Premium Member Making Choices Will Illuminate The Next Step

One's choice spotlights the steps,

One's steps lights the path. Keep movin'

Cause stillness don't save you, Nobody's

Out here gets a prototype.

Most days you move cause standing still

Still hurts intensely.

Life hands out shadows, corners you can't

Recognize, faces that changes cover up.

But choices?

They're lodestars small ones.

The kind that sparkles when you shak'em

But still exhibits something real.

Take one step- The ground shows it's face.

Take another- The byways stops

Misrepresenting. It ain't about being brave

It ain't about being perfect. It's about

Confessing.

" I'm done wasting time for clarity to come find

Me".

Every move an individual makes glows a

Itty-bitty more of the way.

Even wrong turns educate you where not to go

Make an exit.

So you choose

You learn

You grow

And the next steps glows just enough for you

To keep walking.

Premium Member The Time Had Passed

The time had passed, they knew too well
when first they fell under true love’s spell
That delight they felt, a-stir in the garden
no longer tolled the arbor bell…

‘Respectability’ had pierced their fairy dreams
exposed them to sundry maudlin whims
rerouted their lodestars toward middling others
knitted them labels of ‘sister and brother’

Premium Member Oh But When the Flower Birthed You

Oh but when the flower birthed you,
Did she know you would turn into this Venus?
Your grace is the gift that sits on your face,
What spell, what charm, what incantation,
Do you hind beneath your palms
That even the stars shine down only on
You the moment you exit your home?
Oh and your words, your words
Poetry that would shame even the
Pens of bards who have crafted
Many lyrics of immortal existence,
Look now to your hands, your hands
Like gliding branches waving the wind away
And where to start with those eyes
It is not fire the burns in them,
Neither is it the shine of the lodestars
Oh no they are more than that
They dream even in daylight
Make this earth seems like it
Has a new wonder to celebrate.
