Premium Member Skilled Evasion

Fly in the kitchen wiping its feet
Spreading germs for anyone to eat
In charges the dog on hearing a buzz
Hunting and chasing as a canine does

Snapping his teeth with persistent chase
New game to play at a sprightly pace
Jumping high his head flitting fast
Senses alert no barks did he blast

Evading capture the fly flits by
Snap goes the dog with another try
Picture that scene few more times
Stanza less of near repeated lines

A precision snap he caught the fly
Spits it out and it's still alive
Along the floor it staggers and wiggles
Almost drowns from doggy goo dribbles

Went to remove it but wasn't there
Maybe hiding, could be any where
Set to cleaning as dog settled down
Vacuumed in case fly body laid around

Suddenly from nowhere flying in the air
Wings now wonky but didn't seem to care
Through an open window flying swiftly out
Skilled in evasion - an ace flying scout.

lesson six

some days i’ll be up ready to go
and i’ll have a productive day
sometimes it won’t be so
i shouldn’t be hard on myself
go with the flow
life’s a roller coaster
it’s natural to feel low
and to be expected

when i look around my studio
sometimes i’ll have it all together
and agree to put on a show
other times i may feel
like i’m overcome with woe
i’ll have to ride it out
life’s one big rodeo
roll with the punches
go with the flow
always remember to
follow your rainbow

That's How the Cookie Crumbles

We always think it's he or she
Or they or them
We're scared to show our scars
Showcase our weakness as an emblem

What's mental health for?

Anxiety suffocating you everytime you breathe
But there's no escape no way to leave
We just have to "Stand tall, never grumble,
'Cuz that's just how the cookie crumbles."

That's how the cookie crumbles?

I speak up, and suddenly i’m a “clown”
I show my scars, and they say I'm soft
Why must mental unwellness take the crown?
It's not black not white it's clearly BROWN.

Let me tell you a story.

She laid her heart bare,
Stripped it down to its core,
Raw and trembling.
She trusted her
With the softest parts of her.
Then her secrets became
The school's hottest tea.

That sinking feeling,
The one that gnaws at her stomach,
The one that makes her feel sick
Because something sacred was shattered.

How was she supposed to forgive this?
The ragnarok of her life's work,
The end of everything she held close.
She saw others grow, move forward,
But she was frozen in the moment of betrayal.

Her words, their words, all of it
Wrapped around her soul.
She was humiliated.
Reduced to nothing.
Laughed at. Clowned.
And somehow she's still here carrying it all.

That's how the cookie crumbles?

They tell us to stay quiet,
To tuck our hurt neatly behind closed doors,
But what’s mental health for, then?
What’s left when we’ve folded ourselves so small
We barely remember our own shape?

Maybe it’s like she felt.
Trapped, tired, dragging invisible weights
That they’ll never see.
Keeping it together
While silently coming undone.

And yet, no one hears the splintering inside,
No one asks about the shadows we fight
Or sees the cracks we stitch with silence.

What if we spoke it out loud, held our pain high,
Refused to let silence seal our scars?
What if we held each other up
And dared to say,
This is what strength looks like?

Premium Member Bigger Than Myself

BIGGER THAN MYSELF

   When thoughts cease to flow
     where does ego go
       blowing bubbles of illusion,
         creating confusion.

All along tried to pull the trigger
to hit the bigger personality than mine,
so that I can adore, I can admire,
I can depend on a genuine adviser
     My idol, my mentor
to venture free in thorny journey of life
or atleast to love on dreamy desire.

I regret not to meet one in my familiar zone.
Searched and searched in vain only to rue.
Though true, interacted lot not few.
    If seemed bigger from far,
coming close got shocked to look at small aperture.

All around small pebbles rolling stumbling, mountain not to reach.
In the last phase I had to realize silhouette of ill fate
overshadowed me, being bigger than myself.
May be aromanticism floating in my heart
or narcissism is bubbing in my blood.

Premium Member LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY WORK PERFECTER

December 21 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Revelation 3-4

Key Verse– Revelation 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY WORK PERFECTER

Lord God, You are my work Perfecter by Your constant watching
Thank You for making me learn from Your Bible teaching
For me to overcome vain searching
And listen to Your Spirit of revival-preaching.

