As blessings serenade
Only if mountains could lend me some height,
Only if morning sunshine could confer any bright,
Will then my heart beat for His forever glory,
Or my colour would simply fade in pride;
and astound people that close-by reside ?
He wobbles turbulence in the wild sea,
Chills out the fiercest of all blazing plea,
creating golden history in one stride.
beauty of nature
as fragrance poises in air,
Virginal chirp of sparrows,
Sinless pure colours
and tender pristine flowers,
Sing hymns in His reverence.

For "Three style III" contest by Laura loo
One couplet- AA
One rhyming stanza- ABBAAB
One Sedoka- 5-7-7-5-7-7 unrhymed
We dont have to use our voice to scream
Because a voice isn't just words
It's art, it's our presence, it's how we exist
It's being unapologetically black
Our presence is like the rain after a drought
And the rain nourishes the ground
It's like walking into a room and it's brought back to life
Where once was darkness, has now been replaced with light
It's like the changing of seasons
From winter to spring
Where the dry land blossoms
The flowers bring back the colour
Where you can't help but admire
The beauty of nature
A black persons presence is an honour
Because we make the world brighter
Our words written in permanent marker
Acting as our armor
But also as a constant reminder
That no matter what they throw at us we will always prosper
And that is one of our greatest powers
Born through the strength of our ancestors
To tell the truth of hidden history
And generational mistreatment of our people
And most importantly our voice is how we love ourselves
It overrides their hateful noise
Because love has always been louder than hate
Especially when their racism was conceived through envy
It's why the hate when we find out the real enemy
It was never us, it was always about their white fragility
Ever growing burning jealousy
It's why we're burdened with their hate we carry
So there is no room left for love, something along the way we had to bury
The soft wind climbs higher into the air
And stays there swirling around the world,
In a flow that floats through the atmosphere
Watering earth with rain from the clouds.
The soft wind blows upon the tress
Shaking the leaves falling to the ground,
A gathering that comes with constant ease
dropping limp and dead without a sound.
Bright colours turned pale and loitering
Spoiled and sprawling along the paths
Where the beauty of nature is preparing
Another descaling from the remnant left.
A soft wind comes like a friend to pretend
When all is well, in whose lives they dwell
And tries to hide the sting to bring an end
Within the being of a realm deep as hell.
Listless lips brightly blowing fiery kisses
The trail of bewitchment leads to poverty
soft and wet, some faces have near misses
finds truth before mortality makes mockery.
Thanks Lord,
For The Burden

In the solitude
of my wretched soul,
God, always appears as love.
Not always wrapped
in the beauty of nature,
Or hidden in clouds above.
Sometimes He's the face
of a starving child,
though silent, speaking to me.
Gently pleading
won't you please help?
From that which I've blessed thee.
At times He's seen
in some homeless face,
on the street whose bed is made.
While I enjoy
the comforts of a home,
they're thankful for just a shade.
At meal time
when I face that choice,
of which satisfying treat.
Their choice, unlike mine,
will not be what
but rather if they eat.
Deep within my heart
I struggle still,
for those living in despair.
So many people
hands outstretched,
it seems so few to care.
In letting me, Lord,
see and feel their pain,
I know exactly what I must do.
For in showing compassion
for my fellow man,
I demonstrate my love for You.

The morning's rising sun looms above the hills.
My breath catches in my throat and fulfills.
Warblers are an attractive bonus to the garden.
Their delicate melodies offer a lovely lyrical pardon.
The oak vine is adorned with crimson clematis.
Its aromatic splendor is a sight that grabs us.
A waltz in the breeze, with feathers fluttering.
As butterflies cope with a wind dance spluttering.
Yet, alas, it's late, and my task needs to start.
I reluctantly step away from the natural art.
I find comfort in the morning serenade.
Calm before the time of the promenade.
The sun's golden rays kiss my face,
Guiding me forward with gentle grace
In the day's tasks that lie ahead,
But in my heart, nature's song is still spread.
Though my steps may be heavy, my spirit is light.
The morning symphony will carry me through the fight.
The melodies of birds linger in my ears.
Their harmonies calm any fears.
The beauty of nature is a constant reminder.
That there's much into life than merely a grinder.
So as I start my work with a cumbrous heart,
I'll hold onto the morning symphony's art.
One powerful tree stands alone on the hillside,
Colorful like a rainbow that is so very bright,
A perfect picture of an excellent painter,
Captured by lens on a sunny September.
Colors blending with a fantastic view,
Red, orange, yellow, combined with green and blue,
Even fairies will adore this beauty of nature,
Calming our souls refreshes our heart so pure.

