January  Two Perspectives

From his park bench bed
He hears bells chime in New Year.
Quiet desperation.

From her pavement tent
She peeps.  Harrods is open!
January sales!

I love the perspective change in the two stanzas and how the second perspective shows a sort of self-centered average society member while the first shows a down-to-earth citizen in a calm, peaceful, environment. creative and well written. :) by the way thank you for the words on my poem, "Sunflower".
