MORNING'S GENTLE HUSH
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The world awakens from its soft dreams
The stars fade out, like embers cold,
The sunrise paints the sky with hues of gold.
The darkness slowly starts to flee,
The trees, like sentinels of old,
Stand guard, their branches stretching bold.
The dew-kissed grass reflects the sun's rays,
The air, crisp and cool, with scents of bloom,
Invigorates the senses, a morning perfume.
The world, in all its beauty lies
‘Tis a time for dreams, a time for hope,
A time for new beginnings, with the morning we elope.
To follow the law or comply with
Asks Mister Smith
Forwarding though the current
Or drift
The flow is uncontrolled
The task is manifold
And distance within
This our engine
Appears both new and old
My only nemesis
Placing an emphasis
On something we must understand
Humanity fantasies
Trans and the extasies
Deity rules should be banned
As time you spend your day
In data flow
Don't be surprised to find yourself on deathly row
As reading of the fiction
Enriches your cognition
Invigorates the vision
With adequaCY THOUGH
And differing the fiction
And real facts of life
Is really your own mission
And target of your strive
Where computing meets
Unsolvable for it
My horse move greatly beats
And thus get you Merit
Distinction makes distinctive
And thus the difference
Who made wild life extensive
The flea adheres
Life of the parasites are for the parasites
To choose a way to earn approve
Remove the satellites
In a dream
being chauffeured
to where? I do not know
where? the silence stifling
still as the night,
stars glowing…
but the chauffeur, driving
heedless to my faith –
Jesus is dead, he speaks
like a bullhorn
going off in my mind,
grief surrounds me
but the dream comes to life…
“He is ALIVE!”
I say it, my voice amplified
WHO IS THIS MAN?
my mind enters the war
with his spirit – evil words
a dark that won’t heal
a world filled with sorrow
pain and so much horror!
“HE IS ALIVE!”
my voice doesn’t tremble
I am at war, the shield will defend me.
“He is ALIVE!”
“He is ALIVE!”
“HE IS ALIVE!”
And, that is how it ends
I wake up, speaking, announcing
to the dawn…
He lives and so I can smile!
the chauffeur is a liar…
His love invigorates my life
His light flows through the dark,
quieting the fears,
wiping away the tears
He’ll always be here – always
He is ALIVE and I can survive
because He is mine,
this Jesus who will never die.
Oh, how that chauffeur lied!
In my travels
I seek thee
Amongst the snow capped mountains,
The scenic valleys,
Meandering rivers
That meets the turquoise sea
The rolling meadows
And sprinkling streams
The azure sky above
Connect me to the supreme being
A transcendental journey
That invigorates and rejuvenates me
On a spiritual level
I watch the yellow moon on a colourless night
Sounds of cricket breaking the hum of silence
Distant footsteps echo through the streets
It is a labyrinth to a visitor uncalled for
There is the sea, with a golden strip of fiery reflection of the moon
Nose is cold but the smell of Fall invigorates an old soul
Leaves fall from the vines
And hedges kiss the gardens long forgotten
Thus, old soul drinks from the fountain herein
Sun is the Moon
Moon is the Sun
So it is
And may it ever be
The moon is hidden!
Like the Sun in an eclipse
Breath of the dragon prevails nevertheless
Its coming to me
And everyone that sees it
Only the wise know it is the phoenix in its sleep
When he wakes
Summer will show its face once again
And leaves will also be ripe again
To dance the eternal dance
Acompanied by the sound of Creation
The night slowly makes its way away from here and now
Fire is extinguishted and the sea is calm once again
Lost sight of the moon, it is hidden by a dark cloud
The mist engulfs the visions in a comfortable way
Wake up and realize!
There is no dreams on such a solitary night
Impermanence it is
And can only ever be
A sip of the elixir that invigorates the soul.
The euphoria that it gives calms the nerves.
A fuel of one's enthusiasm to face a new day.
Waker of one's slumbering blood.
