Crying fully out of my heart
promising to keep all your law
calling to you my sovereign Lord
'I need to be saved' words to draw
In all of this your words I see
makes one get up before dawn
in your words alone I do hope
words of beauty like a smooth lawn
Early in the morning, I can see
all your revelation you have revealed
so to meditate on God's promise
what riches God's duly sealed
God is our judge in giving life
in God's love, I listen for His voice
these lawbreakers show their evil
rejecting your law they're full of noise
I feel your presence very near
believing your testimonies be so true
since early childhood, I've ever known
you've founded them from ever new
(This is my " Psalm 119 project" which I began to write a couple of years ago, so this is the nineteenth poem of twenty-two poems I've written over that time to cover all of Psalm 119.)

Mob Rule
Tom’s Opinion
July 16, 2020
Today mob rule is taking over our nation,
its time for those in charge, to grow a backbone.
Street mob rule must be brought to cessation,
turning a blind eye signals that they condone.
An era of mob rule is taking over some cities,
by wiping out history a way of life is corroded.
Done under the guise of showing others our pities,
we’ll soon find ourselves as a nation imploded.
The time was chosen when in a survival mode,
for progressives to push their new paradigm.
Oversensitive lawbreakers alleging their owed,
blatherskite doesn’t work, for action it’s past time.
History is, what it was; our ansestors weren’t perfect.
good or bad we can’t change the past.
We can review it, learn from it, and be better because of it.

Sun rise; it's a new day
A new day,same people
Mentality proceeds to be different;
Ugly. YES! ugly mentalities
Activities normal,streets flocked
Freedom is real, no restrictions and rules followed
Partial difference, probably tribe
Justice...peace...it is what it is
Smoke in the air,instantly
Wails invades the environment
Streets converted to racing fields;
Disorganized race,everyone is a champion
Peace lovers turn to perpetrators
Retaliation given birth to
Democracy! democracy! democracy...
Where are the democrats?
Scramble and partition reborn
Resistance movement rooting again
It was white against black those days
Now it is black against black
Brothers form conspiracies...
Blood against blood
Dreams are always valid,nightmares too
Dry land is now muddy;red mud
Corpses dominates the streets
The living become unpopular
Death is now a celebrity
Gunshots topping music charts
Lawmakers to lawbreakers
Leaders to misleaders
Presidents to dictators
The age of revolution is here

We need new sheriffs whom will uphold law properly
taking these monkey's into account for their corrupt action
and addressing facts on these cowboy's
that are held by public opinion as gangsters in uniform
Lawbreakers bring them down a peg or two and show them inside a cell
this is how the taxpayers look at swindlers and thief's under state assets
rather than shoot them down reward incorrectly in a big pay day
with bonuses and pensions into the bargain
robbing our hard earned money blind drunken greed
Even when they are totally shamed through their disgraced deeds caught out highlighted being honest it's a cowboy outfit force
that needs to clean up it's act to gain respect
for one this shows lack of respect where justice is not upheld
in showing favour to these criminals whom there sits enough proof
to throw the book at them correctly it should be dealt with
pride is a wicked place to hide when secrets are out

Police Close Children’s Lemonade Stand
By Elton Camp
In Midway, Georgia the cops got it right this time
They put a quick stop in the early stages of crime
And it wasn’t some robber who had got out of hand
They shut down children running a lemonade stand
Instead of the girls asking for money as a handout,
To make some of their own they earnestly set about
It was to the water park that the children wanted to go
So they went to work to help their parents make it so
They didn’t get a peddler’s permit at $50 per day
So the cops closed in on criminals that do that way
No doubt the citizens of Midway are extremely proud
That such dangerous lawbreakers in town aren’t allowed
The cops may claim that it was their sworn duty to act
And that the government its pound of flesh must extract
But this seems another example of authority gone wild
When it can’t even make a sensible exception for a child
Closing a child’s lemonade stand isn’t an isolated event
It makes me wonder where judgment & good sense went
Dangerous meth labs are in operation all over the place
To be hassling young children making money is a disgrace

They are the heroes among us
They protect us everyday,
It’s not just their job
It’s their chosen way.
They face the unpredictable
With hours that are sometimes long,
They continuously teach our children
The difference between right and wrong.
They put their lives on the line
Without fear or hesitation,
They teach the real facts
Of drugs devastation.
They are mothers and fathers
Sisters and brothers,
Their uniform is a symbol
Of their commitment to others.
The appreciation and respect
They so rightly deserve,
Are many times left unspoken
As they are judged without reserve.
They are viewed by the offender
As the hunters of prey,
But lawbreakers soon learn
That crime doesn’t pay.
They are called sheriffs and deputies
Officers, policemen and cops,
Outside their uniform
Their dedication never stops.
They are the heroes among us
They preserve our safety everyday,
They teach us morals and values
And safely light our way.
