A JULY 4TH REFLECTION: 2025

It’s July fourth,
And the POTUS seeks
Elimination
Of immigration
In America,
Although his parents
Immigrated here:
Father coming from
Hilter’s Germany
Which id the womb
Of the fascistic type
Of politics of
The POTUS today,
In his bigoted
Power mongering
Issuing of laws
That are so unjust;
And forcing Congress
To pass likewise laws
To ensure making
This land great again,
In its mockery
Of independence
And justice for all,
In this so-called land
Of democracy,
Built on land severed
From indigenous
Free occupancy;
How strange this must be
Following Juneteenth
And for descendants
Of who this land was:
Hey, it’s July fourth,
Independence day
In America;
Have a blessful day
In celebrating
In divine wisdom
And its clear guidance
In making this land
Again, the land of
The free, with justice
And equality
For all who live here
In God’s onederful
Oneness of onement:-

Please!

A car was parked illegally;
The hydrant wasn’t cleared,
Plus it was by a nursing home
And might have interfered.

I never would have noticed it,
But signage did impart
That a tow truck would be coming
‘Cause the engine wouldn’t start.

Thee note said “Please!” perhaps to cops
Who rarely have the choice
About issuing a ticket to
A reprobate Rolls Royce!

Premium MemberSafety Net

The safety net dangles
blows, twists, and turns
in the increasing winds
cut from its moorings,
and the people fall
grasping for
the shredded and useless
remains
evisceration of social programs
Medicaid, food stamps
consumer protection
job security
cuts to vital research
alienation of long-faithful allies
emulating dictators instead
flouting of the courts
rescinding environmental laws
erasing history and
all vestiges of non-white
accomplishments
making America white again
issuing edicts to silence
all who do not bend
the media universities
judges Congress
art and social institutions
theater and concerts
forcing religion in schools
Constitution be damned!
and the torn safety nef
flaps in the wind

the mismolding of the lens

Courageous stories end courageous words, issuing peaceful assemblies
Laid away as day was valued, enjoyed without symbol
Divisive victory hiding overtures of bread
Hardships and arrogance about how we fed
In adams apple, the evening gowns
And cities skied believing hounds
Talks behind, collard barrels as wine
Another stretch and dance
A loft, building a glance
So far ahead the subway can fly
Counting callouses torn, empty greetings sigh
Departing mystery of burning sisterly
Caverns of sounds
Jostling of crowns

Death of a lake

A lake,
landmark to
locate easily
my nest like
home, a center
to ever widening
concentric city,
lies without life,
no fishes, no ducks,
no mosquitoes,
not even microbes
exist within.

Like a frozen body
intact, lake is
kept as a
keep-sake, for
there will be no
other places to
dump such waste;
chemicals flowing
from a few hundred
factories, slush, sewage,
garbage reaches her
in hushed silence.

When people
flock to see
with curious
eyes the fire
and froth issuing
from the lake,
taking pictures,
striking unison
notes-aw’s, wow’s,
as if it is all
of the lake’s doing,
my ears hurt-ache-burn.

I see a crow
sitting on
electric pole
cocking its head,
looking restlessly
at people or
mourning the
death of lake,
I can’t say, but,
with as expressionless
face as that of the crow
I turn with heavy steps,
ruffled, helpless,
towards my home.

Premium MemberSilence

Forceful displays are never her intention,
But she will constantly plea for your attention.

Doctors should order silence long before
Our lives are entangled in webs of disorder.

Souls long to rest in the arms of a silent embrace.
There is not the slightest sound nor faintest squeak

When silence speaks. Indeed, silence does speak volumes,
Most purely divine and most highly solemn. In silence,

Exterior sounds have worn thin. In silence, sounds are
Released from within. There are magnanimous gifts of

Silent frequencies, flowing freely through the canopy
Under the sun. And the universal language of silence

Is hidden from no one. Moreover, the sound of silence
Is the sweetest music to our ears, often issuing

Healings and restoration with calming tears; many
Of which have been backlogged for years.

Premium MemberSpecial Deliveries

From the deepest reservoirs of the heart,
There resides the source of our soul's river.
From the beginning, from the very start,
There is the issuing out of a river flow,
Without this, we would cease to grow.

Sometimes releasing a myriad of issues,
Or just a few, revealing things old and new,
Heavenly mysteries that we never knew.

Without ceasing, occasionally gushing,
Often with force like white water rapids.
It is continually rushing to and fro.

It ceases not its navigation through
Its faithful ever-ready conduits,
Continually cleansing and healing
Along its elongated passage.

So, let the river flow.
Make room for its overflow.
Let every tributary join its force
As their waters congeal to reach the
Awaiting open sea. Let there be no dams,
Delays, or detours. Let the river determine
Its own course. Read carefully what the river is saying
And embrace those 'Special Deliveries' from the heart.

