Fall season is a favored time of year
when leaves irradiate their aurum cheer.

Custard colors cloak paths with brilliantine
while misty breezes tease the woods to sheen.

A couturière flouncing haute couture,
adorning the hillside with striped hachure.

Rich gemstones of ornate colors convey
an elegance to Her brilliant bouquet.

Wild winds blow briskly and bracingly strong.
High mountain tops lace in silver sarong.

Her splendent figure, festive femme fatale,
reigns regally pluperfect pastorale.

Her flamboyant panache is très chic.
Au fond, She's decisively magnifique!

Written On My Mind

Father God in You I hope to find
That Your words stay written on my mind
Etch onto my heart
Your infinite wisdom on how to live
Let Your words nourish my soul
Fueled by the love that to me You did give

Father God in You I pray to see
All the You desire me to be
Irradiate, illuminate
Let Your words light my way
Intensify and modify me
Every single day

Father God from You I desire to receive
Your Holy Ghost power so that I can proceed
To be on a mission for the Great Commission
To be your fervent servant with Your permission
So satiate and saturate me
With the Holy Scriptures
Let those anointed words percolate in me
Until I get the full robust gospel picture

Father God in You I pray to find
That Your blessed words stay written on my mind
Cover me with the sacred blood
That was shedded on Mt. Calvary
Consecrated me with Your grace
Confer unto me Your mercy
I now bow down to Your magnificence
Your awesomeness and Your power
And hope to one day stand with You
In your Heavenly Tower

So let those words in the Bible
Remain with me til the end of time
Lord may Your anointed words
Stay written on my mind

BEAUTIFUL FALL

Brisk the breeze that shivers the pines,
Excites the mind, in throes of daydreams,
About escaping from the tests — that litter of
Untimely pop quizzes of consequence.
Thrust the football — enervate the bleachers!
Irradiate the touchdown of the student body cheeks.
Freeze the lament of leaves in joyous hue!
Unfasten the laces of maple and oak hairdos.
Loosen the season’s best gourds and wild relief.

Fall into the raked leaves of Autumnal bliss, the
Allspice of uniforms and costumes, the vainglorious
Lift — running down the padded field and making passes.
Learned in school - the beautiful charm of Fall.

You

Why do the stars shine so bright?
Don't they know that your beaming smile can already irradiate a whole universe?

Stop Hating My Blackness

Why do you see me by the
colour of my skin and not
the depth of what lies within,
why do you blame the culture
I'm from instead of seeing me
as just a human, why don't you
research history and see my
success and victory through
slavery? I walk into your shop,
thinking I'm there to steal so
your security follow me like
I'm on twitter but no I'm better.
Don't snare me for my shade
because of your hate or other
bad elements, I'm eloquent and
decent. My greater parents did
the time, almost like they were
sentence to life, treated like swines
when it was just the colour of our
skin suffering the brutal torment of
your sins. I don't hate you, yes I
blame you, yes I would irradiate
the thoughts of your hate so
you'd have no reason to celebrate
and hate on my beautiful shade,
yet you sit in the sun to emulate.

To Walk Alone

To walk alone without a friend or a foe is to live a life alone. How do I achieve such
task which is impossible when human do exist. Do I look through them as a picture
window or transparent object. To walk alone is to be a woman on an island without
a soul. How do I achieve the impossible when my heart is desperate to walk solo.
Can I irradiate humans just to achieve my desire or do I give avert eyes as human beings pass me by. To walk alone, where there are so many homospiens where ever I go is to look but not to see - therefore, I will and must walk alone with my heart and eyes close.