For Poet Undertaker's "Nature" Contest
4th Place Winner
I wonder if there was no music
Just how or lives would be
No singing in the morning
From birds up in the trees
No songs to say I love you
You are my world, my light
Nothing to lift your spirit
When you're feeling dark as night
How would we say what's in our hearts
When we cannot find the words
Our joy oursorrow and our pain
How would we ever be heard?
How would we explain the beauty of nature
Everything that we see
If there had been no music
Around for you and me.
And how would we praise Jesus
Who died for all our sins
And all the angels in heaven
What songs would they have to sing
Life without ?? (music) is nothing
So I thank God 4??(music)
Because ??(music) is everything

Amidst the rolling hills and verdant green,
Lies a land of arcane, almost Xanadu if seen.
A place of ariose where dreams are born,
And the sun rises each day as an auric crown.
In this Elysian land, time seems to stand still.
Worries and troubles fade away, as if by will.
Here, one can find peace and tranquility.
The beauty of nature is its canorous serenity.
Glory in magenta and gold hues in the sky
The birds emit an opera of tunes as they fly.
The aroma of fresh flowers floods the air.
Trees soar high, their limbs rising in a blare.
Going upward, I have faith in my heart.
Through gloomy slopes and twisty parts.
The peaks are starting to come into sight.
Their tops were aurified with golden light.
I wander through this nebulous land of bliss.
And fathom a sensation of perspicuous peace.
I realize that I have embedded my idyllic place,
An oasis of diaphanous passion and grace.
Almost akin to Xanadu, an island of dreams.
It motivates me with whispered schemes.
The seal of the blessing of a utopian paradise
A realm where loveliness is eternal never dies.
I Am a Time Waster.
I Love to laze away the day.
But I Am Happy. Yea I am A Happy Man.
I have time to appreciate the beauty of Nature,
Never in a hurry. I like to take my time.
I have time to spend with my loving pets.
Time enough to communicate with them, and to play with them.
Time to Feed them. Time to surf the net.
Time to write Poetry and read poems.
Time for Dominoes. Time to Lime. Time to waste.
Time to help others wherever I can. To help someone along the way.
Time to rescue an animal.
Time to hail a friend. Time to chat.
Time to check up on the cricket scores
Or Watch cricket. Time to enjoy a movie or a good documentary.
Time to eat and drink. Time to laugh. Time to joke.
Time to daydream and reminisce. Time to go to bed. Time to sleep. Time to dream.
Time to think of doin something else. Time to end this poem........this story.
Dance like a tree
Is a beautiful day,
Sitting under an African palm tree,
Enjoying the fresh air,
The sun shines so beautiful,
Relaxing with my back on the grass,
Watching nature like a tv,
Is so amazing to feel life from the trees,
As they dance freely to the air,
I feel and hear awesome sounds,
while the trees move to the waves of the air,
The earth is a beautiful planet,
When you understand the beauty of nature,
The air is like a fuel to life,
Cos! you can't breath without it,
Still with greed, men pollute the air,
When I say nature is beautiful,
I mean it beyoud the sence of beauty,
To understand nature,
Require spirituality,
Air, Humans,
animal, plants,
The moon, sun,
clouds, sea,
river, forest,
sands, stone,
mountains, oil,
probably more,
All a family to nature,
When I watch the tree dance,
I tremble to my soul,
This creatures have no political system,
This creatures bear no grudge,
This creatures don't war against each other
They got no boss,
They got no government,
They don't worry,
Either do they struggle,
They grow with the energy of nature,
They held fruits from the source of nature,
Despite all,
Humans cut them down,
We destroy the life in them,
I wish if humans could be same,
I wish we all could become free like the tree,
I wish we could worry less and live more,
I wish we never war,
I wish the greed of men be turn to love,
I wish we could be free like nature permits,
I wish we could bear fruit of peace through nature,
I wish instead of a dance in a disco,
We could dance to the air,
Dancing away your sorrows,
Freely like the trees,
Without worries about tommorow,
Danceing like a tree,
A dance with love,
A dance with a pure heart,
Let your stress go,
Let your worries flee,
Let your heart be happy,
if you need to dance,
to the vibes of nature,
Then your got to,
Dance like a tree.
