Knaves Poems | Examples

Tandoori or Tangerine Tan shorts no5 final jive

Still hope we can cope

With the nope

Don’t give a damn plan

From that Tandoori tan

Obscene Tangerine dope

Jackanory Mandarin Man

That trope..like to be Pope

Go out on a limb..got the vim..scope

To make him of the grim...dim..whim..mope

Just give Mr Grope enough Rope

Opined women..a frump

If they mind.. some bump & grind

Half inching while pinching their rump

The darkness descends

Besotted with anything cosseted

Rotted or garrotted by design

But sign on the dotted line

Raise a 'Stein" of wine

Knaves..slaves.. saved

From the craze & blaze

Of this moral maze & haze

Extinguished by depraved waves

From distinguished graves

Denies his demise is nigh

Popularity sky high he lies

Bliss as the remiss abyss

Of hiss and diss ends

Thanks to a sly bit of

Wry Fab Four rapport

No not you say hello...but yes I say goodbye

Off with his head the French might have said

Cos we've read we'll get by instead

With a little help from his (dead) friends

Kyle Langford runs for governor in CA
He thinks Auschwitz would save the day
and solve the problems that I guess he blames Jews for
But Slavic voters may show him the door.

74,000 Polish Christians died at Auschwitz camp
But Let's look closer under the lamp
Nazis targeted any possible Polish elite
If you attended secondary school, you could die at their feet.

Secret killings of intellectuals, and mass graves
If the kids looked Aryan, they were kidnapped by those knaves
And there was "Generalplan Ost", a plan to settle Germans on Slavic lands
The Slavs would be removed, as such a plan demands.

3 million ethnic Poles died due to Hitler's schemes
Is it really smart for Kyle to indulge in Nazi dreams?
There are much better Republicans running, I give them my vote
Bad ideas keep cropping up, let's keep freedom afloat.

Left and right both have members who don't think Jews are great
The left more of a danger now, they'll do in the Jewish state
But let's not get caught up in cartoon history
The endless appeal of Adolf is a human nature mystery.

Martha on the US Stamp

My theme is, “Martha Washington – but why?”
First Lady – how the Big Man’s wife behaves
was fixed by her: so Jackie Kennedy

was shaped by Martha. Coming through the rye,
we learn that some are heroes, others knaves,
and some deserve to live in infamy

but end up famous. Think of “Family Guy”,
the David Hasselhofs, the Flavor Flavs,
or Arnold (Benedict), or Syngman Rhee.

So what did Martha do, that I decry?
She prompted no contumely, made no waves:
she didn’t do a thing – and there’s the key.

She didn’t change the world. She didn’t try.
The wealth you didn’t earn is what depraves:
one of Virginia’s wealthiest was she!

The only thing her husbands did was die.
Though not exactly dancing on their graves,
she certainly enjoyed her liberty

and dead men’s money. Didn’t have to buy
a toothpick. Bricks and mortar, horses, slaves –
she got the lot. And slowly, by degree,

she handed down (for Martha was on high)
the stuff that each descendant always craves –
the loot. It went to Robert Edward Lee.

Oi Oi Hoi Polloi

All aboard the bizarre Farage barge..

Unless of course you are from abroad..
.
Narcissist catalyst.. old school fraud..discord twist..

Can't resist.. staging the raging red mist..

Fist of Mob rule tryst does persist..

Depraved raves..insist..craved faves..

Won't save slaves & knaves..

Hellbent they are sent..

To graves under the waves…

Foolish votes for ghoulish gloats..

Seedier media leaders lying..

Defying the dying..

Folks crying..ghastly ghostly boats..

Crude jokes delude..lewd masterstrokes denude..

Corporate rascal castle debacle floats..

On dank murky murderous moats..

Scuffles.. muffles ruffles & kerfuffles

Pokes & provokes just for bank notes..

The ubiquity of inequity

This poem or tome..

Every face…race should be.

Free to roam..

In this place..

We all call home..

Old Codger

Get thee hence! Get thee hence!
Away the riffraff from my fence
Ye've rattled window and rattled doors
Till there's no peace upon the moors
The hallowed folk have left their graves
To rid themselves these noisome knaves
The tyrants peal rings through my head
Till any room for thought is dead
I'd rid myself this fearsome bane
If I had not a limp and cane
Yet wield do I that wood in vain
For the blighters to abstain
Their laughter loud begins to boil
Not troubled they at all my toil
Surrender I with naught a choice
For it seems I've lost my voice
I must placate them one and all
Returning to them their playball

I Refuse

I refuse to run and hide.

