Premium Member Shooting Stars' Blessings

With shooting stars’ blessings* beyond celestial, I praise God with all my heart
Since His assured sufficiency-goodness for me will never depart
I believe that He will grant each of my desire:
And everything that for His honour I earnestly aspire
To stay constantly in the center of His perfect will
While in His compassion-care I'll keep still;
To fulfill His assigned task for me He has uniquely designed
As in His satisfaction I serenely bask to which I willingly resigned.

Midst shooting stars’ heavenly presence, I'll worship the Lord by His grace
Loving Him with my spirit, soul and strength all the days...
Hence, I yield to Him, upon faith's fervency, my supplication-filled hopes
Knowing that He knows what's best beyond my mind's scopes:
The complete recovery of my loved ones thru His divine miracle healing
Also the full restoration of those who are spiritually ailing, falling and failing;
The remarkable progress and developmental milestones of my special child
As well as those undergoing therapy, rehabilitatively-styled.

Never bereft of divine shooting stars’ experience, I press on toward victory
Guided by the guidance of Christ I must exalt for His glory...
Therefore, to His approval do I submit my dreams
Verily aware that His omniscience can overtake my vision-beams:
Foremost is the realization of an ever-ready service-providing foundation
Benefiting mankind thru its effective welfare-geared function;
Another, though not actually impossible, is the wondrous visit to the Holy Land
Where my Saviour humanly resided according to what Sovereign had planned.

Along spiritual shooting stars’ glow, I'll serve my Creator midst challenges
Since I'm called to live for Him with His power-charges...
So then I cast to Him my worries and doubts for the future
In my faithful stewardship devotion He alone can nurture:
Fruitfulness of ministry-involvement despite hardships
Earnestness of my prayer-consecration thru heavenly partnerships;
Persistence in every discipleship-engagement
Diligence in labouring for His kingdom's advancement.

*Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

Premium Member New Year Hopes and Dreams

For His blessings for the past, I praise God with all my heart
Trusting Him that this year, His goodness for me will never depart...
Thus, I believe that He will grant each of my desire
And everything that for His honour I earnestly aspire:
To stay constantly in the center of His perfect will
While in His compassion-care I'll keep still;
To fulfill His assigned task for me He has uniquely designed
As in His satisfaction I serenely bask to which I willingly resigned.

Gratefully, I'll worship the Lord this New Year, by His grace
Loving Him with my spirit, soul and strength all the days...
Hence, I yield to Him, upon faith's fervency, my supplication-filled hopes
Knowing that He knows what's best beyond my mind's scopes:
The complete recovery of my Dad's well-being thru His divine miracle healing
Also the full restoration of those who are spiritually ailing, falling and failing;
The remarkable progress and developmental milestones of my special child
As well as those undergoing therapy, rehabilitatively-styled.

By the guidance of the Master, I press on toward victory
Magnifying His name for His exaltation and glory...
Therefore, to His approval do I submit my dreams
Verily aware that His omniscience can overtake my vision-beams:
Foremost is the realization of an ever-ready service-providing foundation
Benefiting mankind thru its effective welfare-geared function;
Another, though not actually impossible, is the wondrous visit to the Holy Land
Where my Saviour humanly resided according to what Sovereign had planned.

Upheld by the wise Creator, I'll serve Him now and onward midst challenges
Since I'm called to live for Him with His power-charges...
So then I cast to Him my worries and doubts for the future
In my faithful stewardship devotion He alone can nurture:
Fruitfulness of ministry-involvement despite hardships
Earnestness of my prayer-consecration thru heavenly partnerships;
Persistence in every discipleship-engagement
Diligence in labouring* for His kingdom's advancement.

*Acts 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Premium Member The Interview

THE INTERVIEWER:
Thank you for the privilege of this interview.
There are hundreds of others you could have chosen.
I am deeply moved and inspired by how you have come
to terms with your demise. We all must someday face
our death, but far too few of us learn to do it well.
Of your many years, what do you feel that you have
contributed most to society and especially your community?

The INTERVIEWEE:
Before answering, I must say that it is my hope that when
I have deceased, I won't be allowed to remain standing as
a lifeless statue. May I be cut down and utilized as wood
for warmth or lumber for buildings.

I trust that I have contributed to an atmosphere of trust;
The freedom that any person of any stripe can come and
sit right up to my trunk, benefiting from my shade and
the purity of air and say anything they which, never
having to worry if it will ever be repeated again.

The INTERVIEWER:
Many of us give much thought to longevity with little
concern about legacy. You have enjoyed a long life
and have produced much fruit so vital in the nuts industry.
Over the years, you have grown the most tasteful and nutritious
pecans. Initially, you referenced being made useful after your
demise. What do you have further to say about yourself
relative to legacy?

