Adrift.
On the grand highway.
Searching.
For the face I once knew.
But those eyes remain just out of view.
Labyrinth like.
Ancient disguise.
Jettisoned.
Into the vague corridor to hide.

Dimmed Eyes crack their shells first.
You rise up in the half light of a fading moment.
This is the plane – wait, tie a rope
hitch it to a trading places moment.
When you passed away
leaving a layer of makeup and clothes strewn
upon a tilting floor
the mind went wandering on its own,
it returns now with the debris it found
loosely bundled into a persona.
Twist some knots into memory.
Plan a-head, then insert body
as an Allen key does into the right
socket.
Be sure to leave your big red heart plug
jammed tightly into this matrix of
electrified reality.
Loose ends can dangle for a while.
You’re within a workable shape now,
you’re fingers in a glove.
Time to shuffle self-consciously
from behind the lens,
let eyes see what no other being can see,
for your hand-made once more,
spun-out into an opaque silk by mind-moths
and now can fly blind
utterly unnoticed.

We have refused to hearken to her plea,
Our insatiable desires have spurred our spree,
We have jettisoned her cry,
We only look and sigh,
We've been taken over by our cravings,
Pushed overboard by our strivings,
We journey towards a mammoth empire,
Stifling her free course to respire,
We desire a wholesome stress-free lane,
To her detriment and bane,
She stands listless and frail,
As we go on our splurge sail,
She said it is an equal and opposite reaction,
As some have had the premonition,
We're on a lethal cruise,
We're wearing unfit shoes,
A stitch in time saves nine.

but I'm guessing my ien from yang

I'm blundering trying to shoulder this word game
and my reve of speakeasy fades

I'm left floundering

Deep rooted fears manifest
Bubbles rising to the surface
Released at last from house arrest
Mind-body emptied by divine grace
There is neither judgment nor shame
Upon viewing egoic fears jettisoned
Treating life as but a game
In blissful rapture positioned

Jettisoned to the skies upon finned wings of a flying fish,
I sail the nimbus of inspiration,
to worlds beyond infinity’s placid caress.

I ride the singing notes
to worlds where eyes have never been.
A cyclone blast,
and jettisoned puffs in frenzied spray;
dance in stratospheric delight.
Fluttering wings grasp gale;
spinning ecstatic heights,
a concerto of breezes
in 2/4 time;
as higher I climb.

With fingers skipping
across my flat top box,
an interlude echoing upon the air,
I am jettisoned into other worlds.
Acoustic tones of jazzy blues,
rings my ears and pacifies the pain.
Resonance of the wood sprite;
stresses the secrets I harbor in
the hallways of my mind;
intonations the colors of me.
Fingertips waltzing between
ebony-floored frets;
revealing timbre that lay within,
feelings read by cedar and spruce;
a treasured gift from the timber woods,
a altered spirit, is my guitar;
a miraculous flat-top box.

E.E.CUMMINGS AND I
I remember a beautiful, Spring
day in Chicago.
Sitting on my lover's lap.
His eyes as lovely as the spring-
green trees tapping gently on my
living room windows.
His lips velvety as the roses on
Montrose Avenue, that day in May
And, I, reading him, E.E. Cummings
poem, "Since Feeling is First."
That one single poem my life did
change me, forevermore!
"He who worries about the syntax
of things, will never truly kiss you."
Ah~ how right E.E.Cummings was.
I was and I still am ecstatic with:
"Wholly to be a fool in the world,
my blood approves."
"And kisses are a better fate than
wisdom, lady, I swear by all the
flowers."
How very true we were that day
to E.E, Cummings line:
"Then laugh, leaning back in my
my arms"
God Bless you, EE!
"For life in not a paragraph, and
death is no parenthesis."
My life jettisoned after that day.
Forever, am I lost in a love capsule.
And hoped a poet, I would one day be.

the wild flowers jettisoned beauty
just like normal people do
seems like beauty is all around
and yet still too hard to find
for some. the truth is nothing could
be simpler for the simple man
and simple dreams.
and everything was out there
in the wide open expanse
seems like everything was
always somehow lurking
underneath the shadows
of the sun.
they took it all in all the sunlight
and they shielded its ray
and spoke to you to delivering
shade
and this white stuff
ice
snow, frozen water
aquifer.
Peace!

A Shadorma
Senses on
an overload status;
circuitry
stat icky,
jettisoned into the past,
a revelation.
Moment of enlightenment comes;
beyond the door
lay a world
unfathomably brilliant;
other worlds calling.
Flying through
the ether’s,
a moment,
a challenge;
atoms unbound and rebound,
a quantum side-step.
Dimensions,
parallels collide.
I am here,
I am there,
universal expansion;
a quantum journey.

It sure took me a while to get the hang of that bat.
The grip just wasn’t right.
With a friends’ help, I swung and hit;
probably, hundreds of times.
In the end, I felt that I could,
smack a mountain and send it sailing for yards,
with that bat.
Softball was a blast, when I was a teen;
Every swing of that bat; every ball that I smacked;
swelled my chest with pride.
A dusty slide into home base;
Jettisoned me into ego-space;
oh, it took awhile to come back down to earth.
There were, cheers from the bleachers
and the smell of popcorn,
hot dogs and soda pop permeated the air,
like a winter fog.
Perhaps it was those succulent scents, more than the cheers, that kept us winning.

A Shadorma
Quantum realms
time-train, Renaissance
jettisoned,
backward leap;
Da Vinci’s studio dark,
I wander throughout.
In he trods
stops and stares and I
am frozen...
“You have come...”
says he, “future one; come, sit”;
conversant sage smiles...
Somehow he
knew I would arrive;
together
we travel,
slipping across the light years;
I am elated.

These days of changing values can be hard:
What once was just, today's considered wrong.
Some things encouraged now at one time jarred,
Abandoned now are values once held long.
Unquestioned rules and customs are eschewed,
And standards jettisoned yet not replaced.
What once was fixed has now become unglued,
While words which all revered are now erased.
But while injustices should be redressed,
Iconoclasm can exceed all sense—
When free expression finds itself suppressed,
Then tolerance becomes a sad pretense.
For though things change, some things stay valid still:
Light is not dark, nor yet is good now ill.
