The bruises and burns
From her cooking and washing pots and pans
Her former hands, so dainty and soft
Have now become coarse and calloused
Scars from knives on her hands and her thighs
Cuts from slicing dicing and splicing
Several produce and foods to provide nourishment for you
Yet you disregard her efforts and don't appreciate her when due
Wives, daughters and sisters everywhere
We were always seen as the 'weaker sex'
But we rose and fought our best
To be admired and looked upon with respect.
We succeeded and made the world realise
That women aren't only knowledgable kitchen-wise
We have gifts talents, achievements and dreams
Which makes the world better more than. those can believe.
Happy Women's day to all my wonderful females
We are worth more than rubies and are as competent as the males
I'm proud of all of you for the battles you fought
Let your smile shine brightly like a beacon come forth.
Happy Women's Day

Easter Eggs and Tulips
Grandaddy was a quiet soul, born in 88 on a spring day.
He often stopped to graze his sheep, on the lush green grass shoots in May
found at my grandmother’s old house, where she played with dollys and jacks.
Knowledgable gardener by trade, he grew crops and purple lilacs
catching a beautiful maid’s eye, some 20 years older was he,
and yet from his earliest glance, he was steadfast to his Corrie.
He planted stately green magnolias, bordering the road and our land,
growing his own pipe tobacco, his battle with bamboo most grand
exotics brought from the Great War, in France’s trenches he sat long
wondering if he’d make it home, the mustard gas a near swan song.
I have childhood recollections, of you digging in the dirt bed
planting Avignon tulip bulbs, silky pedals flowering red
bursting freely with Easter Eggs, cleverly hidden from our sight
by gentle liver-spotted hands, unfurling them with slow delight.
You left us when I was but nine, my memories are vague shadows,
dreams of you with a spade in hand, smelling sweetly of pipe tobacco.

into a reverie
secrets buried deep
conjuring forlorn cultures
layer upon layers unearthed
shards withhold a mystery
of lives longing discovery
layers peeled back with the trowel
grains of time tell-tale deep
the knowledgable eye observes
while nothing goes amiss
where a world of survival
and nature interact
layer upon layers reveal the mystique

deliveries we're living free still conspiracies of spivery
alive with longevity continuously spread belief
as acceptance is septic when set up as entertainment
too those education evaded by their own free will
to escape learnings empty desert brains seek fill
allowing curiosity and searches through
communication waves concerning and new
yet they wont turn from in fascination
whilst holding no knowledgable argument
or alternative possibility prevent digestion
the past bored in school
history they ignored
filling this absence
investigating more
expectedly unearthing placed clues and plot
(as if they would not)
they move hotter hotter hotter flaming hot
they've got it
knowledge knotted
mind shot
one percent rule they say
so I ask how many people overall
but they've no school knowledge to see the flaw
waving away to them hello fool
one percent mathematical not possible you proper tools
and with that fault the theory falls..... it's bull,
if the main fact is so abstract how is the rest of it exact,
smashed cracked and crap is that

A Poet's Heart
Our loving hearts we give freely, in our enveloped, cleverly, created writ!
We open our souls, quite willingly to anyone in the world to observe it.
It is a gift, so uniquely knowledgable,
And its meaning...maybe far more than tangible.
Just consider~poets, in all the nations walk!
Laugh, cry and question, the meaning of this life~a poet never balks.
A poet might be a saint, who simply does not know it.
But assuredly, however, one who has risen above life's mendascious pit.

A brand has it's name like Safa,
A brand name speaking quality,
Quality is a qualification not quantity,
It isn't the reaching of hands,
But approaching the mind,
Quality is cut and polished knowledge,
Two hands and two minds are not in par,
The one more knowledgable is more intelligent,
Quality is an intelligence out come and telling of diligence!

Malyun, such a unique name, people say.
I am sure out of kindness, they say,
Weird, that is my name.
Silent at times,
Loud most times,
My silence is definitely loud, they say.
Unique, that is trait.
Story telling, my passion,
I really like passion fruits,
With sugar and spice,
A bit like my life.
A law student, by profession,
Knowledgable, by aggression,
Intelligent, by comprehension,
That is who, i choose to be.
For fun, i bake,
From cookies, to cakes,
Other times, i write,
Poems, that are my life.
Short lines, unlike myself,
All used, to describe myself,
Malyun.

Give Me Simple, That Will Do
How does one do this, so "very deep"
can not do it while you are asleep
I write for joy , to be understood
I'd do "very deep' if only I ever could
This old man loves to write in rhyme
make it understood, sho' do save time
My wife speaks in high falootin' words
I say , darling sing that to the birds
Now do not think me shallow or slow
this old dog dun' been long in the know
I once sat around spitting out tha' deep
what interests me is readers I kan' keep
I like deep as often as a prostate exam
give me just so simple, just like I am

Ok using poetic license here my friends.
I admire fine poetry in all forms and ways.
The message, spirit, heart and soul reign
supreme in my book. I just like my poetry
easier to be understood. When I see very
deep writes I marvel if they are
intentionally written with a deep meaning
not if it is thought deep because it is so very
hard to understand even for a knowledgable
poet.
Add in a bit of humor and here we are.
No harm , no foul intended.

"You have a spirit in you son."
[an unlikely host it so seems]
A glare from diamond- like eyes,
as so {like a light} to redeem.
"you're smile heals souls, and a voice
that softly flows."
( a non-believer w/ a flame that brightly
glows.)
"an old spirit w/ knowledgable personas" {she claimed}
A quoted repetoir,
and a rough existance to be blamed.
Her beautiful, dark, wrinkled face
spotted a grin.
[calling for beauty from a man of
monsterous sin.]
" You have a spirit in you son",
{an unlikely host that's been named?}
a disproportionate smile mirrored back,
a so-called "spirit" thats been tamed.

Syllables
10-Wooden basket with swinging handle
7-Bouquet blossoms smells budding
7-Olfactory joy buzzing
If anyone is knowledgable of this type of poem let me know if I got it right.
It is a little tricky.
