The Trumpet of Parrots

If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor – Desmond Tutu

The Trumpet of Parrots

Patriots rally to the trumpet sound,
its blare echoes the lies that bigots breed.
Perched in power, pipers, in pretence gowned,
their hatred spreads, disguised as noble creed.

They stoke the tribal fire in ancient scars,
while hissing hypes to mask the stench of greed.
Their chorus of lies taints Venus and Mars,
who like pawns follow blindly the king’s lead.

Their victims vilified and ridiculed.
Protesters branded as dregs of the state,
by troops of diehards loathsome and unschooled,
As crony capitalists preach their hate.

So, mark the flock that flaps where conscience sleeps:
A nation full of parrots gently weeps.

Football Enmity Between Argentina and Nigeria

The World Cup went to Argentina.
Those who like it still drink Maltina:
In Nigeria, few, for love of France;
If France had won would have done some dance.

I guess Maradona had caused it;
Would have Super Eagles trounced and throat slit:
He was talking about some Six - Nil,
Sure he would not be climbing a hill...

And, since, it's been Football Enmity
One wouldn't guess its enormity
'Twixt Argentina and Nigeria,
Where Football Loss worsens Malaria.

That's Maradona as Muhammad Ali,
Hypes trying and seeking Staunch Ally.

A Silence Knows the Fairest Reason

I attended three sermons in a row
In the neighborhood church on Jackson.

Tear dropped there too, on the quran of mine, sky-blue colored
And on the cover of the hymn prayer book, it strangely rhymed.

Sermon,
On Fridays and Sundays
Are they two unknown roads of Robert Frost?
Equally worn out? Equally taken along frequency?
So that strangers are mostly certain about the Tan, Sine and Cosine?
After an incessant rain , we could tell each other a tale , stopping, “Reign!”
Parentheses are like a memorandum of understanding, priorities of your own.

Papyrus,
After 5 pm, if they all there turn color blind to moo moo all the cows!
Cows that can type, and can create superb hypes!

I pressed, paused and neglected my churned up pasteurization
As for now,
Meaningful work-life -balance will do a sieve analysis, as per annum
Soup egg drops in an ocean of lemon grass
To make a way
As the cook was befitting!

Does not matter anyway, better leave her precious to leave or granted to go!
Silence is gold at times, and dollar values are poisons!

In-Activity or Inactivity
A silence knows the fairest reason!

Premium MemberYou Are the True Queen Bee

Floral woman daily adorned with flowers of all types
Her hybrid lilies and orchard caused comments and hypes.
She wandered through the bee field, enticing the worker bees
They located her fragrant pollens, which took them to their knees.

You are the real queen bee, one of the worker bees told her.
She smiled, but did not acknowledge it, acting feminine and pure
See, she had run into the queen bee many years ago
Another encounter might fill her full of stinging woe.

Bad Side of Media Hype

That's one thing about Media Hype:
A help to the The Low - Rated Type,
An unseeded challenger ripe
For a show down with Champion Tripe,
Who'd him not spare blows like a snipe,
On yielding flesh taking a swipe,
Blood permitting rush from slit pipe;
On challenger's body Christ's Stripe...

Many rimes Hypes have struck sad blows,
Blood on River Nile as it flows
Several times brought in stark pestle
For some chap to with it wrestle...

Face of one denied Media Hype
A parade of lines that could gripe

Krishna Has An Ink Effect In Our Greater Supplication These Days

Krishna has an ink effect in our greater supplication, these days!

How come?
From when?
For quite a few days! Since I returned from Bangladesh.
It seems quite a hazard!

Are you in truce with your landlady?
That is another epic ! An enormous one !
Attuned harmony, cryptocurrency in scripted Java, and Architectural Parthenon, ding dong, in ping pong

And I simply pondered
Which trash can served the son
In serving chores for "Tapati" , the grandiose mentor?

O, Fix yourself, just look at you!
You are just an advertised face of Sandalina Sandal soap , these days!
Have you ever washed your holy month of Sha'ban,
of days bygone?
Or a pure "Miswak?"

How far are you? In your own mirror?
Till the recorded reels are disposed,
to the fullest extent!
An unknown rural tune is surmising in only fluke news

A floating trochaic, in enormous hypes!

