Big stones, rig stones
Calling out to dig stones
Round stones, pound stones
Sitting on the ground stones
Small stones, wall stones
Make you trip and fall stones
Grey stones, play stones
Lying in the way stones
Black stones, stack stones
Ready for attack stones
Bright stones, white stones
Feeling very light stones
Red stones, headstones
Under your feet tread stones
Two stones, blue stones
Teaching how to hew stones
Limestones, slime stones
Weathering all time stones
Sandstones, grand stones
Spread out on the land stones
Brownstones, crown stones
You can break them down stones
Bloodstones, stud stones
Flowing with the flood stones
Brimstones, gemstones,
Shining diadem stones
Rough stones, tough stones
There are not enough stones
Grindstones, lined stones
Everywhere you find stones

I look ahead to the ends promised in my mind
But always reality clouds my eyes with the peppers of life
Sometimes I make hasty progress
Only a few steps ahead to be forced more steps to regress
Sometimes my hope gets a boost from a fine line I read off a book
But as soon as I lay down the book
The reality of a stool beneath my foot
Makes me anticipate the pain of the noose
Still I have a will and I know that soon I will
On the back of the winged unicorn of my dreams
...I will soar free
This reality is for the benefit of my dreams
On its harsh grindstones I will sharpen my will to live

Grey dust night with iron trees
Blistered heat rotates the earth to freeze
Colored rain in a prism bleeds
Tomorrow, they'll be flowers.
Lips so sour they bite themselves
Eyes with sandpaper lids and nails
Heart discarded like ancient shells
Tomorrow, I'll be young.
Bright light camera infernal lies
News is that someone's loved one died
Damage a child and you will be tried
but then you'll be set free.
Justice has turned a deaf ear to me
The red tide swells at the edge of the sea
Elevate the heat in this room a degree
Tomorrow, truth emerges.
Slippery ground on an earthquake bank
The world's greatest minds blow a nuclear think tank
Shoulders to grindstones 'till the grindstones sank
Tomorrow, freedom breathes.
Tomorrow, freedom breathes.