The INTERVIEWEE:
As a tree, I have been aware of every leaf that fell and
blew across the landscape; of every limb broken from me
for any purpose by any person or by the wind; of every
seed that fell to the ground. Being thus aware, I think
that I treasure most the seeds that fell, knowing that
They represent not the end of me but a new beginning.
That is why I pray that each seed that falls will somehow
find its way and beat a path to the right soil and depth that
will give them a fighting chance at life. Both they and I know
that they are fighting for me and my legacy. That is the primary
reason my friend that I am able to die well and peacefully.

THE INTERVIEWER:
Thank you, sir. Our readers will be pleased to hear what
you had to say.

Vanity

Vanity
A poem about vanity in life inspired by Ancient Greek Wisdom

As I wake up abruptly every single dawn
With my body still asleep on futility’s lawn
My spirit needs a fiery, enervating quick jolt
To nail down my awareness with God’s divine bolt

And as the day’s continuity progresses slowly
My frail mind transforms my soul silently
To seek our Father’s love and compassion
And His heavenly treasure and full passion

Oh! supreme vanity, goddess of futility
You mark our short life most eloquently
As you guide us with your values and premises
To consider all matters without the goal of destiny

For without God’s divine purpose and infinity
All life ends up in the turbulent waterways of vanity
Waiting, with no end, for the pleasure of happiness
Disregarding all elements of ethics and human wellness

Oh! Greatest vanity of glorious vanities
How weak you make the old and the wise
How you bond us all well with divine fate
How silly you make men who think they are great

Dearest God, bless us to be, in our life, mighty
So that we express our goodness to all needy
For without Your words we are all bereft totally
Waiting our final turn in the valley of dire mortality

Taking into deep consideration the following ancient Greek sayings:
1. By Aristotle: ‘Suffering becomes beautiful when anyone bears great calamities with cheerfulness, not through insensibility but through greatness of mind’.
2. By Plato: ‘Eternal time is the only truth while what happens in our world are icons of vanity of our emotions’.
3. By Empedocles: ‘You must plunge beneath your crowded thoughts and calmly contemplate the higher realities with pure, focused attention. If you do this, a state of inspired serenity will remain with you throughout your life, shaping your character and benefiting you in so many ways. But if you direct your attention instead to the trivial things most people obsess about, the silly nonsense that dulls their minds, you’ll just acquire more objects which you’ll only lose anyway’.

True Friends

I ask myself what are some friends really for in your life
When really and truly some are around for what they can gain
Some are only interested in benefiting from you
Some really don't care if they cause you pain

A true friend does not envy you for anything that you have
They don't get red eyes for the new car that you bought
They don't carry any form of information to your girlfriend
Instead when cheating they cover you so you don't get caught

No one is really perfect we all tell lies at one point
But no matter what your friend always tells you the truth
And when other people play hypocrite about your looks
Your true friend is not afraid to tell you if you are not cute

Only your true friends will be honest with you at all times
They tell you as it is and will always give you an honest answer
Your true friend will always ride or die for you that's a promise
No matter how bad even if diagnosed with aids or cancer

I have had experiences in life with people that I thought were friends
But after the long run with them found out that they were really fake
Some wished me a good night when going to bed at nights
When deep down in the morning they wish that I didn't wake

But like a ball kicked against a wall I did bounce back
And it’s a good feeling to know who my friends are today
They try always to offer me sound advice and opinions
And like a true friend always listen to what I have to say

So when you do have good friends appreciate them at all times
Because they are not like fake friends they don’t come and go
I have had bad experiences when it comes to friends in the past
But I have good friends in my life now and this is what I know

So I take the time to pour champagne and raise a glass to my friends
I especially salute the ones that stood beside me over the years
The ones that helped to pick me up off the ground when I fell
And most of all to the ones when i cried was there to wipe my tears

Life As A Highway Robber

Escape from captivity pulled off
     when I came of age
boyhood begrudged,
     and bested by brigandage,

but willpower sans declaration
     of independence begot bravery
     against British brutes
     bridging caper (involving collusion)

     to bust loose from cage,
and trappings forcibly to plunder artworks
     and sculpted treasures
     by classical masters

     without causing damage
taught by professional thieves
     requiring minimal equipage
whereat over time footage

sordid memory constantly replayed
     plunder and pillage unwittingly
     fostering getaway
     from hell raising gambits

     planting seed to gauge
optimal instance
     to feign criminal shenanigans
running rampant with militant spunky gangs

     "FAKING" das spies zing
     trumpeting hostage killing
and taking, nonetheless
     swallowing bitter pill

     reeking havoc as honorable image
in order to survive
     within world wide
web of criminals (especially

     an unwelcome foreigner),
     where skills as buccaneer
really put to test, and tried
maximum lawlessness partaken

in (dolled up) guise suppressing shied
pitifull looking indigent vagabond
     self away by donning
     "FAKE" whippersnapper
benefiting getting to sally and ride
always exuding patriotic pride

pleasing ghosts of founding fathers
against their autonomy from
     crown weathering woe be chide
recrimination impossible

     to enforce as bride
of Lady Liberty opened arms for those,
     who made dangerous journey
across avast ocean

     only to confront (whodunit) thuggery
this lifestyle raping, looting,
     and burning WITHOUT choice,
     but guilt aye didst abide.

