Knuckles Poems - Poems about Knuckles

Raw,
a nubby grey knuckle-boned day,
when the wind blows through my skin
pulling at the cord
which holds my insides in,
oh infernal internal wall
keeping without without
and within within,
off key Wednesday
crashing chords that I have swallowed
not a passing thought for the blue tunes of tomorrow,
or the music I have made thus far in life
and the ones that I have

Brass Knuckles
Miracle Man
9/8/2024

I once new a man who thought he was bad,
He couldn’t make you do only wish you had.
In seeking a sequel,
along came his equal.
The sequel was wearing a knuckle do dad.

Some Sounds Remind of Knuckles Cracking

Clatter claws cascade downward into listening drums.
Pigeons are the worst. Rose bushes sit quietly all summer
then only after they have lost their heads
do they scratch and squark nightly.

Toilets that are not in your home haunt and taunt.
Dry joints crunch down - listening synovial cartilages
stick shift and slip out of gear.
There is the jack-hammer

White Knuckles

Blue sighs,
purple heart beating pain
Scarlet letters
written on rice paper grain

Black clouds
portend colonial violent reign
Silver pocket lining —
Ivory Coast watch has a gold chain

Indigo weep journey,
stern waves of Coral Reef grief from green gain
Obsidian gale passage,
white knuckle fear mete with alabaster disdain

Steel blue sky,
pale joy in the skin cargo lane
Bronze native hope
shipped to brass harbor

Granite Knuckles

bare granite knuckles
grip the horizon
as whispy whimpy clouds
slide over them
the knuckles are moist
from buffeting the wind
whistling wheezily
through broken skin crags
liver-spot lichens
mar the grey skin
giving away the age of it
within

Bloody Knuckles

Bloody knuckles
Are all that remain
Of what I use to be.
Torn skin,
Scars and scabs,
Memories and
Reminders.

Of a time when I was young
And without ambition
Or caution.
Running through green forests
With friends chasing behind.
A root,
I trip,
And my fingers collide with the dirt.
The soil stings my
Bloody knuckles.

Bloody knuckles
Are all that remain
Of what I use to be.
Torn skin,
Scars and scabs,
Memories and
Reminders.

I majored

Kartoon Knuckles

Draped and locked like a curtain in Guantanamo
I use my words to peel scalps like Geronimo
Just like a teen girl my mouth has a heavy flow
If arousal luminesces then I'll make you glow

They're calling me a villain cuz I steal girls like Bowser
Wowzer, think I just filled my trousers
Though unlike the lizard I don't lose

The knocking continued
until knuckles chafed

Burnin' Knuckles

Your lookin over burnin' knuckles into the road,
There it goes,
But you don't even know your destination so,
With a shake of your head,
On goes the trip,
And a whispered three words,
This isn't it.

  Guided by a light,
Of thirty or fourty feet,
But your being driven by a heart,
That has forgotten how to beat.

Bloody Knuckles and Smiling Faces

power trips
veins pulse
your tongue slips
sharp words
mumbled curse
fist
face
blood traced
knifes
veins lost
eyes rolling
back of your head
siren blowing
cops dead
racing forward
lead
snaps the air
bridge water
life without a care