When enemies and knaves come to seize

I have a 'no-fear' DNA that dwells inside.

I'm popping out for everyone to see with no desire to please.

I refuse to lie down.

No matter how many times I slip, trip, or fall

Back up without a frown.

I'm readying myself to answer the call.

I refuse to wave the white flag.

Though the battle may be onerous and rough

Through the thickets, I go like the white stag.

Onward and upward is my only aim 'cause my spirit says I'm enough.

Rubberband Man

There he is...
        On his biz
Unbothered and untethered

After many pernicious pulls and tainty tugs
And so many ghastly grabs and sheisty shrugs
After huge stretches with hopes of breaking
And so much tension, pressure and shaking

Every time!

He snaps back like the seats in that 'ole' Cadillac

Pulled in so many directions with the aim of popping
But it's in his nature to keep bouncing, 'cause ain't nothing stopping
Vertically, horizontally, and diagonally, he's pulled
But he never breaks; instead, he bounces back like a basketball off the old hardwood

Yet so many continue to grab and pull to see if he'll break
But little do they know this will only cause their world to shake

There he is just stretching and bouncing...
All knaves and NPCs he's renouncing

So, who exactly is this man that stoically bounces throughout the land?
"Hear ye, hear ye, bounce back he can, 'cause he's none other than
the Rubberband Man!"

"I repeat. Bounce back he can, 'cause he's none other than the Rubberband Man!"

On Bended Knee

Sword of
the noble
With fury
unsheathed
Trumping
dishonor
And knaves
unreprieved

Knighted in
armor
Endowed
from on high
Legend
heraldic
 With duty
— reprised

Truth and Light

When the light comes on, roaches will scatter
Scampering for the nearest crack, crevice or hole
When gossip comes to a deaf ear, there's an abrupt stop to all chatter
Expeditiously in comes the judge, allowing truth to be told

When thieves get out and wander in darkness
In search of the next quick lick
When knaves come to spew lies on the chosen who walk in meekness
In come the authorities with their baretta and nightstick.

Premium MemberThe Upper Crust

Where learned men converse
On college grounds traverse
Those lads debonair and debutantes fair
With diamonds in their purse

By limousine conveyed
Their education's paid
A most common tale of Harvard and Yale
Where seeds of affluence laid

When privileged young voyeurs
Become doctors and lawyers
From arrogant perch they snub and besmirch
Sneering at Tom Sawyers

Under thumb of those knaves
We become but their slaves
Placed in the dust by the cruel upper crust
With no names on our graves

Holding

Hold them tightly but be sure not to clench
When knaves and thieves come for seizure, don't you dare flinch

Walk in the light; that's where your protection lies.
Through the darkness, by all means, continue with lithe strides.

Holding and carrying the promise from a long ago,
Remembering whence you've come and where you must go.

Holding and not bending,
Holding while tending,

Holding fast to your beautiful dreams,
Following that starry spirit within that gleams.

Premium MemberThe Rise and Fall of US All

Malice laced with blinded hate

Motives based on tempted fate

Marching knaves will hear the call

Making slaves of one and all

Tyrant's goals are up to date

Tattered souls are now too late

Tactics wise begin to stall

Tensions rise and nations fall

Premium MemberKeep

The siege began, oh so long ago,
I was not wise, nor bold, nor old
And yet they came with demon speed
To snatch us from a simple soothing life
To hold before us flames that scorched our souls
Drove us deep into our darkened keep
Alone but for the memory of light
Pondering the choices, fight or flight.

Yet we, at least the ones I’ve seen,
Have shed the darkness of such knaves
To live amid the flowers and the sun
Rejoicing in a second life begun
Beneath the shattered walls of demon’s keep
Awakened from the slumber of the siege
Standing in defiance of fear’s liege.

Premium MemberThe Ocean Calls

I hear the Ocean call from cascading waves,
to sailors and knaves.

I feel Her misty breath on a foggy night
when the air turns white.

I smell Her salty spray saturating me;
the fragrance of free.

I taste the bitter-sweet essence of Her kiss;
the promise of bliss.

Calling Kings and slaves
to watery graves;
I hear the Ocean call from cascading waves.
