Glitzy, Vegas-style seductive dancers
Lascivious lancers' lances
Glam and rock in hilarious fashion.
Quintessentially Parisian
Paris Crazy Horse, the most avant-garde
Enticing and sensuous dance and song concord
A fantastic cardio exercise that makes you sweat
Each wagers to sweat out the greatest
Well-crafted jokes, mockeries, and ridicules
There are arrayed dance arcades with rules.
Fall in love with this incredibly lovely present.
To the fullest extent possible, you will live in the moment.

All for a Shilling a Day
by Bob Moore © 2019
Back in 1810 when prison seemed my lot
The judge said “join the army, or in the cells you rot”
So I took the Kings Shilling, and enlisted for the pay
I became a 16th Lancer, for just a shilling a day
For just a shilling a day my lad
a place to sleep, and food not bad
muck out stables, and ride a horse
use a sword, and lance of course
Then came the time to earn our pay
that princely sum of a shilling a day
Napoleon thought he was the best
so we would put him to the test
The Scarlet Lancers, was our nickname
in charge or with sword, we had made our fame
now he had disturbed us, we would make him pay
and all of this, for a shilling a day
Now we are at, a place called Waterloo
with Vandeleur’s Brigade, to do what we do
this could be the final battle they say
I am sure we can win it, for a shilling a day

Grow in silence,
That I call a reliance;
In that no one will choke
And break my heart like a joke .
It picks me up from the mess;
Sh! Hear the nothingness.
An escape from the raucous world,
And the stories which are themselves curled.
Imagination thrives in it;
Where the soul feels a certain grit.
It gives a meaning to the esse,
Sh! Hear the nothingness.
Silence has a lot to say
And shows an unerring way.
It holds answers,
That are as right as lancers.
It makes the erroneous situation redress;
Sh! Hear the nothingness.
It makes a person ablaze,
For 'tis more poignant than a phrase.
Silence is often misconceived as an uncanny situation;
In truth it's a peaceful combination.
It offers calmness and makes the hassle less.
Sh! Hear the nothingness.
Some thinks that 'tis traumatic,
While some thinks that it's erratic;
But though 'tis full of hope and not a runnel,
Verily it's like a light at the end of the tunnel.
It's like an ocean that's serene and pulls me from distress;
Sh! Hear the nothingness.

Splintered souls are rising
and falling down below
the reasons are not surprising
but the outcome is still a blow
watch out says the woodsmen
blasting out kindled ashes
mistaken are the poor men
blocked by their fiery flashes
cradled are the holy
no less to feel the shame
while the wicked cry out wholly
taking all the blame
failing to find the answers
that lie within the sovereign tale
bewitched by fevered lancers
who quickly heard the bell
to find the stifled sounds
of their departed lives and plans
foregoing spacious bounds
banging in tin cans
black-hole save them that drifted
down roads of darkened sands
who drink the cup they sifted
and flee to more suited lands

Howe great are your lofty peaks, amongst hillocks traced
Free from foes and frauds , ink my ridges with love and freehand
Ones tail whips round between valleys deep, creating a landscape, a mighty sweep
Lancers move forward and runty stays close, for those wagers upon us will judge us the most
Ego and IDs freeze at first glance , six nations armies forlorn and entranced
Exit the summit, bring down the gate for thine has the power to command check mate.

BOUQUET OF FLOWERS
Bouquet of flowers
Linger in the frosty morn
For it’s October
Many of the leaves are shorn
By northern windy lancers
Yet the flowers dance
Sparkle in the morning sun
The date defied
Happy mission just begun
Summer’s passing molified