Lord God, You are my work Perfecter by Your holiness
Thank You for keeping me in Your Word’s preciousness
For me to abide around Your lovingkindness
And dwell inside Your patience from temptations’ hardness.

Lord God, You are my work Perfecter by Your promised crown-rewarding
Thank You for strengthening me while Your name I’m upholding
For me to serve You wholeheartedly through Your church of divine standing
And present to You my labour’s best according to Your righteous finding.

Lord God, You are my work Perfecter by Your spiritual enrichment
Thank You for giving me wealth with Your counsel’s commitment
For me to prioritize Your kingdom toward heavenly fulfillment
And seek You Who is the Source of my eternal contentment.

Lord God, You are my work Perfecter by Your voice of exhortation
Thank You for directing me well through Your instruction
For me to look upon Your face along faith’s illumination
And prosper further in my ministerial fruition.

Lord God, You are my work Perfecter by Your vision’s radiant sight
Thank You for enclosing me with Your presence day and night
For me to glorify and honour You along Your might
And submit to You, giving You praises devoid of arrogance-blight.

Lord God, You are my work Perfecter by Your standard of worship
Thank You for humbling me before Your omnipotent kingship
For me to receive blessings within Your fellowship
And delight always in Your offered partnership.

Our Cheryls Decree Nisi

Arms out stretched I reach for the sky
and spin like a childs spinning top
as the rain drips into my eyes.
Im set free , Im top of the world.

14 seconds is all that it took .
She had'nt got my x factor, but she had the looks.
To many photo's and paprazzi around.
And no double barrel surname for you to learn.

Ive already been replaced with the next young guy.
I wish him well and lots of luck.
Keeping a princess happy really tough
And I wonder if I have, nicoles number in my little black book.

There Is No One Like You

there is no one like you

no one can do the things you do

there's no need to wear a frown you never let us down

no one can do the things you do

your'e the one who understands you take us by the hand

there's no one like you

no one can do the things you do

what ever situation comes our way

you help us with it every day

there's no one like you

no one can do the things you do ther'e's no need to wear a frown you never let us down

I thank the Lord that he gave me theese words to sing, he never lets us down, he helps with
every situation we face he is always around no matter what, he loves you and welcomes you
anytime at all, all you have to do is give him a call. amen.

I Hate Christmas

I hate Christmas
Cuz I never get what I want
I feel like scrooge
Cuz I’m addicted to bitterness

I have these thoughts that haunt
Me every year
So I drown em
In alcohol

I always drink too much eggnog
Bah humbug
Sometimes I like to abuse
Myself so I can feel something

Other times I rather feel numb
Cuz I always feel pain
I need an excuse to get drunk
Every holiday I get ed up

I isolate myself from everyone
And get drunk alone
In my room
I only come out to get more liquor

I start drinking on Christmas eve
Then I stop after new years
The only thing I want to achieve
Is to see how ed up I can get

I got too many fears
The main thing I am
Scared of is running
Out of liquor

I’m always around it
So it’s hard not to relapse
I get drunk quicker and quicker
I’m a ing lightweight

I won’t stop drinking
Until I collapse
I feel like I can’t function
Without a drink

Premium Member Facing the Fire Goddess

Pops and cracks and sparkles swirled around in a powerful way.
The Fire Goddess did indeed seem to want to stay.
Her gown was lit up like a Friday night on a small-town square.
There was a deliberate, determined, delighted feeling in the air.

She is here! Someone whispered, in awe of her might.
She would have been difficult to miss on this warm autumn night.
There was no telling how soon the forest would be completely felled.
We were eager to see her works; her reputation was unparalleled.

Is that the fire goddess? A small voice asked me from down below.
It was a weird mole of sorts; he was standing on my big left toe.
She is a mean one he said. Is there any way to get rid of her now?
Before she begins the destruction that will ruin us all? He took a bow.

The forest had never before faced an imminent Goddess of Fire.
But the situation did seem serious, horrible, terrible and quite dire.
I enlisted the rest of the forest and we concocted a plan to guarantee
she would not wreck our homes, our lives, our friends and even me.
