Premium Member A Geisha Today a Convict Tomorrow

A geisha today a convict tomorrow
My mouths are all speaking
Blah Glad and Hah Sad
I cannot hear them for I am done
Broken and cracked, an egg of myself

A cowgirl whose nose is out of joint
A different smell than others have
My green eyes are a glory to my face
Looking at me from a mirror
Only I understand, and no one else can see

I am holding things together with
A pretend hand.
Secretly conducting a mariachi band.
A geisha today, a convict tomorrow.
If you knew what I was thinking
You would be ahead of the game.

I have mouths that listen and a nose
That speaks. I have eyes that don’t see
The cracks at all, loving myself
In spite of the blah glads and hah sads
I am all I have got, and it is more
Than enough.
A geisha today, a convict tomorrow.

The Scent of Karma Is Knocking On My Door

the scent of karma is knocking on my door
an envelope written in an ink of sloppy hope for chance
what died in december has become faded by february
what wilted in winter is trying saturate in summer

i once saw you as fresh and festive
now i see you as blah and bland
what descended in december has now become fateful by february
what waned in winter is trying to simulate in summer

the smell in reciprocation is melting with rounded roof of my foundation
a note written in a lead of illegible wishes for opportunity
what desimated in december has become fodder in february
what wandered in winter is trying to serenade in summer

the influence of you was once rich in nutrients
now the simple issuance of you is now rotting in replusiveness
the humidity of you used to cool the all of my senses
now the frigidity of you only suffocates the fondest memories of what once was

Premium Member Oppressive Heat

When the air feels thick and humid,
clouds coalesce in shades of grey.
And a dullness blunts the Sun's edge,
unable to cut through the fray.

A gloomy mood paints your day blue
with a blah, melancholy brush.
And you start to squirm and fidget,
suppressing any urge to rush.

You lounge around, miserable:
with your face frozen in a frown.
And a laziness settles in,
as perspiration dribbles down.

Suffocating and exhausting,
the air feels heavy and tactile.
And the sweltering atmosphere
leaves you depressed and immobile.

Even long after the Sun sets,
an oppressive heat: won't give in.
And you feel uncomfortable:
for there's no way to cool your skin.

Premium Member Vanilla

Somebody said an odd thing today,
Something I think’s a bit strange,
About how blah and lame we seem around here,
How things have never seen change,

They said we’re vanilla, as though that is bad,
As though that is some kind of fault,
They implied that vanilla is a boring old flavour,
Not as good as chocolate or malt,

But I love vanilla on all that I drink,
I love vanilla, on a whim, anywhere,
I think vanilla is a most flavoursome drink,
Adding a fluff of flavour and flair,

As a matter of fact I think it rocks on,
I think it’s the flavour of choice,
So when people say we’re vanilla as hell,
I stand up and begin to rejoice.

You Want To Be a Poet

I see you for everything you are

What are you?

A poet?...a poet

Define poet for me

Are you a poet if you write many words
Are you a poet if you put many ideas in writing
Are you a poet if you think many thoughts
Are you a poet if you simply write blah blah blah over and over again

Who defines me as person if I cannot define myself

I am a poet
Good or bad
Worthy or unworthy
I am still a writer of words
a conveyor of thought
I dance with words and they with me
I love words
 and words ...Oh blessed!
love me
But

There is a greater cause!
 ...so pause
To be a poet

To touch the intrinsic chord
Stir the cosmic soup
Be the pebble chucked into the pond
One ripple...one glint
as light off the water

to lift or companion
to patron
to hold
A chalace...the golden cup
to be the Holy grail
Chosen
from which a soul may take a sip

Forever blessed
As one if only for a fleeting moment
Not alone

Mental Health Stuff

Just a collection of mental health stuff.
The hopeless, random fidgets and calendars.
And when you live in Michigan?
You feel like running to the upper peninsula sometimes!
Taking all that stuff.
Or leaving it all as if it’s a pile.
Mental health is one of those…
Dadada, blah things.
Decrepit and odd.
Takes you back to childhood or nothinghood.
Takes you to Indiana in a dissociative episode that no one talks about.
Takes you back like someone took the wrong luggage.
I still have a random stress ball over there.
And when you live in Michigan?
You can’t lose.
So stress balls sit on my desk.
Like decor but also distressing.
Just a collection of mental health stuff.
I could put it in a box.
But it all got wrecked like a car accident,
Except not exactly.
I’m just a girl who lives in Michigan.
For some reason.

Premium Member -Grumpy Old Men

Grumpy old men do exist
Ladies, I’m afraid to say it’s true
Though never in a million years
Did I think it would happen to you!

So relaxed and easy going
Chill ,no worries or concerns
Since you have grown older
Oh, how the tables have turned!

“What about this?, What about that”?
“What took you so long?”
“What have you bought now”?
“You already have one!”

“Why you doing that?, What have you done now”?
Blah blah blah ….I think you know how it goes!
Patience shortens , irritation rises
Ladies, what happens to our men nobody knows?

Where is my “no worries man”
It seems he has gone
Never to return I believe
Now exchanged for a grumpy old one!

So, ladies be aware
As this tale I tell is true
Though never in a million years
Did I think it would happen to you!

Scratch off everyone who passed away
and those who went astray
those who did not send you one
I know but Blah Humbug! is somewhat fun
Have to send to relatives who are rich
and to all family so no one will b...snitch
and to the one who pays your paycheck
Holiday seasons can be a brown nose l...a doodle do
And for the non Christians on your list
sending Thanksgiving cards is the best
No checks, cash or gift cards in 2022
a greeting is all you can afford to do
Edit twice and how many do you need
looks like your down to two or three
Save on stamps and spit
Looks like it's gonna be a Merry Christmas
