With inscrutable imprecision and ominousness
The night faded into a Dracula’s delicious twilight
Blood moon promised never materialized
Soothsayers recognized the beginning of a prophecy
They dared not discuss it, even among themselves
Enemies lurk in trees, shadows ditches and shallow pools
During a twilight like this, it is best to cease magic
The witches were silent, lamenting in lonely corners

I never measure or use a straight edge
Ruler? Measuring cup? I scoff at these tools.
I approximate everything that I do.
That is why I am a folk artist, not a fine artist.
I cook with total imprecision too
Guesswork is my best friend
I toss in a dollop of this and a dash of that
My husband runs when he sees my surprise casseroles.

Keep it brief, compact, concise.
Say it precisely, shred excess words.
Use exact simple words, chosen carefully,
pithy and strong to convey what you mean,
with no fluffy stuff or beating around the bush
Short and sweet the aim,
to the point skewered;
sharply focused, no fuzz to confuse.
Avoid coping out by adding weak,
mealy words that betrays
laziness and carelessness.
If you struggle to find the words
to express what you mean,
your uncertainty and imprecision
reveals that you don't really understand the issues.
Its time to think again and work it out.
If you can't explain it simply and succinctly
you don't really understand it adequately.

It was a memory, that day
When I will feel the only bliss
When you will drift into my arms
As though you feel the emptiness
There will be a time when I felt love
When all the stars seemed more than you and me
There will be a time when you were mine
I'll know the sea when I could love and be
The shores of time, a wave is still a wave
A feeling fades, dissolved into the sand
The mounted moments each of every day
The present, once subsumed into the soul, once more the land,
Ravaged, lost into the imprecision of effect
