"The unwavering human desire for perpetuity"

Hunger For Life
Desperation reason with destiny to depose inevitability and find utopian coast
Longevity is not an impervious spiritual armor weakened by an invasive ghost
Inculcated within thoughts are prognostications of inexorable advancing years
Endeavors defying the rules of gravity regrettably culminate in shedding tears
Polar winds menace leaves steadfastly clinging on as tainted skies appear dim
Beyond freezing horizons anonymous newly departed faces wander in tandem
Grey whales returned and blizzards withdrew except old towns are in disarray
Hunger for life contesting dreadfulness anticipate the dissolution of a blue day

I met some people in Babylon,
Thinking I was on a secured rock,
They received me with grace,
Hence I became very enthused in shock,
Those early Christians were incredibly brave,
Yet,criticism furnished them to be mocked,
In spite of the intricacy Christ gave,
Couldn't spotlight the whole inclination on board,
I altered all what I've inculcated,
Apparently,I recommended salvation without a cost,
Dressed in doctrines they've fabricated,
Couldn't make a rightful view in a mirror,
I later journeyed through a desert,
Spending five days in tremor,
I became sedent,
After a long travel,
Arived at a place I can't talk about,
What I'm seeing requires no doubt,
The man who denied the Son Of Man,
Told me I'm an alien in Antioch.
That was Peter Simone.

Fallen Idle
I watched a YouTube Ted talk, the guy did well,
Discussing the problems of millennials,
The disenfranchised generation,
Whose parents divorced intercourse,
Whilst aspiring to be like the far film stars,
With wealthy trappings, expensive cars,
Inculcated self belief of making an impact,
Because the parents were too weak to try,
Although they worked hard to survive,
And the growing umbrella of social media,
The face looked, head down upwardly mobile,
Who Twitter about Kardashians as though they are real,
Everyone can do everything they decide to feel,
Absurdity of a real World that doesn't quite behold,
Nor loves support of those fallen idle!

Unsounded minds
whispered twice,
Unopened minds
blinked twice,
Unresolved minds
fought twice,
Unclouded minds
fathomed twice.
Distorted minds
twisted twice,
Disproportionate minds
measured twice,
Disinterested minds
yawned twice,
Disintegrated minds
shattered twice.
Inculcated minds
nodded twice,
Inconclusive minds
repeated twice,
Inexplicable minds
questioned twice,
Irrepressible minds
damned twice.

The greys of words or rhymes of yellow,
Twice or tens or millions stacked in a row,
Which one utters the volition of a fellow?
That we'll leave it upon themselves to show,
For themselves will worry about tomorrow.
Brushes of dissonance and ink set ablaze,
Flames atop fan the ashes of charred maze,
Crafty norms inculcated with a strayed gaze,
Gradients untangle those minds of haze,
For mosaic lives in the sun none laze.
A blank canvas a blank slate,
Tabula rasa in comes a vulnerable state,
Lines of coherence they beg with a plate
Quills dance on scrolls not a moment late,
What enters when judgement knocks the gate?
Verbose cache brimmed the silver frames,
Back they stare the strokes and spaces,
Poised purposefully the question lasts,
A thorough conclusion discerned alas-
"Paintings are worth a thousand words
And poems are worth a thousand paintings."

Through the monthly pains,
Despite the hassles of childbirth,
Yet,you were stoic,
You brought me to life!
In bringing me up,you worked tirelessly.
You placed your dutiful hands to acts,
To make ends meet.
You inculcated in me,the virtue,truthfulness.
You implanted in me,the stand of a virtuous woman;
The worth of womanhood.
Momma, you're my earth,my sun and my rains.
Keep my Momma,oh Lord!

The sin that destroyed trust and faith;
Its root was in lust, in obsession
Which was deadly, a haunting wraith
Which brought greed, extreme passion.
When greed was doomed, wrath came out
Love was killed, jealousy took over
Faith and trust gave way to doubt
Battles developed from endeavour.
These deadly deeds blocked out light
A sin was there in every breath
The world was blackened with ghastly fights
Black, was the tragedy of deaths.
And these sins, dark as ever
Inculcated in the mind of man
Darkened the world forever
Under the vicious reign of Satan...

From a very young age I have been inculcated
And indoctrinated with the belief in god.
I used to have the waking frights in the nights,
Terrific deep fears of “Satan” everywhere and
Horrible nightmares and in those moments
I would call on God to protect me from “Satan”.
Such is the story evolved over thousands of years.
A phobia; promising a carrot and menacing with a stick.
Powerful faith defies all logic as truth is subjective
Old equations and potions never appeal to my mind
Wrong and right my heart of hearts knows well.
Even though I know HE is everywhere
Residing in each being, even in an atom.
Faith is like a mustard seed small in size
Until it grows into the largest ever pasture
Leaving us in awe with His glory and power.
The time when happy, I say, ‘It’s god’s grace’
However when in troubles, I seek Him
Invariably to know where he is.
Never knowing that I’m like a small ant in a basement of
GREAT, vast and unfathomable structured edifice.

An adopted culture
inculcated into individuals
with packages full of half truths
blended with interests so personal
as the convictions of its prey
are bought too cheaply.
A never fully understood process
a system either ambiguous
or full of darkness
yet commands dedication and loyalty
Far from being a lifestyle
a pretender; so hypocritical to spirituality
and a sworn enemy to freedom
appears as the light
but comes in a flash and leaves total darkness
its actual and true nature.
So well obeyed
and diligently served
powerful and mighty
as it is a master
in manipulating the mind.
It's cage is heavy
with thick Iron rods
very small and compressive
but having no lock,
want to come out? Simply open the door
and emancipate yourself.
You need not follow the doctrine of man
to be spiritual
a mortal guide is ideal
but finding your own understanding
is the most appropriate
or else, you'd be burnt
by the deadly flames of religion
NOTE: There is a huge difference between being spiritual and being religious. Even in Christianity, Jesus Christ condemned the pharisees and Sadducees over and over again.. Why? They were religious and not spiritual!

Ere becoming pets we were wolves
Roaming chainless, hunting hares
Hadn't signed the bond of serfdom yet
Nor had learnt to fawn
Then mortgaged freedom for crumbs
Wore dog collar, the slavery-symbol
To earn accolades, learnt snobbishly
The art of detecting thefts and nabbing crime
But despite our serving him
Man was bent on our dimunitive downfall
He rejoiced to see us as bonsai poodles
And portable pocket pups. Yet he feared
In us one untamed heredity trait
The dormant volcano- the Rabies virus
Eventually that too he conquered inventing
A vaccine. Shrewd indeed shrewd! He inculcated
The virtue of loyalty in us just to
Safeguarded it from becoming extinct
