Ive figured it out

I want to call it, Shaking the Baby
If I ever get the smarts, it’ll be tasty
Stupid I know not worth anything
Besides the slander and pain
How about a May Day
911 calls are busy in action
These communities dividing into faction
Is simply a distraction
I can count how many times I’ve broken the law
Lie cheat and steal, meth has no sex appeal
I can tell you a story, but is it really your worry
I don’t even think humanity cares about marshmallow bear
Who cares what that means
It’s my Poetry, it’s my expensiveness
That matches your abjectness

Ive Always Been Here

You do not have to disguise
Your heart from any more lies
The words I say are the truth
Promising you will not lose
Any of my caring love
You wont have to push or shove
Me away-- others before
Left your heart dropped on the floor
It lost another piece each time
Never seeing, you were blind
To open up and finally see
I am here, always will be
You thought of us as only friends
Until your heart finally bends
Leaning in toward my direction
Where you'll get all my attention
No more silent loneliness
As each day I will confess
My love in so many ways
There will never be a day
More unhappiness will see
It's way to you, you are now free

Ive Been Ragged On

I’ve been ragged on
I’ve been pushed around
And I plead to the sky above
When is my time to be loved

Is there a time for me
Oh I just let me be
It certainly is not their show
How would they know

It’s been such a long time
To be standing in the long line
Here I am I’ve paid the fare
Laying my lonely heart bare.

Ive Got To Learn To Say No

Message after message
Always troubled with concerns
I lend an ear - a voice
You’d think by now I would have learned

Hours and hours of drama
Filled with emotional selfish needs
Is this how you treat your best friend?
Dumping everything on me

I use reason and logic
To keep her calm and reassured
I can’t tell if she is listening
Her response is loquaciously immature

I like to think that I am helping
But it’s hurting me so
Taking advantage of our friendship
I’ve got to learn to say no

Another message another evening
Its seems her friends have let her down
She just needed someone to talk to
She always knows I’ll be around

She started talking about them badly
She probably talks the same about me
Sometimes it makes me wonder
If helping her is killing me

So I’ll send another message
It helps her sleep throughout the night
But as I lay here in the darkness
I hope and pray I’ll be alright

It’s going to take some time
Change begins with me - this I know
Taking advantage of our friendship
I’ve got to learn to say no

All That Ive Done

All That I’ve Done
—————————

For all that I’ve done, my feelings have none, no sight was unseen but yet far from one, the days that we dared, the moments we shared, now can’t be undone, the thrill of agony or was it defeat, I can’t help but notice my life incomplete, for all that you do, and through all I need you, just now can’t be won, thats all that I’ve done...

I’ve Taken My Licks
Written: by Tom Wright
1/19/2013

Our lives are like a Sugar Daddy Sucker,
Where each new day we get one lick;
Most days are sweet but oft we pucker,
Finding tartness as we near the stick;

We find some licks filled with madness,
On others the caramel we will taste.
Some licks start with joyful gladness,
But later with sadness licks are laced.

Adversity is a certainty so we tolerate,
For each day isn’t filled with glowing.
When taste is waning it’s growing late,
It’s about finished, if stick is showing.

I’ve Worn No Cape
By: Miracle Man
11/19/2018

Now that coziness is gone,
I view my past as a changing story filled with memories.
Most have the lifespan of a shared kiss
From a face I no longer recognize.
Others became a memory that’s flown from existence;

I can’t enumerate the sidewalk cracks I’ve stepped over
That caused stumble but nary a fall.

I’ve allowed words to betray my thoughts,
For once spoken they became whispers in the breeze,
Blowing like crumpled paper
Before coming to rest in winters dead grass.

Ive Lived

I've lived
I've loved
Sometimes failed
Had success
Been at the top of the world
And in deep dark valleys

I've experienced
Joy
Laughter
Sadness and tears
Been very brave
And scared to death

I've felt good
And sometimes terrible
I've been nice
Rotten at times
I've been proud
And ashamed more than once

I've done more good
Than bad
Collected loves and friends
Along the way
I've had happy days
And some quite sad

Overall it's been a grand journey
With few regrets
And when it's time for me to go
I hope that I've left
A bright path
For you to follow

Things Ive Wondered

Was there a magic potion you drank that gave you the courage
To love another?
If so please tell me where I can go
Did they manage to give you more butterflies in the pit of your stomach
love you in ways I never did ?
Were you finally understood by them in ways I never could
Did you enjoy the taste of something new or did the new taste just remind you
More of my absence
 Did their lips feel the same as mine against your skin or the way they held you
Dear did you ever wonder if I was wrapped up falling in love with someone else ,If I ever tried to get rid of your memory?
Did that fear ever come to mind ?
That maybe the day you ever came back , you’d find me in the arms of someone else

Premium MemberIve Got You Darling When Your Fallen

I’VE GOT YOU DARLING WHEN YOU’RE FALLEN

I come before you with arms and hands open wide;
You’ve fallen down on hard times, love got you falling;
I’m yet here standing tall as a mountain never moving;
Rest assure my dear I’ll catch you I’m on your side;
Never resting, never ending till I have all of you;
Never nesting, being complaient I’ll be redeeming you;
I’m sure, love always  got your back;
Love always where your at;
In the darkness, within earthen pains;
In the skies, clouds and in the rains;
I’m yet here standing tall as a mountain never moving;
Rest assure my dear I’ll catch you I’m on your side;
No matter how high you are;
No matter where you fall from;
I’ll be there me the Lord Jesus and God;
To catch you when you fallen
I got you darling when you’re falling;

Ive Seen Hell

I've seen hell many lights ago, the light at
the end of the tunnel grows dimmer
 and dimmer I'm alone.

The demons dance on my heart what
a start I've seen hell. The bells ring
 10 times I believe, crying out for help,
 no one hears me. I've became mute
, I've seen hell.

My dreams consist of cutting, all the
pain I've felt came to light Satan's laughs
as I grab the knife, I've seen hell.
 The fire grows stronger will I last much longer?

Hell a soft ocean of loss souls with the hint
of sadness through all this madness I
burn with sadness; fear has cried out ,
demons shout come dance
with me, as I weep amongst
 the trees I feel to my knees.

tears run down my eyes what a
 surprise I think I died .
I've seen souls who cried out but
 never made a sound. I've seen
 demons wearing crowns as
 all the souls bow...  With silence...
Now frowns... I've seen hell.
