Ship of Doom

" Ship of Doom "

Ship of doom so sailed to sea ~
Dark her course... 'twas meant to be ~

Into seas this great ship sped ~
Her past... her history... of naught but dread ~
O'er those waves her bows did'st cleave ~
Her memories... but silken webs to weave ~

Thunder on her decks was heard ~
Yet sailors aboard spake no word ~
For ship such as she was doomed thus so~
Gone north into winds then fierce a'blow ~

Down her bows crept steadily then ~
None to know which verse thus then ~
For rime was abound on her decks those days ~
Yet aloft was fire seen from her stays ~

Off afar from crow's nest was hailed ~
As below in her belly that crew did bail ~
For her planks ridden with dark worm & rot ~
Such ship did'st sail from whence known not ~

Far corner o'globe she ran from ever ~
Home her port seen oft yet never ~
Equator her line of happenchance ~
Capricorn her thought yet not her stance ~

Now she sails a spars a'glisten ~
A'deck her men all a'listen ~
Now speaks thus such sorrowful ship ~
With voice akin to crackin' o'whip ~

Hail! Ye Lads.... heartily all ~
Sail we've had & such so a'ball ~
Now deep down Davy Jones' way ~
I'm thus bound this cold north day ~

My sprit I drive now into next wave ~
Darkness & silence I do now crave ~
Gone from me now pleazure o'sound aloft ~
For me hull is naught but now gone soft ~

I'll seek that bottom at sea's very depths ~
Were there I'll find my wager thus kept ~
With devil I’ve played throughout these years ~
Now I’ll so lay to rest all such fears ~

Sail with me now lads & lasses bold all ~
Into realms which di'dst us then enthrall ~
Gone only now our fine spark & fire ~
Quenched so by life's sodden quagmire ~

Off now go we & heads look a'forard ~
To see what 'twas behind & now not toward ~
Rocks... reefs... depth’s sandy shoals ~
These so now our woe begotten goals ~

So to break up these planks hath caused me to live ~
For as ship o'the main I was once known to give ~
Now all such gone with wild sea's winds ~
As now my time... mirrors death's sins ~

Down down down do I speed ~
In need o'sleep... dark do I need ~
Run now quickly from my decks so I say ~
Or with me in devil's depths ye shall play ~

Bouzouki in hand I now last am at rest ~
For with song always I have been best ~
Tsifteteli my dance so join me now so ~
For life is naught that which e'er we'll know ~

Love Aligns

Love Aligns

Of names given at birth, one blooms special.
Mary seems to me a popular name.
Common folks and royalty likewise called.
But no two named Mary are quite the same.

A young girl named Mary lived righteously.
By God she was favored, is history.
She willingly bore God's begotten son.
Obscure to man…virgin birth mystery.

Infant queen, Mary of Scotland, betrothed,
Had escaped Henry the Viii rough wooing.
Life's whirlwinds, deaths and romance havocked her life.
Politics sent beheading ensuing.

Mary Read of Devon County, England
Surrounded by death, raised as a boy.
Captured by pirates of the Caribbean Sea,
Became a pirate herself, lived wild joy.

Mother and Daughter, writers named Mary,
Mary Wollstonecraft, swayed by T. Paine, wrote
"A Vindication of the Rights of Woman," (1792)
The thoughts of a mother, by death made remote.

Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, sweet sixteen,
Strong spirited, influenced by her mom
Left home to be Percy's mistress…outcast.
Sorrows in life are Frankenstein's where-from.

Mary Anning, a woman paleontologist,
Prepared fossils from Jurassic era beds.
Well-known by geologists, financially poor,
Put new ideas in scientific thinkers heads.

Famous women named Mary nowadays abound.
From Mary Anne on Gilligan's Island
To Mary Poppins flying through the air.
Each Mary, in her own way has some life brightened.

All of the women I have presented herein.
Have one thing in common: strength and chagrin.
But, there is not one Mary I read about or met.
Whose loves like my grandmother's was fashioned.

She, was a woman of strength, strong will, and *****.
But, tenderly, she comforted many a tear.
Teaching young children from her sewing machine,
She consistently worked to keep family near.

