The brevity of time in space 
a moment may trice an instant 
in your lifetime can't be measured 
nor your species, your world, nor of 
your sun's lifetime, for tis the absolute 
measure of infinity ... it is you who is the

It seems humour is much appreciated
In this troubled world we live in
So I will continue to send out the giggles
Seems like there's not a lot of us
That write with a lighter touch
Which matches my personal approach to life
We're all just rushing to that glorious meeting
Way up yonder amongst the stars
Well I've still got some unfinished

Indigo Infinitum

In the indigo infinitum of your seamless sky
I am like a beguiled bird
Serene I remain in the surging storm
Within your fervent fold
You won’t let it wriggle my whispering wings
In the yonder firmament of your yearning
I will forever fly.

A bird, I fly in the azure infinitum of your seamless sky, 
when the clouds carry the storm, so assured I remain, 
you won’t let it wriggle my whispering wings, I won’t cry, 
for in your heart's fervent firmament I will soar again.

Driving down the road of life.

How sad, to be lost in a world where it is ever dark.
How tragic, to not see art.
To sink, when petals float,
to think, when the heart already knows.

I dived deep within your chest,
drowned proudly, in peaceful death.

about school yard politics, or should I say school yard bullying

it started for me in elementary school    
I was different in this public school of adolescent
annoying, power hungry kids
I was part Ojibwe, a girl very quiet and shy

Does the tree fall?
Does the cell multiply, 
Even when we don’t observe,
Watch,
Study?

When we lose our self,
In mathematics?
When the last tree falls
And you are not there 
To listen, to hear, to observe the
Death of nature’s prized possession.

Sound does not exist, if only in our
Heads,
Brains,
Minds,
Reality.
A perception of waves in the air.
Moving, vibrating.

Taxes, Fees and Surcharges Ad Infinitum!

Along with other assorted mail, I received the telephone bill today.
I thoroughly examined it and discovered much to my dismay,
A bewildering assortment of taxes, fees and sundry charges.
It seems that with each passing month the confounded list enlarges!

A new fee was added called "The Low Income Phone Assistance Fund."
This was perplexing, leaving me thoroughly outraged
