Jerry
Comedian rarely contrary.
Among his wacky friends, the voice of reason.
Still he got tossed in jail with them in their final season
Elaine
Confident and vain, she could be a pain.
Although Jerry's ex, she remained his friend,
along with George and kooky Kramer, till the very end.

Through graveyard
meandering, just
me and Dad
stories sad
abbreviated down to
mostly names and dates
So we tell
their stories by turns
like poor Duane
Dinwiddie
died at age thirty-three of
bee sting allergy
So tragic
how she caught a chill
Angeline
age nineteen
who died before her wedding
day, her groom grieves still
Or the war
heroes, Frank and Finn
taken in
the prime of
life, no child or wife, they were
just children themselves
Gunther Gold
did what he was told
gullible
on a dare
lost his life to win respect
bullies didn't care
Bartleby
hypochondriac
cough, sneeze, hack
was ignored
by the whole village, but he
got them back- with plague
Len Kramer
the lion tamer
tried to save
his wife when
she unwisely came in, but-
got eaten instead
Philetus
on flying trapeeze
an ace- the
very best
until he had to sneeze- then
sadly laid to rest
Then Daddy
looks at me and I
look at him
giving in
to sudden gales of laughter
glad to be alive

Dedicated to my Granddaughter Heather Ashley Curtis-Kramer
Simple Talk
I wonder if we really knew
Time would pass and she'd grow up
As days would dwindle down to few
To sit and talk and drink and sup
I miss her sitting on my lap
Just four years old and holding tight
A little lump of wisdom though
So innocent and often right
They say to youths, seek out the wise
To get direction, on how to walk
But, I have found, when confused
I'd sit with her for simple talk
I miss those days, those precious few
My counsel and consoling rock
To once more see, through her eyes
And find my way through simple talk

God blessed me in many ways,
In one to have him in my life and then he went away.
Oh how he had a tragic death,
How I miss his one last breath.
God bless my uncle in heaven.
God rest his soul.
Only my uncle was just thinking about you and me.
I always loved him and he loved me.
Just like a happy family.
Just wish I had one last time to say goodbye.
I can't believe he gone I wanted to say goodbye.
He my best friend and family. Love u unkiie

Where is your inspiration?
It’s waiting for some needless invitation,
Or perhaps it is waiting for you to have a needed revelation.
It didn’t fly off to Vegas like your wallet,
And it’s not right under your nose this time,
But above it instead,
In that lovely brain of yours.
Now how about a pinch of motivation?
Perhaps your lack of drive is beyond salvation,
In this robot plagued nation.
Take a step,
Add another,
Whad’ya know?
You’re on your way!
Last but not least let’s add a helping of imagination,
The golden key to finding any destination,
As we enter a land of ‘guestimations’.
Cosmo Kramer said it best,
“In my mind, I’m already there!”
So go on now,
Eat your food for thought,
Imagination,
Motivation,
Inspiration,
I’ve never been a believer in mental starvation.

Something is happening that is beyond belief.
Cosmo Kramer has become a coffee table thief.
If he comes to your house, he'll steal your coffee table when your head is turned.
If you love your coffee table, you'd better be concerned.
Because his coffee table book wasn't published, he steals coffee tables to get revenge.
He deserved to be burned when he lit a cigar on a stove and his wacky hair was singed.
If you are foolish enough to invite him into your house, you will surely be robbed.
How can Kramer afford an apartment in New York City, he doesn't even have a job.
(This poem was inspired by the Seinfeld TV show.)

I love the smell of fresh cut wood. Did you know that? I bet you didn’t know.
Why would you?
You never asked.
Wooden hearts dangling over a baby’s bassinet.
Be not hard like my wooden heart, chipped as a cedar output.
Wood is an insulator right?
Keeping it in like the charge of some electrical outlet cover.
Innocuous scriptures.
A vamp, that shouldn’t have, should have known better.
You should have asked me all my favorites.
I love the smell of wood, for wooden hearts cannot be broken.
Merely splintered and sawed of one’s own, free disposition and handiwork.
Let’s carve another organ.
One that can’t do anything but be whole.
Lucky wood.
Poetry is jagged and true, an inconspicuous fopa.
That’s not it.
I want to write a poem that is capturing.
One in which I can dice the words as may entice if not displease.
Here goes…

Seinfeld’s Jerry, George and Cosmo Kramer
Looked on in revulsion as Elaine danced
Jerks and quirks embarrassingly enhanced
Her three best friends wanted to disclaim her
It all began at a festive party
No one dancing, Elaine tried to set pace
Resembling a tick that was sprayed with mace
Amused smirks grew to bellows so hearty
She thought herself to be a great dancer
With kicks and spasms she danced on and on
All she beckoned to the floor said, “Be gone!”
Social life failed, no one would romance her
Note: Seinfeld fans probably remember this, but you

Kramer
Crazy, never has a care
Perpetual motion and whacky hair
The ladies love him, tall and lean
Lady luck smiles against any fiend
Zany and funny he's my honey
Where does he get his money?
