A beautiful sunrise,
A radiant sunset
A child's smile,
A piece of candy,
A flight of a bird,
A tree in full bloom,
A hill full of grass,
A garden of flowers,
A powerful cloud,
A rainbow of hues,
And the immenseness of the ocean.
The ever-expanding universe:
All remind me that God’s is in heaven.
His Love knows no bounds.
I am moved with gratitude
For the myriad ways
In which the world testifies to your love.
If it’s not right with the world
Then it’s our fault.

Volcanoes can engulf the land
in avalanching lava blaze
entombing picturesque Pompeiis,
for Nature has the upper hand.
Tsunamis raze an earthly strand
disrupting lives that cling to breath
in e’er untimely mortal death,
for Nature has the upper hand.
Despite the undertakings planned,
a cataclysm’s fatal sweep
may chance on beings deep asleep,
for Nature has the upper hand.
Across the cosmic reaches grand
the heavens prove their vast command
where’er our telescopes have scanned,
for Nature has the upper hand.
We stamp our heady hubris brand
upon the beauteous terrain
which humans claim as their domain,
still Nature has the upper hand.
An instance in immenseness spanned
we’re but a bit of Nature and
regardless if we understand
Great Nature has the upper hand!

I look up at the stars and marvel at their setting
The darkness of the sky, which is used, as their netting
The vastness of our solar system, as we orbit round the sun
The immenseness of our planets and how each one is spun
The massiveness of earth, holding continents and seas
Its rivers and its lakes, beneath the mountains and the trees
The fascination of humanity, how we adapted and we grew
Ever grateful, among all this beauty, I was still able, to find you

Narrow halves of smooth cliff
split dry heavens,
and the asphalt’s abrupt termination
sends the casual river to slip contrast.
Fluttering cottonwood leaves speak to angels,
rising from majestic places of stone.
Pebbles plummet canyon crevices.
Evergreens break the borders of rock and sky.
Life arrows forth from barren boulders.
Sand will surrender its secrets,
to the pines communing on
flaming walls of layered immenseness.
We glimpse the hourglass of Gods.
Canyons uplifted,
or a river melts,
but it lives before,
and travels beyond!

Immenseness of the contrast –
from blue eyes to red apples,
(we must stop apple picking!)
from smashed leg to a stone wall –
squanders the soft toys of time.
A peach colored queen lies in state
from centuries
to be buried in a golden casket.
Poverty of words,
hunts for the meaning, rhyme and consonance.
I drink darkness from the white lips.
Green eyes will find,
a sun at last.
The urn is broken.
The scented hairs cover my face –
tendrils of a brute fate.
A mutilated mirror will reflect the distorted history
of man, through the ages of dust
and wounds. The earth was riveting the god.

From this indeterminate point in the universe
These eyes roll in search for the bounds common on earth,
Find nothing but fiasco in its immenseness
And believe that the Omnipotent gave it birth.
If I counteracted the state of the vacuum
And fell astray in space to no sure direction,
Would there be ground to catch me, ad infinitum?
Could numbers manage to describe my position?
If energies could send this man light years away,
Passing by countless stars and galaxies,
From a distance where travel stops and I may stay,
Could space seem like a dust from these extremities?
If we were ignorant of nuclear fusion
And believers of the sameness of fire and stars,
Could the sun last in its celestial dominion
Only with fuel that turns to ash as it sparks?

In twilight of pain
I blink for a dot
to punctuate the intelligence.
My incoherence brings the unseen.
I stay at a vowel
to see the truth.
Immenseness versus depth,
in shoals of turbulent life.
Where do I hide my vessel ?
A lure of the exotic death
does not bring the peach color
to reveal the light on earth.
An inverted blankness prints
the words of green bruises,
where the falls meet.

Form: I do not know?
I look for the words...
but there are none to be found.
And even as I write this,
I know how that must sound.
Everything has been said before,
every sound has already sounded.
But even though this may be...
I search and search, dumbfounded.
For within myself are a billion words.
Within my mind untamed.
There lie sonnets never written,
and stories that be not famed.
There sleeps love that be unspoken.
There in the darkness of the brain.
Yes, somewhere amidst those dying cells...
are the speeches of the lost...The Insane...
And I can never express them to you,
nor any other the same.
For these are the beauty of immenseness unheard,
for no one can say their name.

Transparency, of a summer morn
when the blue from the window is so far, so pure
you are filled with immenseness
and a certain feeling that something on the verge
of life shattering is just. about. to happen...
And it does...
Groggy heads, tousled with the wrangling of last's nights dreams stumble out into the kitchen
Stealth of caffeine kicking the blood into action with the second cup of coffee and pattering feet
The crack of a fresh melon and it's pink shiny lips and smiles for breakfast
Fifteen, yes fifteen, new tomatoes on the plant out back just waiting for their morning water
Bare shoulders already on the verge of a sun bite - ready for freckling and coconut lotion
and before all of this, before the opening of eyes, the coffee's steam, the touch of sun
- at the first sight of the sky at dawn, my thoughts are to wake you.
For how can all this beauty be only mine to consume?
It's here, on a silver rimmed platter of swollen clouds in this blue sea~ that we are served our dreams...
One merely has to find the window...
