Idealess Poems | Examples

Disappointment

A blank, white paper.
Hate disappointing myself.
Asking for a chance.

Lazy Coffee

ah, another morning
sitting down to write
just sneezed on my paper
must be a sign
I wrote something right
but wait!
I haven't written anything!
oh, come on coffee
start to work your magic
or I swear I'll fire you
and hire tea!
to be left idealess
is oh so tragic
don't make me bend
your little beans
over my authoritative knee!
I hired you to do a job
so quit being lazy, coffee!
now apologize to pen and paper
and get your butt to work for me!!!!

Untitled

what is to say
to those who say
more than they say.
or not say.
question with question,
behind a question.

they say a lot about themselves.
they hear themselves.
their ears are open for them
and serving themselves only.

the strive to strive.
to compose an idea,
and suggest creating an idea
for the sake of having an idea.

a man without an idea,
is not man.
they say.
he is idealess.

instead, he just is.
much greater than a 'say'
much greater than a 'question'
much greater than some art.

he just is.
content.
simple.
at times fearless.
brave to show his testicles to the world.
every hair and crest,
mole and wrinkle.
smell and the sweat.
bare.

this is his art.
to be.

it is to be or not to be.
it should be your question.
Form: Verse

Conservatism

Conservatism's ideology
Is static. For that reason, everything
It touches stagnates and thus decays.
We live in a universe that expands:
Dynamic, and ever characterized
By firm continuous change-alive!
Conservatives, stuck in traditions
Unable, feckless slaves of status quo
Impede advancement for those souls in need.
Those at the top espouse unwritten laws
That favor power, wealth and selfishly
Retain these hieratic gifts bequeathed
By past idolized idealess fops
Who gained their prominence on backs of men.
