Morning On the Grassland of Wollongong Cbd

Swallows fly and swallow flies
While grasshoppers hide in grass hiders

I cross the boundary of illusion
in a poet's dream
through a thin-texture web
that waves before me

words of black, pass in front of me
one word after another
flickers before my eyes
everything is fragile, delicate
then falls by the wayside
into a darkness

a winding road lays before me
twisting and turning
to disappear into a gossamer veil
that hangs from nowhere

shades and shadows are hiders of its secret
they call me, inviting me
to lift this veil of illusion
where dreamers dream

I balance on a thin thread
that stretches across an immense canyon
where words rise slowly
to be plucked from the air
without falling into the unknown
where imagination is boiling over
forming new words
creating the gossamer veil
in my dream

Premium MemberMy Foot In It

Today at two in Kansas City there is an annual meeting
of slave drivers, raw hiders, task masters, micromanagers,
and Simon LeGrees.

I noticed my boss was still hanging around the office at 1:30
And the convention center is twenty-two minutes away.
Aren’t you late for a meeting? I asked him.
What meeting? He asked me, interested.
No where to go from here
but down.
I pretended
I was in the throes
of a forgetful moment.

Premium MemberHalloween Night

Come we're gonna have a party wear a costume bring your cat
The cauldrons ready so don't tardy bring your Hocus Pocus hat

Grab some munchies at the door moaning sounds all that gore
It is Aldo playing Rambo, with scary spiders, hiders , ..more

Watch my red horns battery start they are bought in WallyMart
Go ahead scream or screech but for heaven sakes don't fart !

Moon is grinning ear to ear but don't fear, its eyeball leer
Zombie stomps and gettish romps, Halloween is here to peer

Riser ghosts in scary training with their chit-chit chitty fangs
Bow to Satan and his laughs, he's a bad ass dude with bangs

Come on join the party, we got so much willies and dillies
we're gonna get drunk on red koolaid and smoke ciggies

Grab the coffin shaped candy from the grab bag join the clomp
gonna take it to the limit and do a Michael Jackson swamp ....

Come were gonna gave a party and we're gonna scare a ton
Be the door nails and the hinges, of this Halloween of fun.

Halloween: My Favorite Time of the Year

Halloween: The Best Time of the Year

Halloween
Frightening
Everything about the nonliving
Everything about the dead
Scary stories to be said
Monsters coming out from under your bed
All in one night
All in the biggest fright
Lock your doors really tight
Trick or treat
Smell my feet
Don’t give me no rotten meat!
Candy everywhere
Scary masks giving you a stare
Giving you a scare
Toothaches
People acting fake
Zombies come and wake
Knock on every door
Abandon houses to explore
Stay safe worried moms implore
Flying witches on brooms
Wake up the tombs
You are doomed!
Pumpkins glow out light
Clock strikes midnight
Kids wandering around is still a sight
Children eat pumpkin pie
Watch movies where people die
This night is no lie
Old men hitting teenagers with their canes
People loosing their brains, all aboard the haunted train!
All humans drinking cider
Watch out for hooligan hiders
Watch out for creepy crawly spiders!
Halloween is my favorite time of the year
Everything is to be feared
Everything is a little to near

Premium MemberGiggles For Age Hiders

Deceptive Griselda is not so fair
She conceals her real age, will not declare
On the Net she croons love’s tunes
To make all the young men swoon
A fantasyland like hers is so rare

The secrets that she always locks within
Mysterious as the Shroud of Turin
     ‘Twould be easier to gauge
     The much-debated shroud’s age
Than guess the date of photos she's seen in

Wherever she goes, she carries laptops
Sexy blog posts from nursing home rooftops
     Delusional minds deceive
Some catch on, some still believe
But at 87; her figure’s flopped
