As the fires burn up our forests
and the deadly floods ravage our earth

Remembering The Fallen Heroes

I was only about four years old when I saw my mother crying
Two soldiers at our front door said something about him dying
When they left mom took me to one side and she said to me
"Daddy's never coming home" I said "Mom, why isn't he"?.

DAILY GRATITUDE HEROES

Today I’m grateful for a better understanding of what a hero is:

for 72 years life has been my teacher
And she has taught me a hero 
is anyone determined to make this world a better place
for every living creature.
