To Levitate
Star shades dance on the sea spotlighted by harbour light
seen when you levitate unhindered by an earthly body
when the sea is dusky silk, sleep under an abstract cloud
embraced by Morpheus's insentience.
As the astral body arises held by a fine thread of life
that can spontaneously snap by instantaneous Zephyr
from the galaxy of restless stillness,
speed back to the body dulled, lest the sleep is forever.
Echo return contoured by consciousness
Oft ignores our interconnectedness
Sternest rebuff being indifference
In a poignant, painful, time stretched silence
Mitigating our innate blissfulness
Endearing touch of childlike lovingness
Vibrantly bubbling agendalessness
Burns, upturns, on facing insentience
Echo return
Hermit mode, in perfect, brilliant stillness
Recognising underlying oneness
Heals to so reveal, soul’s luminescence
Engaging innocently in parlance
Learns that egos stern, reflect not kindness

Façade-glossed eyes
Spilling out
Keeling from inside
This is not
What I traded for a pay check
A calendar space
Insentience
This is not dilated pupils
Suggestive smirks on long open nights
Sidewalk flocks through the blinking city sights
This is antithesis
A nihilistic spectacle
Handfuls of myself
Slung at some meaningless backdrop
Of tedious, grievous facelessness
I am dead weight
Basking in a womb of ruin
DIY
Self-inflicted holocaust,
Ashen, laughing
Swearing that I’ll rise
This is not life
Lying awake
Vexing over lost, losing, perpetual time
Abiotic, unborn
Pressing through groupthink, Stacholm syndrome,
Wondering when I died
