Embrace the Night Rest

Do away with everything that gives you stress Tomorrow will be another day to press Embrace the night with great delight As it comes usually to pause your fight John works so hard he doesn't believe in rest Even in dead night he dares to climb on Everest In his prime he died of cardiac arrest Below the earth where he's laid to rest He can't dare aspire to leave the nest For those who think less of rest There's a silence that characterizes the night So powerful that it invigorates the brain Rain or shine the night is a confidant and won't cause a drain Each and everyday there's a loan to pay The day is a loanshark where you get an oker of dismay If you go through each and everyday Without rest in the night you'll become gray
