Premium Member Spirit in the Stone

there are faceted sides
with the jewelers cut

an intuitive act – an empath’s work of refinement
that boasts mastery and natural symmetry

stolen from the roughness
commandeered from a fleck of carbon
embodied in 990,000,000 years of evolution
he endeavors to open and free its beauty

precisely the third eye reconnoiters
with tools representing intellect
impowered by skill and modern techniques
he strikes off chards of nature’s ancient creation
chiseling to remodel its perfection
he facets to release the light
shielded and tendered in millennial history
that has waited timelessly to be revealed

like the voice that creates the aria
each note given the precise clarity
birthing the song
he imbues the human element
melding with the majesty of this ancient stone
taking shape, becoming a source for his soul

he and the stone are one
with the wisdom of what eternity truly is
within the infinite human heart

Premium Member You Are What You Think

Like a baby
screaming out
exciting
mind to action
speechless heart
thinks in silence:
happy thoughts
stretch a smile
sad thoughts
wet the eyes
jealous thoughts
invent a lie
envious thoughts
grab the knife
fearful thoughts
talents hide
branding
all actions
as inadequate.
In the garden
of the mind
left unwatched
cockle thrives
love unlocks and
grows the talent
watered by
the truth
of adequate.
If asleep instead
of driving
mind is driven
by the pattern
learned from
the cradling
past
following easy
path of habit.
If awaken mind
can choose
which thoughts
and start again
choosing path
by design
and become
what one desires.
Heart's feelings
can demand
only mind
opens hand
moving lips
to forgive
and the heart
to love again.
Branch attached
to the Vine
opens to
His flowing life
is impowered
by divine
healing faith
daring charity
guiding hope
and love eternal
flowing out
from Vine to branch
once inadequate
now impowered.

Hey Baby

Your devine beauty I see every day
When we kiss i float away
My body impowered and full of love
It will never stop like rain from above
As we sit together and our eyes meet
I can see loves fury, its true heat
We are meant to be together no matter the cost
As long as our love stays true, it can never be lost

Without Her

I want to keep her in my heart
but i can barley play the part
she wants me to be more than i am
how can i do it im only one man
when im with her i feel great and impowered
Without her i feel sad and devoured
Hopeless i feel that im loseing true love
emotions like the color of a white dove
Dull and blocked is how i can be
But when im with her no one can see
I break away from everything i know
Without her i die breathless and slow

I'M Just Another Girl.

I'm just another girl.
My situation doesn't matter.
The fact is, at one point or another,
everyone gets let down,
everyone has disappointments,
everyone hurts.
We're all human.
We're allowed to feel these emotions
without feeling guilt or greed.
We'll all have good days & bad days;
days where you wish you'd never gotten out of bed.
Days when you think you cannot carry on any longer.
It's on these days you need to search deep down,
and keep it together when you'd rather fall apart.
Muster up every ounce of dignity & courage you have,
and put a fake smile upon that gloomy face of yours.
After a while you will feel
Impowered
Courageous
Strong
Confident.
It is this that you will take away from this experience.
You'll always remember the pain & the disappointment,
but that will only puse you harder
to become a much stronger person.

You Should Have Staid

You're nothing more than a song
or a crude sculpture that i made
I made you into something beautiful
but you're not

I handcrafted this illusion
a pitiful scheme in love
a lie upon a story
covering up a truth I had forgot

I painted you a picture
a gallery of lies and desire
all this art fleshed out in nothing
even their beauty had no chance in your fire

You were my sun shining through the rain
my placebo to fight back the endless pain

You were my Christmas in the coldest Winter
But now I see what I wouldn't remember
It's true that I'm nothing more than a spineless coward
too much heart to feel impowered

So I guess I hid you away
I made you into something not real so you would stay

I hate to ran on my parade
but even now I wish you had staid