Premium MemberThe Land of Milk and Honey

It’s the land of milk and honey,
you fail to see beneath stars and stripes;
Hard work holds prosperous and free;

The lifestyle seems to come so easy,
lost within stories and stereotypes;
It’s the land of milk and honey;

Just getting by is a catastrophe,
inflation and basic survival snipes;
Hard work holds prosperous and free;

Left coast dreams east coast tyranny,
always seem to be surrounded by hypes;
It’s the land of milk and honey;

Pushing limits is what it was meant to be,
competition gives birth to prototypes;
Hard work holds prosperous and free;

Stay grounded and look carefully,
flooded with media and fancy teletypes;
It’s the land of milk and honey,
hard work holds prosperous and free.

Inside His Mind

He reverts back to the scars of his youth
Fighting the demon he’s turning into
Trying to sweep away a fire
As he holds the igniter
Lighter fluids doused all over the broom
That's been his mood
He sits alone
looking a little confused
Why'd you saw me to the bone?
When you said it will just leave be a bruise

He’s neglected
He’s on his last leg
And he’s desperate
He’s hurtin’
So he decided he’s gonna get the last word in
Going to tip the glass left
Shake whatevers loose
And close curtain

He lifts his chin up
On a chair in his room
Hypes himself up
with whisky and valium
Tied a knot around his neck
And then tied the knot to his roof
There was nothing I could do
Just dug my hands into my head
Like I was about to tear it in two

I’m sorry that I left us
I feel sick to my soul
My brain feels infected
I just had to “dont know”
I needed help from feeling helpless
After al the sparkles I collected
I finally got the nerve
To speak up stop feeling nervous
Only to suffocate on every word

Longing

Happy ages long gone,.
Left me weak to the bone..
New hypes barely borne..
To boredom we were sworn..
How i cherish old days long gone.

Traders In Time

To and fro, up and down
Traders in time in turns of toil
In bid of bliss and green- grounds
Tearful and gleeful, Cheerful and stressful
Hunt and hound for varied delights

Coming and going all the time
Voices of millions that vent all the way
In continuous cycles rushing along all day
Like busy ants saving for rainy days
And restless birds scurrying to perch

Streaming along day after day
Gathering and making meaning of scraps
They strut and thud
Putting up shades and hiding in tents
Along this far-flung space

Via momentous hypes they swirl
Amid punctures of conflicts and catharsis
Till again their restless feet
Weary out and others take their place

The Moxie

I can read for days,
and write through the hypes,

I can age old beer with emotional nights,

I can eat a whole pie,
and pray not to die,

I can sleep with no sound,
just like you hide behind the pound,

I can see the wind,

I can taste the sky,

I can see that I wasn't here first-
because...look! There! That's the real guy!

I can find a foundation,
and prove procreation-

But I can't do it alone,
I need gyration,

...So far away from being old,
from singing songs that get played out by the bowl,

...But the apes did there part,
and so did the Nazi's...
and so did the internet...
and so did the moxie...

Because real people like jocking-
and fake ones like coughing,

Needy nights keep popping!

While wasted winter is still flopping.

When a dead prince is beating and haughty-
you are still lying-
and you are still bossing!

So keep reading the facts,
keep praying for slack,
keep wasting precious brain,
and making another feel insane,

come out and mac!

Do it again, and again,
and again and again!

Be gone in a pack-
like micro germs-

you discovered my nack.

Shattered Heart

Shattered heart,
Veins apart,
Shattered heart,
Is just a start...

Trust of yolk has been taken away,
All hypes and vibes been shaken astray,
The emptiness of hate still won't go away,
Sunken cries goes on with betray.

Shattered heart oh shattered heart!
Thou your pieces is still at bay,
But mighty Healer,the great dart,
Will wash away the pain at hay!

Shattered heart,
Pain at start,
Shattered heart,
Rejoice at last...

Profits Are Poets

Two thousand twelve, just a new year,
No one knows the end, except one.
With faith, knowing right, none to fear,
Everyone just hypes to shun.
Others do it, in lively pun.
Outcomes of profits can be fit.
They can be played, on any bit.
Profits are mans weakness, in life.
They make all people, fear their wit.
Profits are poets, giving strife.

He Was To and Has Lost the Bet

Strumming woes invade the greek pysche filled with ego and eid
three fingers wilted on the hands of destiny, tap mysteriously the mind lid
about to explode and summit like volcano , unknown as to its type
fate lines meander ,criss cross and form irregular hypes
crass brass of acts, shame the simpleton as he breaks into painful smile
never ever will that error be executed, he cries shoutingly
cannot retrace back that, is what kills so humungously
what an idiotic time that was when he bet fortune
on the loosing ,weak and unknown jockey and horse set
he was to and has lost the bet.
