Premium Member Not a Wolf I Bet

something is howling
more than one wolf and his mate
yipping coyotes

excited yipping
coyotes cornered something
not a wolf I bet

Premium Member I bet you will like this one

I do not like anything symmetrical
it is the artist in me
I wanted color for the kitchen
my husband leans toward black and white
he likes round things, and hearts, things that are even on both sides

I think symmetrical things are nonimaginative and boring
The minute I saw the multi-colored tile I knew that was going into my kitchen.
My husband had been saying “I like this, I like this I like this”
his choices were bland, tan, gray, vanilla, colorless.

I heard him say “I bet you will like this one.”
When I turned and saw it, he knew.
This colorful tile backdrop is now in our kitchen.
It has perked the entire house up.
I had to get a new canister set, and new dishes.
They bring me joy also, so it was worth it.

I Bet You Know

Echoes in mind-
Me, so annoyed.
Someone, drown me now!
... ... ... ... ... ...
But toxic smog cleared with
Your presence near.
One light-hearted touch
Lifted my dense gloomy doubts.
Now my face, a smile spread across,
Real and proud.

We don't stick, but I feel attached
Almost all the time.
Thanks for coming to me
Thanks for staying.
All might know the way
But only you do walk the path,
I bet you know-
Same steps, I'd take, in reversal.

You are my best friend here.
Certain, by the way my name is called.
Can we pause all watches and clocks?
Block the world, escape to an isle
With the other two companies we enjoy
So much.

I Bet

I bet you don't see the stars in his eyes
The galaxies that encompass his mind
The beauty of darkness
Held within a heart
That never knew how to love
I bet you can't comprehend his thoughts that embody black holes
Lost within the calamity of it all
But my heart always had his embraced within the grip of my palm
But it lead astray
The constellations didn't quite align correctly
The planets orbited incoherently
And that path
Mistakingly lead to you
So here I am
Lost within the concept of time and space
Who fell in love with a star
That was dead at first sight

Premium Member I Bet You'D Rather Have a Colonoscopy

These are my people
they're not yours
or are they?

You don't want them to be
can see that
clearly...

So how come you come around?

How come your attraction is mixed with such
reticence?

Yeah, I get it that you never thought about it. And you
don't have to forever but here we are doing
this and I gotta feelin'

You wanna know what it means.

I Bet You Thought I Forgot Bout You

On this day, I remember you, I bet you thought i forgot
all the good times we had,the way you used to tell me,
how much you loved me, how you could never let me go,
at the end of our date, all those special days are still there

On this day,I remember you,I bet you thought I forgot,
the first time we met , how i kept pushing you away,
how you kept on trying to go out with me, until fanilly
i gave in, from that day on it didn't matter, we had to be together,

On this day, I want you to know, I never forgot about you,
even thought I left for reasons, you will never understand,
maybe you will always be mad, because of that, but i never
forgot. I guess a part of me will always love you.