Like a burning sunrise that sets the mood,
its glowing reflection stirs the spirits
to dip within the depth of its warmth
and burn the roots of sluggishness.
Where bursting figures desire to be lean,
it fits the path towards the flinty goal,
for, it awakens even the drowsing souls,
to flex and stretch their limpy limbs.
Wonderful water welcomes life on Earth.
For life water is requisite to flourish flora and fauna.
Encore ! Water invigorates life on Earth to restore.
Water is amazing asset preserved in landmass and aqua flow.
Earth transforming transcending species on evolution.
Earth is the hospitable habitat : The only Solar Planet.
With my furry, white companion, Luna by my side,
We venture forth in Colorado's wide-open stride.
My dog's tail wags, a joyous sight,
As we embark on our hike, under the sky's bright light.
The crisp mountain air invigorates,
As we navigate the trails with a steady gait,
Amidst Colorado's natural beauty all around,
With each step we take, a new wonder is to be found.
We explore the wild, my dog and I,
In Colorado's rugged terrain, beneath the endless sky.
Her bark echoed through valleys and hills,
A symphony that the wilderness fills.
The wild terrain, we explore with glee,
My dog's wagging tail is pure harmony.
Nature's splendor, a feast for the eyes,
As we journey under the endless skies.
SPOUTING INKGASM
Time heals, season reveals,
It invigorates artistry & obliterates skills.
Profligacy of time mops up a beautiful mess,
saturated on the ageless smile of my empress.
But just like the simple touch on the nipples
that dabbles reasoning in sweet sequels,
and invites esctasy-like stimulation,
so your embodiment beguils my imagination;
extricating syntax from my indelible pen,
and causing a flow of inkgasm now & then.
Dutiful
Dawn invigorates her hands
Diligent
She's chauffeured by her goals
Daring
She doesn’t rest on her oars
A woman who has sojourned
Conquered and returned
Cloaked by midnight
She battled fiercely and prevailed
She watches over her house
She retires to her chamber to ponder on the day
Aged but not caged
Slowed but not stopped.
Do away with everything that gives you stress
Tomorrow will be another day to press
Embrace the night with great delight
As it comes usually to pause your fight
John works so hard he doesn't believe in rest
Even in dead night he dares to climb on Everest
In his prime he died of cardiac arrest
Below the earth where he's laid to rest
He can't dare aspire to leave the nest
For those who think less of rest
There's a silence that characterizes the night
So powerful that it invigorates the brain
Rain or shine the night is a confidant and won't cause a drain
Each and everyday there's a loan to pay
The day is a loanshark where you get an oker of dismay
If you go through each and everyday
Without rest in the night you'll become gray
September 2022
By Franklin Price
09/01/2022
September is a winsome month
It welcomes in the fall
The kids have gotten back to school
Vacation days have had their call
The leaves will soon be turning
To the colors that amaze
What a joy, the Autumn is
As in our younger days
The nights already cooler
The days will follow soon
Chill in the air invigorates
Underneath the harvest moon
Stop a minute, take some time
To enjoy the Autumn's view
All too soon it will be winter
Spring will bring green leaves anew
Such a small gesture
a cold bottle of water;
It invigorates;
Refreshing swallow cuts sweat
leaving lips once again wet;
There’s no replacement
for a bit of ice melting;
Dripping down your skin
a trail of chills and shivers,
Your nerve endings awaken;
Divinely flavored
a lingering taste of love
to keep you balanced;
Not letting the well go dry
you provide me sustenance.
In the cold early spring breeze, there are whispers of new beginnings
The crow caws in it’s mystical way as the hawks circle above
Cars fly by with those lost, with dead minds and blind eyes
The cold spring breeze and it’s whispered secrets seems just for me
As I stroll this dawn morning path alone. Embracing the stinging cold
Life is too be lived in the outdoors, not hiding from life glued to TV screens
the seasons in each of their own ways invigorates the very soul
embrace them all and listen close to the secrets they speak in whispers
my thoughts as I stroll along, in wonder at this early spring dawn
with revigorated by it’s cold morning breeze
