Inclement

Of course, skies are not always clear
our Inclement Mother – we give a pass
for the flowers and crops seem to outweigh
the floods and drownings – besides, we choose
where we reside and pray – even God disadvantaged
often by our resident churches.  Sadly, Love Offerings
are not so different, from other commodities: 10% or
be damned! Silver or gold is OK, even man’s processed
paper stand-in just as good...got to admit, a hell of 
a price to pay, if faith and community are in the same
pocket. I have no measure outside my heart...which I
try to keep open.

Advice For Inclement Weather

Forecasting hurricanes
predict outbreaks of pretty 24 hour weather girls.
Sparrows seek the sheltering wings
of owls and hawks.
Stay in your recharging electric cars -
hand on tight.
By midnight total destruction
of garden gnomes and ornamental flamingos
is guaranteed.
Survivors are asked to remain in their bath tubs
until absolutely clean.

Immense amassing released with rigor

Swept sheets of net beaded curtain search
Momentum saturates parched pasture
Stage dim when naive characters rehearse
Mammoth roles next act has parts for

Novices devise novels with nurture of rain
License to listen for unscripted spirit 
Ripens chapters via brimming quill sustain
Built where subtle begets significant

Winter weather of snow and ice are both beautiful and a hindrance
 beautifully white - forces us to take a break - to rest and recoup
