Hold On Poems

Premium MemberHOLD ON TO ONE ANOTHER

May we be blessed
in this unpredictable and oftentimes scary world…
to make it part of our plan..
to love and hold on to one other
as often as we can

Forever A Hold On

Yesterday a funeral blocked my streets
They passed their silent tears to me

On window glass reflecting them in rain
So soon to sob roots outside the pain

Of the last closing stone —
Where memories are in flowers thrown

Has a heart in heaven a new name?
Or is beloved just beloved for beloved's sake?

As ones grieving overcast by their cloud rawing
I saw rain as a comfort in the body —

Hold On

Hold On
 Hold on to the truth.
Through the sky he believes in you.
 Wehold old fashion values.
Find the lost, they will follow.
 Abounding in joy, live freely.
Sin divides us, but he still loves you and me.
With knowledge give back your time.
Like a plant, you are the vine.
Weall have potential to carry the cross.
As a student, we learn from the start.
 Observe and be humble.
Give thanks and pray so we do not stumble.
In darkness, show me the way.
Walk with Jesus with no delay.
When you were only 12 you were in your fathers house.
You are the remedy when I’m lost, now I am found.
 Your kindness is limitless.
On one knee it’s time to commit.
On this journey you walk beside me.
At the cross we can now see.
Forgive me for my days are numbered.
Through your sacrifice., you are with me forever.

Premium MemberHold On To Loose Ends

Hold on to loose ends
Hold on to loose ends
As the world around
Continues to unravel

Cast adrift
Alone at sea
Where are you
If not in me?

All that’s lost
Shall be found
When truth reigns
And love abounds

World still turning
All karma’s burning
Hold on to loose ends
Hold on to loose ends

Premium MemberHold on to this Anchor Please

When you stagger under the heavy weight of life,
There will hardly be anyone to ease your grief.

But there is always God as your anchor and fort
He is there ever gracious and ready to support.

When you make up your mind to reach God,
You’ll see a chasm separating you and the Lord.

Your legs may grow weary as you begin to walk.
Hurdles and impediments, your path may block.

Don’t be discouraged, please hold on to this anchor
As in chilly winter, for a warm day, we all hanker.

The opulence of this world, can never fill your heart.
It is in God you will find life’s whole comfort.

When sorrow strikes and life turns utterly bleak,
And in every trial of life, it’s Him that you should seek.

Into His caring hands, your life’s reins, you give.
He is enough to solve all your problems, do believe!

Hold On To Me

I'll give You all I have Lord
To serve You night and day
Your wish is my command dear God
Just tell me what to say
I believe I am Your servant
I'll do anything You ask
As long as You are happy
A joy for You that lasts and lasts
Receive my fervent prayer God
Consider it a gift
Hold on to me dear precious Lord
With You I cannot miss

Hold On to That Thought

Hold on to that thought!
It was put there for a reason.

That not-so-good idea?
Might be perfect for next season.

The inkling of a dream
That looks impossibly big

Is perhaps your way forward
To a new innovative gig!

You were put here a creator
Of mind-blowing destinies.

The world to reckon with
An everlasting legacy!

I'll hold on the line mom

Even though you didn't even ask me to, I am wearing two different types of shoe'.
"Safer, I'll show!" I point out to people while they make me low.
Glow is marked on my face because what is happening was not the case.
A phrase I remembered, I thought:
warm they make me. And so do they protect me.
The colors get darker through Winter but light up when it's mint'er.
Laces do often fall on the ground, which makes me embarrassed in the mall,
But so I just lace them back together to go.
They hold me through the way and suffer through the way.
Mom, if I could, I would paint the sky green, and not let any streets or cars be seen.
Little baby sheep would fill the ground instead of the dishes of amount.

Premium MemberHold On Tightly Bob and Wheel

Hold on,
don't you dare let me go;
From sunset until dawn
caught in the undertow;
I'm all thawing passion;

Tightly,
paradise is fleeting;
Savor that melt gently
the Sun will be riding
the Moon's coattails quickly;

Don't fall,
I may have a rough bounce;
Playing with that eight ball
a star with a sly pounce,
believe for the long-haul.

Hold On

Hold on to me,
Why?
Because I will hold on to you.
Even on your toughest days,
Even when everything feels like a maze,
And when you're mad at me,
I will let you be,
But that won't mean,
I'll stop caring about your well-being,
Alas my dear friend,
This poem has come to an unexpected end.

Cant Hold On To Love

Have you found yet what you’re looking for
Did you find your golden glove
‘Cause you can’t hold on to what you have
If you can’t hold on to love

So how’d it all work out for you
Was it what you were dreaming of
Bad karma will creep up and getcha’
When you can’t hold on to love

Now you deal with all the loneliness
And sometimes you need a hug
But there’s no one there hold you
‘Cause you can’t hold on to love

And now after every breakup
You swear that you’ve had enough
Until after you seek your next victim
You know you can’t hold on to love

Hold On To Your Humanity

Hold on to your Humanity

Living in such trying times in all these confusing events
Unsure of what is true, and what our beliefs represents
Bewildered by what we hear and what we see
Perplexed by catastrophic consequences that be

Aware of the struggles of those trying to stay alive
Wondering how we, the human race can survive
Heartbroken by the strife that some must undergo
Baffled by the enlightenment we will never know

Confused by misinformation, leading to such lies
Unsettling way of what these untruths truly implies
As we lose our ability to see these tragedies unfold
We close our eyes to the injustice having a stranglehold

When the denial of choices lead to such a calamity
When the fabric of life is somehow lost within vanity
When you shed a tear to all of this confusing insanity
When you know it’s time to hold on to your humanity
