Purple-haired teens of large girth,
courageously saving the earth,
are staging big pours
in grocery stores;
they're milking for all that it’s worth!

Found my way round London like a boss
Know the best way to Piccadilly and Kings Cross
For I'm a Londoner now
Seen the sights Big Ben and the like
Taken a cycle journey on a Boris bike
For I'm a Londoner now
I've been on the tubes and on a red bus
Got into Harrods without any fuss
For I'm a Londoner now
Seen the Arsenal play and the Spurs too
Chelsea and Fulham I still must do
For I'm a Londoner now
I have ate jellied eels in the East end
Learnt the lingo my mucker is a friend
For I'm a Londoner now
I had a good time seeing a West end show
London dear reader is the city to go
For I'm a Londoner now

January Two Perspectives
From his park bench bed
He hears bells chime in New Year.
Quiet desperation.
From her pavement tent
She peeps. Harrods is open!
January sales!

Do you know a teacher you think may be a cheater
If you shop at ‘Harrods’ are you considered posh
If your car breaks down, do you call the RAC
When you play pool or polo do you go round in a loop
If you prick your hand on a rose thorn is it rather sore
Is life all doom and gloom and you get in a mood
Do you live in a world you think is vile or evil
Does your alarm emit a bleep at a set time
Do you dare to pick up a dear book to read
Do you head for the toilets when you want to read T S Eliot

The mist in Regent Gardens air
awakes a single rosebud there.
Her scent drifts past Trafalgar Square -
England’s summer has begun.
The rising sun above the Thames
shines brighter than a crown of gems;
peeks through the panes of Buckingham
until the day is done.
Saint James Park invites the dawn
as sunbeams nudge the regal lawn.
Grass blades spread their arms and yawn:
"Good Morning, Summer day!"
Big Ben chimes a fond embrace
whilst daybreak warms his noble face.
Tower Bridge can sense sweet grace -
Summer’s song is on Her way.
Chiffchaffs adorn the royal parks
as children’s voices trill like larks.
Blooming dogwoods deftly bark
in praise of Summer’s song.
Purple lilacs perfume the breeze.
Lombard's merchants aim to please.
Harrods unfurls green canopies
to shade the heated throng.
Piccadilly Circus burns so bright.
Vibrant neons illume the night.
A merry moon beams with delight -
enthralled by Summer’s spell.
Bells of St. Paul sing me goodbye,
as o'er the River Thames I fly.
My heart begins to sigh, as I
bid my London Summer - farewell.

Hey honey,will you be mine
I've got the cutest chat-up line;
What you see is what you get,
Fly with me by private jet !
Vacation by the sunny Med'.
My wealth has Wall street cred'
Play your cards with great care,
And perhaps some day we'll wed!
I'll wine and dine you each day,
On Caribbean sands we'll play;
You'll shop in Harrods & Tiffany,
Money's no expense with me !
Your beauty so dazzles me,
It will make you a celebrity;
Our love-match will be no dream,
I'll sell it to Hello magazine.
