Bitten by an Iscariot snake
#blossommonyei
I trusted you, we had our fun,
Shared so much, thought we were one.
But when I needed you the most,
You turned away, just like a ghost.
It hurt so deep, I felt alone,
Lessons learned, a heart of stone.
Now I see who’s really true,
I’ll be careful with friends like you.
Though pain is real, I’ll find my way,
Stronger now, come what may.
Betrayal stings, but I will rise,
Building trust, with clearer eyes.

Judas Iscariot (Where Greatest Was Need)
So little their faith that the lost He did save,
it's not part of life but belongs in the grave.
Were it only as large as the smallest of seed,
they'd believe His success where greatest was need.
The heel lifted up they saw rightly not clean;
the reason He washed it they can't seem to glean.
Were only their faith as the smallest of seed,
they'd believe His success where greatest was need.
Was He delivered by Satan or God?
They want it both ways, and think it not odd.
Were only their faith as the smallest of seed,
they'd believe His success where greatest was need.
Thirty pieces of silver they say sold Him short,
but selling His failure's the sale He'll abort.
Were only their faith as the smallest of seed,
they'd believe His success where greatest was need.

They asked: “Why did you seal His death with a kiss?
What did He ever do to you?”
“Well the truth is, is that I was sent
To make sure Master did what He was supposed to do
I made sure that He would save the world
Through the Crucifixion, through His blood
It broke my heart to see him die in pain
If I could’ve saved Him, believe me I would”
They then asked: “But you sold Him for thirty pieces.
Shouldn’t the King be worth more?
But I laughed and said, “Ah ha you’re wrong
For I threw the thirty pieces on the floor
The Master was ‘betrayed’ for free
I could not put a price on His head
I could not bear the thought of knowing
My Teacher would soon be dead”
The last question they asked was:
“Do you think you’ll go to Heaven after what you’ve done?”
I thought for a while and answered, “I hope so
For I was God’s chosen one.”
They smiled as they departed
I prayed they finally understood me
And guilt finally devoured my soul
And I hung myself on a tree

Why, Judas why?
Your kissed became the treachery symbol
Sold your faith but hanged yourself and die
After you returned that thirty pieces of silver
Why, Judas why?
Might you have a big crisis for money?
A sick parent or child, perhaps
To cure their pain, but 'twas cut in the story
You returned the dazzling silver
Might they've never fulfilled their promise
To never hurt your master
That's why you weep unto your best
Why, Judas why
If the tree and the rope could talk, they'll never lie
Might you've kissed the image of your master in the wind
Before you bid the world goodbye

My phone rang and it was my
lover calling.
How am i to know,
It was to talk of an empire's
falling.
I raised my eye brow,
With a face full of smiling,
Not knowing it was my judas
cock crow..
She hid a secret she now
declares,
That she was to be another's
wife.
She said "take care,"
But she was the love of my life.
Now I had to take note and be
aware.
Before I become the deadly
victim of love's strafe.
Clothed with the purple blossom
of judas tree.
Now I finally realise,
That she had been telling me
lies.
Of how we will be lovers until
she dies
My eyes can see clearly,how
time flies
How time exposes the truth like
fire flies
All these,I see with my eyes.
What crimes have I committed?
To be rewarded with betrayal.
From her heart,my memories
she evicted.
Oh no!what caused her to be so
disloyal
A new groom her heart elected.
Going through the summer
times,
With my friends all around,
Asking for my crimes,
My only crime was loving a
damsel in distress.
For her I write these lines
Because after she left
I found my gold mines.

Judas Iscariot
Through and through bent and bowed,
your withered heart cries aloud.
Alone oh, so alone!
In tempests darkened blackened soul
I stared, stared unto the night
where broken angels hid from sight.
Was it Satan who offered up
a golden chalice, a golden cup?
So the priests and Judas too
agreed on thirty pieces for the Jew.
As the silver was counted out;
see the Roman soldiers all about.
Now to betray with a kiss,
an ear cut off you’ll never miss.
Poor Peter denied me thrice,
as the cock crows run like mice.
So to the temple Iscariot goes,
seeking justice seeking blows.
Find a tree, ta hang ye by,
broken man soon ta die.
This field of blood know this day,
is where Judas chose ta lay.
Pilate asked a clever ruse,
“Art thou, the king of the Jews?”
Through and through, bent and bowed,
your withered heart cries aloud.
Alone oh, so alone !
In tempests darkened blackened soul
I stared, stared unto the night,
where broken angels hid from sight.

A.W. Nutter
Morning grass laden with diamonds
Reflecting light as the sun ascends
Sleep riddled muscles slow to respond
Fear shoved aside as hunger transcends
Past sins continue to haunt the present
Forever trapped in an earth bound hell
The plague of suffering is heaven sent
My soul imprisoned in a living shell
Born to a sadist, another reprobate
Life a facsimile of countless others
Reincarnation, my preordained fate
Symbolic murders in my thirtieth year
Breeze caressing, naked legs and chest
Involuntarily shivering from the cold
God's retribution, collecting his debt
As this day of torture begins to unfold
My master approaches giving me a kiss
Before he begins carving away the skin
Eons of screams, echoing in the abyss
No salvation offered, no remission of sin