She offered fresh fruit from the family tree.
I know her sweetness from Heaven shines.
Without her love, I wonder where I would be.
When I hear the name Mary, love aligns.

Collaborating In the Clouds

~A Question To The Most High~
Why did you not wipe out Adam and Eve?
And save us the trials that the evil conceive
Why not start your creation anew
Then all this pain and sorrow would be through.

“I gave a perfect man and woman to fill the earth
They threw the gift in my face as if nothing of worth
Tempted away by one traitorous angelic son
But to balance things out I sent my only begotten one.”

Why may I inquire did things go so ill?
“That’s because I gave them this thing called free will.
One Angel up high wanted to take my place
He tempted Adam and Eve by showing his face.”

“He appeared as a snake and promised them all
They were new inexperienced that was their downfall
They did as the young do, never asked advice
They were trapped by their actions in a grip like a vice.”

But God may I ask why did you not act and remove them?
You could have created a new couple and started again.
“This devil, once angel, said man would love me for what I could give
So to prove to the angelic realm I am God, I let them live…”

“I can only prove by stepping aside and letting him try
To turn man from me, I must watch and I must sigh.
My only begotten son Jesus, I sent for a ransom
To balance the perfect life Adam lost, and then some”

“Note this, what I say, my son I did send on that auspicious day
He is not God to whom so many pray.
I am God the father, he is my son,
You can only get to me by directing your prayers through this one”

But God they keep telling us you are a trinity!
“Don’t be foolish I am God alone and I am not three
I have Holy Spirit, I can direct it where I will
I have my first begotten son and my divine spirit still.”

“I am God, God alone ruling heavens and the earth
But I have stepped aside for a while, so the traitor can show his worth
He is the cause, this one they call Devil and Satan
He declared my plan for man, was bad and mistaken.”

“So I am letting him try and before I step back in
I will right all the wrong, and remove all the sin
You will now leave this place and tell all earthling man
Stay faithful and strong and to you do what you can.

Faith the assured expectation of things not seen but will come
Leave, Come no more, my Will, will be done.”

Today is true as any other, that Christ's sacrifice is the only truth that proclaims victoriously,
the deliverance of eternal death, my only means of salvation, for him willingly embracing
God's wrath, and receiving the punishment of my sins, as a warrior he faced death.
Asking forgiveness for the ones, who greedily tortured and mortally wounded, but in all this
he had control, His life was freely given.
An insurmountable sacrifice, the KING of KING'S has risen! and into me he so humbly
brought, the embrace of his perfect love and attention, even though my self-induced lusts
after sin. have removed me so far from God's perfect will, leaving me completely depraved,
bruised, and hopelessly broken.
Please God forgive this blatant sinner, the wounds i've endured i'm so ashamed, have all
been self-inflicted.
Please God wash me new, in the blood of your son Christ Jesus, placing me as a new
creation in the body of Christ, when truly i've earned God's judgement and wrath.
Praise and glory always be to the one, he conquered death and gave me a new life, he freed
me from myself, and from eternal damnation, he offers the gift of deliverance, how can i be
so ungrateful as to continue in my sin?
And yet you pour out your perfect love, grace and mercy, and discipline me when i need it,
and i am so eternally grateful, because without you life is darkness into which i wish i was
never created, but all things through you there is victory, so glory and power, and praise be
to you, you've delivered delivered me from death.
You picked me up and brushed me off, and told me "it would be o.k., but if i followed you i
would endure hate and persecution, for proclaiming your salvation.
But hey if God's got your back, your a Warrior of Victory, His light destroys all fear, there is
nothing that man can do to rip God's love away", your KINGDOM come, your WILL be done,
on EARTH as it is in HEAVEN.
Make me your disciple, because removed from you i am openly wicked, self absorbed, drug
induced, a pitiful abomination.
All power praise and eternal glory, i am forever grateful, though i constantly stumble, may i
humbly repent in the name of your only begotten son, CHRIST JESUS.
Your indescribable gift to spend eternity with you, under your perfect rule, praise be to God
for your free gift of salvation.

