end of days of a romance and love gone dry,
But the blood remains on the hand and in the eyes, cuz who else knows we're buyin
empty time.
Tired of the walled-in cities cuz the tragedy echoes closer an the sins don't care who they kill,
And you in your diamond mansions with ivory and marble splendor throwin' your arrows,
Aimin' for the depths of my spirit, but u ain't good enough to burn these memories,
So do we wait for the flames or the war outside these walls to destroy us from within,
But i couldn't find the freedom of the skies from your tantelizing grip, so i learned to burn,
In the wild abandoned throes of what we thought we knew was real, but I played
the hand too hard, and I couldnt keep the demon quenched in the shadows and
before I knew it, I found myself fallin' from heavens throne to the wastelands I once
roamed.
Now im high on the hills of the north country, lookin' out from the mists of of a new morn,
And the birds singin' a new song as only he can cuz he already knows about the outside world.
Yeah babe, its been a long time rolling, but the tears of yesteryear are all the more
sweeter for the lesson learned for tomorrow.
well, I saw you some time ago on the edge town, where only the mystics go
speakin in a voice so soft and low that I could'nt run an I didn't try,
but my name wasn't in it, and on your arm was paul bunyan of the suburbanites
and a new life glowin from the sidelines had claimed you for its own,
but the ancient gaze you gave spoke all too clear, an my soul was too pained to cry,
but my walk and my heart are strong, so maybe we'll meet again
on the borderline of the city of lights where we first felt the angst and sweat of new
life and love alive and thrivin, where nothin ever really dies but sleeps.
Tell me mama, do you sleep?
Yeah.........I know.....
Neither do I.
