Premium MemberAdieu Peat Briquette - Ephemera

Eco fuels at home are warmly cherished,
obligation calls and duly heeded,
in the past a smokeless coal,
allied to peat briquette the norm,
a less than ideal medley I’d agree,
I have this last briquette in camera folder,
on the day it was eventually disposed of,
an ahh moment if there ever was one,
Yet I cling to reminiscence round a warm hearth,
with my sister Jay’s wondrous glowing orb,
how she giggled so infectiously at will,
as intense vivid red flames leaped,
deep down inside we knew this couldn’t last,
a rubicon of sorts had now been crossed,
one final soiled clump of history,
that would resonate deep into late life mists,
our family clustered gaping in amazement,
at momentary flight of era toss on film,
an eternally preserved instant fetish,
some poignant flashback a capsule

Did I Mention

Did I mention that I love you?

That the touch of your skin is pure ecstasy,
Lips of nectar, but full of intensity,
Now I’m addicted, your alexia of love consumes me infectiously,
Independence is over, now a relationship made of sweet serenity,
A perfect combination, encased forever, our lover’s legacy,
A life together forever or until death do, we part,
The day my heart beat stops,
Or time seizes and not another clock will tic toc,
Until that day my love for you is yours to command,
To have and to hold, forever hand in hand.

Brown Sugar

**Double Acrostic**

****Brown Sugar****

Bourbon complexion small tight frame, fancy.
Rhythm sensual, untamed yet so classy.
Overall a perfect ten, infectiously sassy!
Wily this temptress, like the modern day
Nefertiti, I kneel before this empress

Sweet never sour, passionate to the core.
Understanding, we've built a strong rapport.
Glamorous, she is everything and more. Her
Alluring imperfections most impressive.
Rapturous, I yearn for her defection!

Halley's Comet

What have you seen, moon’s sister?
With your deep and distant eyes.
And endless dominoes of experience
Having worn your cheeks
And gritted your teeth

Where did you come from?
Bruised inside and out
Still proud, still firm
In the face of a million eyes
You do not blink

Who knows your smile?
So bright, yet so sad
A golden river in a pale crystal,
Kissed by the fleeting cosmos,
Struck by musclebound meteors of time.

Why hide that face?
So often from adoration-
Perhaps out of shame, guilt, deprecation
Undeserved- save for those special nights
When we see and feel some of who you are truly

When will we really know you?
Why you cry and infectiously laugh,
Your burns and yearns of desire;
Never in this lifetime, not we
Too far away to hold or touch you.

Showering

Droplets delicately adorn the skin
dressing it with diamonds of life.
How you seduce the mind,
your peals pleasingly relaxing the body.
Soothing the soul,
your warmth trails playful affection,
infectiously raising temperatures
whilst refreshing hidden areas,
cleansing parts unseen;
until your passionate embrace is over,
and quietly you renew your natural force.
Waiting, welcoming tired spirits,
awakened, your piped need to run free escapes.
Then caught, trapped and suspended once more.
You stand now powerlessly surrendering
while pressures urge of desire to embrace
holds you, patiently awaiting naked return.

My Girl

precious little face
like its made of porceline
pretty little curls
like chains of golden rings
wide beautiful eyes
open to all they see
my perfect english rose
skin of china
eyes blue green
the sweetest funniest laugh
as she giggles infectiously
tiny little girl, so slender, so sleek
thats my millie jayne
and she is my living dream.
