All That Pettiness
9/14/21
Street and book smart
With a good heart
To make an impact I took part
This ain't a haiku
Why are you so worried about what I do
I'm nothing like you
Often I've been stabbed in the back and lied to
Full of emptiness
And penniless
Never mind all that pettiness
So caught up on who is the sexiest
And wealthiest
Meanwhile such actions can be the deadliest
Trying to salt my name, even though I've been the friendliest
Old news, I pay no attention to it
Such weakness is kept dead, no need to let it live
No good like Acid Reflux
All these cheap f***s
Taking advantage of others assuming they won't speak up
I don't care about your teacups
Or if you own three trucks
Good on you if you got some useful "free stuff"
It wasn't always too equal
People obsessed with blue people
Quickly displaying true evil
Had to work on a budget
Trying to stay away from drama and dumb s***
In a world full of corruption and little if any justice
From here to way beyond Nantucket
Sad thing is most people judge quick
Another lonely night and sip of beer
Listen here
It all has been far from crystal clear
And not always what it appears
In my heart, I hold my sisters dear
As I travel around with little fear
On a planet that is a sphere
Got to make the best of it, before it all disappears
Honestly, I can't be financially set off this career
Or afford to go crazy like Britney Spears
In fact
All that B.S. I ain't with that
Break 'em apart like a Kit-Kat
Staying alert not so quick to sit back
