Let Me Be Your All

Let me be the stylist that makes your hair,
That massages your smooth back
And pampers you like a baby with care;

Let me be the chef that cooks you delicacies
And when in pain,
Let me be thy only Herbs with unmatched efficacies;

Let me be the tongue that sings you poetry lyrics
In the mornings and nights
Like an orator who has turned word artistry to physics;

Let me be the crescent on your face,
That shimmering smile of yours
That illuminates your beauty and grace;

Let me be your best friend, your everything
The one that holds you dear in his heart
And for you could do anything;

Let me be your Romeo, and you my Juliet,
And like a chameleon my pen would change its colors
From green to blue, to pink and violet......

Baby let me be your all!

Premium Member All I Want for Christmas is You

Good Christmases never come with chipped teacups.
Good Christmases don't kick,
                                   bite,
                                   suck,
                                   tease,
                                   wheeze,
                                   pain,
                                   complain,
but pack woolies for chilly bodies, familiar carols tickle hearts.
Good Christmases present gifts under a tree, lit and tinseled and capped.

                                                  ~

Better Christmases have prized porcelain.
Better Christmases are toasted by chalices porting posh pink wines.
Better Christmases, jumbo stockings fill so carelessly, each could be a single Santa sack.

                                                  ~

Best Christmases require us two for steaming chocolate.
Best Christmases outlast seasonal cadences - when Spring fires back and snows arrest, you and I’ll be swaying in Summer, fiddling leaves around Fall.
Best Christmases, we share like flirty diplomats talking in turns,
                                                                                between laughter,
                                                                                through gazes;
                                                                                in narrow words,
                                                                                immense phrases,
                                                                                sincerely hopeful,
all together.

Premium Member Jesus My All In All

All over this world of ours
people are seeking for everything
except looking in wrong place
for in this world they do cling

The true and only source of life
is Jesus my saviour and friend
He's the one who loves me
promises to be there to the end

Jesus is everything to me
for He is my all in all
having forgiven me all my sins
making me stand spiritually tall

I have access to Him anytime
His ears open whenever I plead
for He's always seeking my best
knowing exactly what I need

Jesus prays always to His father
for me He continues to intercede
showing such perfect everlasting love
so on His living word I do feed

Premium Member God's Sufficient Provision For All Sinners - Luke 5: 32

Ever since Adam sinned at the fall
sin has entered every human alive
bringing spiritual death upon us all
lost forever no matter how we strive

God has worked out a perfect plan
sending His own dear son to rescue man
this would take Him to Calvary's cross
shedding His blood for His own clan

But man hates to accept God's truth
for the gospel declares God's great love
showing how great He loves sinners
will man believe God is enough?

God's call to sinners to repent
sounds forth to every listening ear
that Jesus is the only sure way
to receive forgiveness that's so dear

God's sufficient provision for all sinners
His call is still open to the day
salvation is found only in Jesus Christ
eternal life is the prize for all who obey

("I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.”)

Premium Member The All Sufficient God

God knows us better than anyone
even we don't know ourselves like God
so can He solve all our problems?
after all He has a mighty sharp sword

Remember that God is all sovereign
can do anything at any time
for His control is His alone
He never changes always at His prime

So why doesn't God always remove
these problems we think He should?
after all He is all powerful
so problems all remove He could

But God is also all wise
knowing the beginning and the end
bringing upon us what's for our good
so our hearts He can fully mend

Sometimes we grow better
through our spiritual winter
than we do in blessed summers
for we are marathoners not a sprinter

Let's just trust fully upon our Lord
for He knows what He's doing
He's been God for ever and always
even the demon's bow at His bidding

Premium Member Not All That Long Ago

The King dreamed of a contraption, a device
that would light up his night, so nice
No wax melting, no moths smelting
   Not all that long ago...

He dreamed of food and drink always cold
   in a box, a contraption, a device
No spoiling, no milk boiling, so nice
   Not all that long ago...

O, and how he dreamed of a box, a device
to keep him cool on the hottest summer's night
No sweating, no tossing, no turning, so nice
   Not all that long ago...

You and I are now more privileged
than the wealthiest of those Kings
Our homes, so nice, graced by lightbulbs, refrigeration, a/c
Are we duly grateful -- fellow King -- for all these things

Premium Member It's All In the Timing

I opened the old broken gate,
And strolled up the overgrown garden path,
It was the end of winter, still chilly
My car had broken down; I do not have a mobile phone.
So I was hoping the owner of the little cottage
would have a phone that I could use to phone a garage.

Everything about the little cottage
was severely in need of renovation.
It looked sad and unloved.
I knocked on the door gingerly,
I was feeling very vulnerable and unsure of myself.

I knocked several times, no answer,
Then the door slowly opened,
Inviting me to enter
It was shabby and dark inside the cottage,
Except for a ray of light shining onto a rickety old table,
On the table, a pristine jam jar full of fresh wildflowers stood,

Its presence took away the squalor of the room,
And gave an atmosphere of tranquility
I was mesmerised by the feeling of peace
and calm I felt since I entered this room.
Then I saw her, a wizened old lady,
Sitting in her worn-out old armchair,

Her eyes were closed; She looked comfortable and relaxed.
On her lap, she had a framed photo of an airman.
Her hands were still holding the picture,
Time seems to be standing still.
I was suddenly aware of a clock ticking.
And the ringing of her telephone.

All That Pettiness

9/14/21

Street and book smart
With a good heart
To make an impact I took part

This ain't a haiku
Why are you so worried about what I do
I'm nothing like you
Often I've been stabbed in the back and lied to

Full of emptiness
And penniless
Never mind all that pettiness
So caught up on who is the sexiest
And wealthiest
Meanwhile such actions can be the deadliest
Trying to salt my name, even though I've been the friendliest
Old news, I pay no attention to it
Such weakness is kept dead, no need to let it live

No good like Acid Reflux
All these cheap f***s
Taking advantage of others assuming they won't speak up

I don't care about your teacups
Or if you own three trucks
Good on you if you got some useful "free stuff"

It wasn't always too equal
People obsessed with blue people
Quickly displaying true evil

Had to work on a budget
Trying to stay away from drama and dumb s***
In a world full of corruption and little if any justice
From here to way beyond Nantucket
Sad thing is most people judge quick

Another lonely night and sip of beer
Listen here
It all has been far from crystal clear
And not always what it appears
In my heart, I hold my sisters dear
As I travel around with little fear
On a planet that is a sphere
Got to make the best of it, before it all disappears
Honestly, I can't be financially set off this career
Or afford to go crazy like Britney Spears

In fact
All that B.S. I ain't with that
Break 'em apart like a Kit-Kat
Staying alert not so quick to sit back