Loving Life

All the little things we do for others builds a fortune in return.
The bridges we cross should be blessed with flower seeds instead of torches that burn.
There indeed is a thing called Carma which in essence is the frequency sent out and returns in a manafold respect.
With acts of vengence and words of strife always returns to the one issuing the response and neglect.

There is a deep mystical metaphysical meaning to this precious opportunity to explore life and all its glories.
A time to share, a time to weep, a time for joy and woes adding to the creators endless stories.
Once the perception clears in finding everything is one and One is everything there is only expansion.
Bringing only the cream of the crop to the very top for your eternal provided mansion.

Luck and Lack

I see  some lucky black people
                        Complaining of lack of  finance
While walking on golds , sulphurs,
                       Coltans, emeralds and diamonds.

Some people  make jock of them
As they don't solve their problems
                While continue issuing verbal ultimatum
                         to some local political leaders.

Premium MemberAirliner In Storm Is Not Doing Well

Airliner in the storm is not doing well
Pilot is having difficulty keeping it in the air
Tossing and turning, careering with each stormy swell

Stewardess do not tip us off, issuing us all kinds of care
Each one squelching their own internal light for our sake
My eyes are fixated on the dark clouds that appear with a glare

747 gives a quiver, a drop, and at last a shiver and shake.
Sky marshal holds onto the seat until his knuckles are white
There is a loud boom that sounds like an earthquake.

I wonder if we will make it safely or be a plane crash sight.
Others are praying, phones put away, rosary beads on their laps
I swear I see a halo around an old lady’s head and it is bright.

Suddenly there is a clap, no a series of loud angry claps.
In succession, bam, bang, bam, bang, bam, bang, bam.
The plane begins a descent and we all hear familiar flaps.

Thunder envelops us in series of freezing cold wraps
Airliner in the storm is not doing well
Others are praying, phones put away, rosary beads on their laps
Tossing and turning, careering with each stormy swell

Venetian’s ombre’ sky fades periwinkle purple into powder turquoise blue.
silvery rhinestone of a star is possibly tossed down by goddess Venus
Gondoliers are slumbering with their wives as their vessels still themselves
the bay is not silent, there is tiny lapping of the waves issuing a joyful hello
Such quietude needs no extra energy of a creature, person or bird.
A lone damsel fly flits into the bay, followed by a gorgeous Luna moth.
I sit at the end of the pier feeling like the only person in the world.
Pleased and joyful that at this moment in this location at I am.

Seigniorage - Bitcoin Poem 051 - Problems and Solutions Series 13

Seigniorage refers to the profits
A government earns by creating and
Issuing new currency for a nation, but
The seigniorage benefits those in power
Who receive the new money first via the
               Cantillon effect. Specifically, the Federal
Reserve, the US Treasury, & large banks
                     Therefore
In order to foster more equality in finance
We can move to a decentralized currency
In the Bitcoin network the profits earned
From creating new bitcoin are given out
To those who work maintaining and
Securing the network, rather than to
Any centralized person or group

Could platinum coin deposit
In the U.S. Treasury's closet
Our debts enjoin?
A trillion-dollar coin
Might yield a government profit

Author's Note: Section 31 U.S.C. § 5112 of the United States Code authorizes the Treasury Department to "mint and issue platinum bullion coins" in any denominations the Secretary of the Treasury may choose. This privilege only extends to platinum coins. Thus, if the Treasury were to mint a few one-trillion dollar platinum coins, it could deposit such coins in the general fund instead of issuing debt (lol).

Seigniorage is the difference between the receipts from the Federal Reserve System from the sale of circulating coins at face value and the costs of minting and distributing the coins. Seigniorage is deposited periodically to the General Fund where it reduces the government's need to borrow.

Of course, this might create a wave of inflation. But we should all realize that the value of paper currency eventually tends to zero. In any event, the inflation we've experienced in 2022 is just a taste of what's to come since the politicians don't want to explain a depression to their voters. We're entering strange times.

Premium MemberSchool Annual Fall Festival

All the children were excited, climbing the walls
Time for Annual Fall Festival at Crabbe Elementary
Corn shocks and jack-o’-lanterns decorated the halls.

The public invited, so at the door stood a sentry
Checking identification and issuing free passes
Time for Annual Fall Festival at Crabbe Elementary.

Responsible for a game were each of the classes
With prizes provided by the local mercantile shops
Checking identification and issuing free passes.

I never thought for a festival I’d see so many cops
But “the times they are a’changin’;” a swell affair
With prizes provided by the local mercantile shops.

Once kids could have fun all day long at a school fair
Parents always enjoy getting to know one another
But “the times they are a’changin’;” a swell affair,

Until I saw a four-year-old trying to find his mother
All the children were excited, climbing the walls,
Parents always enjoy getting to know one another
Corn shocks and jack-o’-lanterns decorated the halls.