Premium Member How Sweet It Is: The Word of God

Awesomely sweet is God’s Word* to my soul
Benefiting beyond Milky Way’s role
Curbing cravings for Charleston Chew pleasure
Delightful dainty more than Dove for sure
Enriched with wisdom, not of Smarties load
Fortified to triumph along Rocky Road.
Glazed by divine savor above Pay Day’s
Heavenly taste of Lifesavers with grace
Irresistible midst Heath’s rich flavor
Joy-source from holiness’ Spree and favor
Kindling activeness more than Kit Kat’s might
Lifting spirit is God’s precept-insight!
Mouthwatering Mounds can’t surpass Scriptures
Nourishing Now and Later faith-ventures
Over limitless Take 5 service grants
Pleasant, devoid of Starburst sour rants
Quelling stress much better than Skittles
Relishing prayer times midst Nerds-rattles!
Satiating trust-appetite’s fervency
Thrilling not just tongue as does Galaxy
Unmatched are the Lord’s statutes-nourishment
Value-filled, it exceeds Skor’s fulfillment…
Well-coated with Zero sin-calories
X-raying heart midst Snicker victories
Yonder Mr. Good Bar’s yummy cheerfulness
Zooming beyond 100 Grand preciousness!

*Psalm 119:103 How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

Indeed, the Word of God is absolutely sweeter than all those delightful sweets - candies and chocolates- combined (Psalm 119:103). The Lord be thanked, praised, and glorified for making His Word available for our salvation, spiritual growth, sanctification, and service-steadfastness!

The First 30 Days

Forget the First 48, how ‘bout the first 30 days, smh.

How is it that the House that has ALL the control is so out of control?
How is it that we got an elderly grandfather acting like a kid with a new case of ink pens?
With less than two weeks on the job and with all that is going on in the country, how is attending the Super Bowl a priority, and riding around the Daytona 500 racetrack benefiting our country? It's more like a senior citizen acting like a 12 year old that has never been let outside as a child.
Because of the Musketeers and the disarray, this "house" has more lawsuits piled up in the first 30 days than the days in the month. People not knowing what’s the deal, so many court cases and appeals.

The amount of disrespect and threatening to take away federal fundings from states who don't wanna play and do what you say, is wrong on so many levels.
How are things great or even better when so many people are getting a "You fired" letter?

Inflation, allegations, discrimination, immigration, mass deportations, ICE not so nice…
Thirty days, what a splatter, even his supporters doesn’t matter. Now what are they to do, when they are the ones being let go too. You was a fan, did you think you were exempt? Thousands upon thousands are being fired, now they are left wondering who else is hiring. Prices are soaring, eggs are $37.00 a dozen…

Mishandling, dismantling... FYI, no DEI, they coming for the CFPB, the NOAA, FAA, USAID, Medicaid (CMS), no appreciation for the Dept of Education, the NIH, the DoD, the CDC, the IRS in a big mess, EPA, FDA, the VA, FEMA, NASA and even more in store.

You knew what kind of chaos it was the last time so I don’t know why anybody is surprised. Awww, and you thought it was going to be better the second time around. Well, all I can say is, there is Power in Prayer.
Buckle up... and to think, this is only the first 30 days, smh.

Mankind

6/26/22

Easy or difficult to see right
Got rest with ease or a struggle to sleep at night
Always rude or someone that actually treats life
Like it's precious, regardless if others will never be nice
You're in the clear or done from three strikes
A person proud to be sober or an addict still hitting the weed pipe
Another bull item worth too much or useful for a cheap price
It occurred in the dark or near the glow of streetlights

All this crap yikes
Yeah, that's life
Always out of my damn mind
Why can't I?
Stay sober, I'm always drunk and high
Rarely ever do I keep it on standby
How am I, benefiting mankind?
If I can't even remember last night
One second I'm Jekyll the next I am Hyde
Bringing out my bad side
No fool to it all, I haven't been that blind
Or in need of a flashlight
If I try, It'll be fair or a landslide

It always takes work
Every day berserk
Losing interest in wanting to stay on Earth
What's keeping me from wanting to lay in dirt?
May not see it in my eyes or face, but in my heart is pain and hurt

No matter if they consider me another lost one
Why has it often been not fun
Sought love
Got none
Will do no good to end it all with a Shotgun
Battles I've fought some
Constant problems I faced unable to walk from

Still running into brick walls
Always the pitfalls
To hell with it all

Ego deflated, why has so much time been wasted
It's still the same s***
Dang it
I'd always treat her like she is sacred
But I'm still hated and degraded
Given no time of day by women across the nation
Yet, I'd give the shirt off my back a helping hand always aided
Is this truly what I'm fated?
My eyes dilated
Endless loneliness why must I embrace this?
It was new or archaic
I already painted mosaics
Switched it up and changed quick
Instead of the basics
