The reflection is far away to the blind
As music is far away to the deaf
As free speech is elusive to the mute
Provision have been arranged by God
How far is humanity equal to opportunity
Life maybe unfair on how we care for others
There must be a concrete solution for grievances
To find the true meaning of our existence.

Years End
David J Walker
The grievances of the season past
Are painted in numerous
Hues of red and gold
With the last phases blending into the
Browns found on any cold ground
It came too fast, they say
And never lasts as long as promised
Before the ice and snow erase
The final trace of color from the year
The next Spring
Then summer will bring
Its own new generation
To be named before it passes

Brothers forgive your intruders
for the Holocaust they have caused you.
Another land of Canaan taken forever
and they wanted you to perish
like the great Nation of Phoenicians.
Fortunately you had good prophets:
Dekanawida and others.
You did not listen to Jezebel
and Great Spirit, Manitu led you
to the Holy Spirit and true God.
We stand in front of you,
all Native Tribes –
humble, with heads bend.
Our president, who received Nobel Peace Prize,
had the time to reconcile
the atrocities committed on your people,
by the hostile men,
who had to corrupt their own religion
of one Church of Christ
to justify their terrible deeds!

Spooling southward on shattered wing-
I ache to fold from life’s cruel sting!
(I’d rather die, than say goodbye)
Because I can’t repent this suffering
(A reinvention of 'No Assembly Required')