Premium Member How Does the Soul Enter Heaven

God invites everyone to go to heaven!
Such is His desire, design and delight
along with His offered compassion
marked with grace, mercy, peace and forgiveness
packed in His gift of eternal life.

The Bible declares in John 3:16:
"For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life."

God welcomes each one to His heavenly abode!
This is made possible by faith in the Saviour Jesus Christ
Who paid the price for such entrance
through His precious sacrifice: His death on the cross.

According to the Scriptures which I fully believe
“To be absent from the body
is to be present with the Lord…”*
The soul enters heaven after earthly breath ceases
separating from the mortal body
to dwell with God in heaven forever.

Since faith in the Saviour matters most
I then must put my trust in Jesus Christ
“The way, the truth, the life…
fully relying on His assertion that
“No man cometh unto the Father, but by me…”**

Having known that God by His love
already opened heaven’s doors to sinners like me
I did never miss the opportunity
of accepting His gift of eternal life***
for life everlasting means heavenly citizenship.

Now, I’m assured of secured fellowship with the Almighty
as my blessed soul is ready to enter heaven
when He calls me to live in the mansion
the Saviour prepared there in His Father’s house****
for all those who believe in Him.

That is what I testify triumphantly
through Gospel declaration of hopeful bliss
toward freedom from transgression-bondage
‘til eternity in heaven, even beyond forever.

*2Corinthians 5:8 We are confident,… and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
**John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
***Romans 6:23 … The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
**** John 14: 1-2 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Walls Poems For Poem a Thon 2018

April 2 Walls

Trump wants a wall
Between America and Mexico

A wall against the southern hordes
A wall based on fear and hate

A wall to make America safe
A wall to make America great again

And yet I wonder
Will his wall fall

Like the Berlin wall
And the great wall

And all the other walls
They all failed
All of them

Walls divide us
Walls make us
Into different tribes

Between the pure
And the impure

St Reagan
Said Tear Down this Wall

Will future Presidents
Tear down this begotten wall

Or will it become a tourist attraction
Another great wall
Against barbarian hordes

April 2 Trump’s Wall Against Reason
The President wants to build a wall
Against the southern hordes
Another great wall
To keep the barbarians out

He wants to build a wall
Against reason
Against science
Against the modern world

Hiding behind the wall
On the southern border

Desperately trying to keep them out
The unwashed masses
The undocumented
The illegals

Streaming across the border
Seeking to wreck the pure land
Murderous hordes
Rapists, drug dealers

Coming to take our land over
As he stands on the border
Trying to stop the hordes himself

April 2 It Has Been Done Before

Before Trump’s Wall
There were many other walls

The Berlin Wall
The Great Wall
Hadrian’s Wall

All the walls of the ancient world
All failed
To keep the enemies out

The enemies of freedom
The enemies of the state
Still came across the border
To loot, steal, rape and plunder

And nothing could stop
The flood of history

April 2 Walls Divide Us

In Modern America
We all live in gated communities
Trying desperately to keep them out

Out of sight
Out of mind
And out of our lives

And yet we fail
Fail to accept the others
Are human beings
Are our fellow creatures

As we wall ourselves off
Into our separate communities

We loose our humanity
And we loose our selves

As we hide in our walls
Hide in our bubbles

April 2 Mr. Trump

Please tear down this wall
Please open up your heart
Please stop this madness

We are all Americans
We are all one people
And your wall
Will not stop us
From becoming one people

Please tear down this wall
Please build bridges to the future
Please open your heart
And let the love shine through

A Storm In Heaven, Sections 19-24

"If the drinks rob her balance from her beautiful feet
there my arms will be outstretched for her to meet
And each season we spend apart from the other
I will think of her always and never another
No matter how I long to see her once more
And talk to her for hours on the second floor
Each moment with her a memory unforgotten
By this mind so twisted by love begotten

Oh, I know well the struggle of love unreturned
Another man she loves, but how to deal I’ve learned
Silence is a price not easily bought in such times
And my feelings are punished as emotional crimes
Never to know if her mind will someday turn
And fear and loathing in my heart do churn
This has caused me trouble in the sleepless nights I hold
But these will deter me when the flames of hell are cold

