IMPROMPTU

Her wordless lips
Seemed destined to say,
Yes, I’m the one.
My moveless eyes
Tried to hide my inchoate question,
Are you the one?

In a spontaneous reply
To an unasked question,
The loveliest face
I had ever seen
Turned to meet my gaze.

Our souls felt the warm
Spotlight of magnetism
Irresistibly drawing us

Impromptu

I am silent

Above the shout

The clouds are coming

More roaring than the sea

My tears flowed like waves

Nobody see me as well as ghosts

I walk the streets recklessly

Nobody see me as well as ghosts

Impromptu

i just wrote
a poem a
minute
ago

eight
people
read it but
it's not worth

it as it's
11:46pm
EST and i'm
sure you'd

rather be
where i'd
rather be

sleeping

Impromptu

the poet's mind
races facing
in the mirror
they say my
muse but

even Beethoven
composed him
self before
a mirror not
believing

he was deaf
as all that say
"my muse" isn't
up to writing right
at this moment but

then they wait
and wait for their
muse to sate their
lust or love or hate or
any expression they wish

to spit upon
the page
and if it
isn't a
rage

blame it
on their
confused
muse that
had a bad

day
but
day
by day
i hope and

pray that
i may once
again see the
day when i get
to look face to face

once
again
with my
true muse

Impromptu

she says
take a rest
but i've the rest
of my life to take
one of these and say

sieste
mid day
nap time
retiring into
retirement and

just as
planned
i'm there
sitting on
a chair but

my
eyes are
shut and my
head is hanging
but not sleeping but

crying
for not as
planned you
are no where to
be found and reality

keeps
me even
from trying
to dream because
i want you with me for

real

Rant Impromptu

right from the start
you told me you
weren't going

to be but not
believing
you're

going to be
gone all
night

long now i
long for
thee

miles and
Miles
Davis

plays for you
minimalistic
jazz blues

listen to my
heart beat
and keep

the groove
sell it on
You

Tube but still
can't reach
you even

with a video
almost
p**no

graphically
just me
seen

dancing to
a movie
of you

oh how you
move
me

Impromptu

we both woke
at the same time
but in different beds
and in different
countries

we both didn't snore
during the night and
both had dreams of
each other but when

we both woke
we were closer
then before and
getting closer
everyday

Impromptu

she's a wild
flower with
rose hips
and broad
leaves

she to me
is medicinal
and can be
prepared in
many ways

she can be
eaten raw
like a salad
a musky taste
with a hint of mint

she can be
made into a
tea and drunk
hot or cold not
needing honey

or fed with
garlic and
mustard
holding
her

close to
my chest
picante
driving
away

all
my
ailments

Impromptu

it's crunch time
bottom of the line
but i think that's
more meant to be

like i'm dying but
never give to that
which will make
you stronger

so i thought about
maybe bagging
groceries and
go figure i can

see myself
bagging an old
woman's
groceries

thinking
wow she has
all her faculties
but suddenly snap

back to reality
i'm bagging
groceries
for an

old
man

Impromptu

her and i
we'd talk
well into deep
envenings
until i

my shift
became
daylight
then that
i instead

became
daylight
then and
she became
the night

tell me when
you last saw
a rainbow
in the night

Impromptu

i lost
a whole
day

i looked
in my
pants pockets

but were those
the ones that
i was wearing

yesterday
there weren't
any holes

so thinking
don't panic yet
look at the magnetic

calender stuck
on my
fridge

but how do i
know that
that's

the
correct
year

Impromptu

she lay on
the bed like
a crucifix

i kissed
and licked
her blistered

feet annointing
my tongue with
smell and sweat

never to ever
forget that which
she has given me

sanctified
if it is her grail
time then i will

surely
drink her
dark red wine

Impromptu

i don't
need an
er*ct**n to
express what
direction my dowser

bends
or leans
as if appointed
appointments need
to be made so not said

a date
but wait
my pene dowser
has seemed to have
found the source of your

and
my mind's
desire so with
tongue and teeth
let me dig where the

X
marks
the G
spot
here

Impromptu- I Hope I Didn'T Submit This Already It Was In My Draft Box Which I Never Use

you're trying
i'm trying
you wonder
i wonder

why is this
cast literally
a body
cast

i'm a love
wreck
so out of
my mind

so out of
time with
the world
beat

as i tap
the time
with not
my foot

but
with
my
toes