A girl like this one I have never met before
And I have heavy doubts that this world contains more
No matter the lengths and the pains I must endure
I will wait for her forever, this I know for sure
In my very bones, and no deeper feeling have I felt
In all my failed ventures, as if my heart could melt
Such a condition is so difficult to explain
But it lies in everything she does contain

Her smile that lights the darkest hour
Her voice that raises me from days so dour
Her eyes that sparkle in so unique a way
And her hair that cascades as the falls by the bay
Her every aspect enchants me wholly
And so I devote myself unto her fully
I desire no other for no other would I need
the pursuit of someone else no longer taking seed

I know that she doesn’t love this face
And I ask not for it at such a pace
But rather the chance for my value to be weighed
And if this is too much to ask then I shall fade
Into the mists of this rainy Cleveland night
Knowing in my heart that my love was right
Even if I must be a friend for always after
My love will still echo in the sounds of our laughter”

I knew not what to say to man who loved so fiercely
But I took his words for gospel before his gaze could pierce me
And so I saw his oath made on the evening cold and wet
Not a word from his mouth that night do I forget
From then on he strove with every ounce of his soul
To do everything in his power to achieve his goal
Lyla Dawson, stunning smart and loved by all
But never have I thought she heard my poor friend’s call

As begotten rapturous vibrant

Should I not let my eyes

As my heart’s pupil of febrile eyes
Dives in your endless ocean
of LOVE to be drowned in ecstasy

My Beloved,
My fervent Solemn passion
My hunger has become a fain of fasting
My Darling,
Your Lips, a provocative budding beauty
which Loves to flaunts itself

As My hearts infinite tender majesty
Shalt illuminate the Devine promise of bliss
As it echoes in eternity,
As my heart decorate the tent of LOVE

My Bleating Heart

Modern day scoffers say,
only the strong will survive
That the weak will be eaten alive
Only T-Rex,
cold-blooded logic will thrive

The talking serpents e-vol hiss,
instincts of compassion and kindness won’t abide
Forgiveness is viewed as fleece clothing
to bear skins
sin cloaked in naked pride
Warmly showing forth utter soft, sheer love
will get an Abel body devoured by crocodile eyes
Whose gator jaws have teeth
sharp as knives

Carnivore minded thinkers believe those
with the most leopard spots
will claw ruthlessly
to the genome mountaintop

But, my bleating heart
was verily, second Adam told
this was not so

From the dawn mist of Eden’s birth,
the first paradise promise
spoke the Gospel truth —
That the meek will inherit the Earth

New Age Sadducees tout,
how the wolves were gonna turn
the Moon glow red
Make the ewe reflection of the sunlight
get darkened instead

Tho’ the Son still shine on the wolfsbane,
genetic scorners mock in vain ...
Derisively baring the fang,
spouting ebb-and-flow abysmal theories
Cloned Dolly insane

Boast howl those silver tongues
were green changing, cheatah fast,
the wavy blue to bright crimson
Like grisly paw mouths of the past

Raptor grip moneychangers
who prey devoured the pray fittest least —
Faith impoverished lost sheep,
who idol strayed
into the coin belly of the beast

But, my poor, bleating heart
was verily, verily, Lamb of God boldly Amen told:
The pyramid scheme/food chain feast,
to saber tooth prowl
evilly for eternity,
won’t ever Last Supper be Red Sea parted possible

Oh, my bleating heart
was verily, verily, double blessed told:
That the Resurrection Exodus was in the sheepfold
Good Shepherd voice activated, ready to go

Yes, my enriched, bleating heart
was surely comforted gently by buried wisdom gold
Three-day-old alabaster ointment
(that was dirt price sold)
caught the tiger by the evolutionary tale,
I was so graciously Only Begotten revival pulse told

Mercy green pastures of meek hope
wasn’t grazed for woolly naught
Ere crucifixion teardrop thought
got turned into a beautiful, Salvation pearl

When every saintly flock
closed eye awaken joyously,
(with bloodstain-free,
sin clean fleece,)
there will be no predators in the new world
